I really think Jeff should sue. At this point, he’s been as amicable as anyone could possibly be. His life will never be the same, and he’s entitled to compensation for that. I feel awful for him.
yeah, but... he climbed up there on that piece of ultra heavy construction equipment...to be spun in circles. A judge or jury gives a percentage of blame, it's not win lose, 1 or 0 ect. I suspect that he would most likely lose any actual case, because of his own personal culpibility. There was no way to make what they were doing safe. Both him and dobrik are morons, and it sucks that he is dealing with a TBI and eye issues....but he seems to take very little personal responsibility for himself.

Just like the girl who was assaulted by dom took her time to fully understand how she was taken advantage of, Jeff took his time post incident to understand how he was a victim in his own way. It takes people time to fully understand when traumatic things happen, so I feel like this should help gain sympathy from the people who didn’t understand why the girl didn’t speak up for however long. I read the comments for this episode before watching and was expecting Ethan to rip Jeff and his friend apart. But it was legit the lightest Ethan just being slightly annoying by continuously point out Jeff’s friend is barely paying attention to Jeff talk. Thats it, like damn everyone needs to touch grass.

With peace and love, the Ukraine bit is extremely insensitive. Many of us have family and friends there. We don't know if we will ever see them again, not to mention all the people who already lost their lives. And personally, being from Israel, the air raid siren was extremely triggering. And after spending the last couple of days panicking over the lives of my family, and all Ukrainian people, this was very disheartening to see. I know Ethan and the H3 crew are trying to provide some relief and comedy about the situation, but this is not the way, truly. I hope Ethan doesn't see this as "hate" or being "sensitive". He's shown time and time again his ability to be empathetic and learn from his mistakes, and I hope he does this time.

Honest feedback, sorry in advance Watching the Jeff section was hard, as in too many pauses for nothing to be said no offense. Can you please try to get thru clips without pausing every 2 seconds, that’s not an exaggeration. And again no offense cuz I love u Ethan but the jokes about Jeff’s friend never hit and you kept the gag up for 30+ minutes. I love pausing and gag opportunity not analyzing a side mentioned person for their every move when I’m trying to listen to Jeff aka the main topic for clicking on the vid for most. I agree. Been a fan of H3 for years but couldn't get into the podcast cause the pausing. Came back when he started one with trish & obviously stayed cause I noticed the pausing had stopped. He's gotten bad about it again. Sometimes it's nice cause I'm laughing along with em but exactly what you said. If it's a semi serious video the two second pausing is hard to follow along.
I don't often "Laugh Out Loud" during these, but during the Masterclass read when they mentioned chimpanzees and Ethan said "is that the orange fella?" I lost it
The fact that AB anticipated Ethan wanting to bully Cody and asked him specifically not to is a bit sad, in spite of this Ethan chose to ignore him which is really rude, not vibing with Ethan's attitude on this one. Making fun of Jeff's traumatic experience ain't it, people deal and heal from trauma in different ways, Ethan doesn't get a free pass to be rude and mock Jeff cause he doesn't like his attitude or thinks he can take it.

I actually agree with Jeff's friend - David did it on purpose, to the extent that David purposely swung much too fast and tried to cause an accident for the drama. David may not have 'purposely' tried to kill Jeff, but that's sort of irrelevant when it's obvious that David did swing extremely fast knowing it would cause an accident. my thought process is that Karina had already tried it and David had swung her way too fast once already, and everyone could see that David purposely swung her way too fast. Karina even cursed David out and said "you always take things way too far" when she (thankfully) was able to get down unharmed from the rope after screaming at David to stop. everyone there knew David swung Karina too fast on purpose. IF it was an accident, David would have controlled speed on his second attempt with Jeff, but he didn't. He swung Jeff even faster than Karina. David definitely did it on purpose. You can easily control speed on a digger. They're jerky when they move, but you can easily control the speed. There's a reason you don't see diggers moving extremely fast and swinging around like crazy on construction sites - because you have to actually try to get it to move that fast and be extremely irresponsible. A digger is not meant to move that quickly. In order to swing it that fast, you literally have to jam the lever as far as it will go and leave it there to build up speed. No one does that on accident at least twice, but more than likely dozens of times (since I assume David practiced using the digger before anyone got on the rope). David clearly did it on purpose, and Jeff absolutely needs to continue to snap out of it and sue. David has no friends. He does not see a single person he works with as a friend. He sees them as replaceable assets. Nothing more. Wake up Vlog Squad - David is not your friend. He'll do the same to any of you that he did to Jeff. David wanted to swing Karina off to oblivion! A person who could never withstand a impact like that. Even someone as muscled as Jeff took life changing damage. Karina is so incredibly thin because she's basically a model. If David would seriously harm a 20 something year old girl, he'd harm anyone.
I agree too. David allegedly promised to go slow and then went to maximum speed and triggered the stop failsafe, which is what caused the accident. That says it all. Why did he go for max speed?

I have Crohn's disease (an autoimmune disease with no cure), it is pretty closely related to IBS. Crohn's can affect people anywhere from their mouth to anus. It has given me the worst days of my life and a lot of times where I have contemplated whether or not I even wanted to continue. I have never been in more pain in my life and what makes it even harder to deal with was how often I felt terrible and in pain. Being barely able to sit in a chair most days due to pain and discomfort is hard. Especially when it seems like you have more days in pain then not. Being In and out of the hospital many times. I can totally empathize with Wendy. That's not to say I don't have a laugh from time to time. Comedy is a good way to deal with problems. The borborygmi (gas and fluid noises from GI tract) are so loud that it sounds like a sewer system. However, being gassy is certainly still funny to me. I am definitely more comfortable around family, but at work borborygmi can be super embarrassing. Working from home during COVID has been one nice thing, but being more susceptible to COVID due to medication has been scary also. If you think that Wendy's farts are loud or long you ain't heard nothing yet hah. I have farted very loudly for over 5 seconds many times. I haven't recorded or counted, but I bet I have reached 10 seconds before. I should try to record or count one time. Those times when I am going through a flare up that is subsiding and my pregnancy belly of gas starts to let loose, similar to after a colonoscopy, but much worse (they pump your intestines full of air to make sure they didn't cause any holes or damage and they wait until you pass gas to leave). It's not like gas is the only problem, only this past year have I been dealing with it at this level. A lot of people deal with GI Issues that only have expensive treatments and no cure and it can be super debilitating (it can range from very mild to severe), has a ton of side effects, and can cause a ton of other complications. Anyway, hope this was in some way educational.
I’m prob alone here in that I’m not that interested in anything about Jeff or Dobrick, other than that interview, but I think Ethan should really cool it on talking about future guests RIGHT before their interviews, and should tone down on making fun of their apperences, even if it is well-intentioned and in fun jest, still not that great of etiquette as a host for future interviews. Some of y'all are'nt seeing the big picture by saying Jeff chose to get on. I agree, he is responsible for that decision, but everything after is on David. Take it from a certified collision technician who has multiple heavy machinery licenses. David lost the second he signed for the excavator. He accepted all liability when he rented it, not to mention the fact that he was the one operating it and there's video of him using ONE hand to drive at the exact moment the accident happened. There's a reason OSHA exists. I'm surprised the company he rented it from hasn't sued him (maybe because they are liable for letting someone take one whose not certified?) You're only allowed to operate it for certain conditions, none of which include putting it in a lake and swinging people around on it. Wouldn't even matter if he was licensed, which Im telling you right now there's no way he was because he'd know once you exceed maximum speed there's a fail safe set in to automatically stop it. And by paying his bills hes showing he assumed responsibility, which is why he probably stopped paying them. He's preparing for a lawsuit because he KNOWS Jeff has more than one leg to stand on.
Same thing is going to happen as with Nikocado Ethan. Don’t talk about the person you’re planning to interview cus then eventually with all the shit talking you say even if it’s just joking around it just makes them not want to come to the podcast anymore. Ethan… (and team) one of the key rules of comedy is you never target the victim, jesters targeted the king, it was the one chance they got to speak their truth, the whole CNN bit explains why you lose followers, it is the same issue with the Jeff situation, you don’t target the victim, comedy can still exist, it doesn’t have to be correct but it has to be aimed with smart comedy, there are basic principles in everything, including comedy… hope one of you reads this,… the applebees thing wasn’t funny and stressing “just sayin” when you spent years nailing Wendy for it shows such a big lack of self awareness…

My great grandmother was born in a beautiful village near Odesa and it was absolutely ruined during the war. She had many brothers which she never saw again, most likely they were killed. She was shipped to Germany where she had to work in some German house as a maid against her will. My grandma was born in Germany as a result of this while the war was still going on. My grandma died before I was born but for the first ten years of my life I would visit my great grandmother every couple of weeks. She would refuse to talk about her time in the war and she wouldn’t talk about her village. It breaks my heart that she saw so much destruction and death that it was too much to bear to talk about. I have no words to describe my feelings right now, it’s devastating to see this happening again and the war and destruction continue for a new generation. I send love to my Ukrainian brothers and sisters from Canada 🇨🇦 🇺🇦
With peace and love, this was one of the hardest episodes to watch in a long time. From Ethan continuously repeating the same bit and making fun of Jeff's friend, to the unfunny Ukraine jokes, to the chewing video... my god lol. Ethan you gotta know when to let off dude. I get he's trying to be funny, but quadrupling down on the same unfunny joke and throwing insults is not the way (especially towards potential guests). Wish the crew would push back a bit more
Ethan wouldn't be as successful as he is now on the pod if it were just him. The crew is what keeps it bearable these days. In all honesty I went from immediately clicking when an episode dropped to eventually watching, maybe. I'm having a really hard time being entertained by these pods now anymore.
Ethan immaturity is really starting to erode the show. Each week feels more and more like watching an episode of The Office but without any of the self awareness or satirical edge to make these unfortunate segments enjoyable to watch. I think its hypocritical that ethan blames jeff for keeping his mouth shut for David when ethan has literally done the exact same thing for trisha. Also he kept making fun of the "goon" and its really sad to see ethan keep making it seem like criminals cant change up their life. I know its a joke but when you ,make it 50 times in a span of 5 minutes it hard to know if thats how ethan genuinely feels or not. The poverty/crime life is not a joke and if you havent come from it the least you can do is show some respect for those who actively try and change their life around. David neglected to pay the hospital bill...It went to collections..Jeff's would of lost almost 100 points on his credit score, and it would show as a negative account on credit history..Also a collections account on his credit. That shit stays for 7 years...

Ethan is at his best when he’s being wholesome, real, standing up for good people, and bringing the harmless goofs and gaffs. It can start to feel really icky when he gets really insensitive just for a joke or zeroes in on something small instead of taking something in good faith (like when he couldn’t get off of Jeff’s friend). I’m not trying to tell anyone how to do their show, just some observations from a 7 year fan ✌🏼♥️

I think it was a multitude of things (most of the top comments talk about various things that bothered them a bit) and that’s why I made my comment about the general vibe. Edit #2: It's been 4 months and I am pleasantly able to say that I was wrong. Maybe it was the stress of a new baby and a covid scare that made me write this before but more importantly, I needed to not be so parasocial. It's hard as a longtime fan of the show and of Ethan not to get so caught up into their lives but I've learned my lesson. The content has been better than ever as of late and I am so here for it. Keep it up! The hard work is paying off! I'm not sure what's been up with Ethan lately but I think he needs to talk it through with a therapist because, whatever it is, it's leaking into the podcast. I think Ethan’s got to read the room a little more. When nobody’s laughing at your jokes about Ukraine, Wendy, Jeff and his co-host, and so on, someone’s got to step in. I appreciate Dan and AB stepping in sometimes, but Ethan can’t really cover himself for making jokes about a current invasion where people are dying and being displaced for no reason. Applebees is not an excuse. I love the show overall, but I think he’s just got to be a little more mindful.
I don’t disagree that he misses the mark sometimes but when you’re a comedian at heart the fact of the matter is there are times u gotta take risks. not every joke is gonna land. And humor is objective to boot. I personally thought the Applebee’s stuff was funny. I got hit by car at 65mph while I was overdosing had slits down my wrists and just got out of jail. I’ve been admitted to the psych ward 7 different times since the age of twelve years old (I’m 20). I’m able to make jokes about my trauma. Why can’t you all? I don’t get it. I get the shit hurts, I have epilepsy and experience severe muscle spasms daily related to my PTSD, but the only way to make it not hurt is to push through it and let yourself accept that it happened…it’s the only way. Jokes allow you to do this. I agree Ethan’s jokes suck and aren’t funny and that he definitely is a sheltered city boy. But god stop trying to tell people what they can and can’t say. Last I was in the psych ward people called me Cyborg cuz of the back brace, neck brace, leg brace, IV & computer system I was hooked up to. That shit was funny and all in good spirits. Y’all take things so harsh.

Yeah, I feel like Ethan has recently been building a reputation that if you come on his show you will be made fun of. I kind of see why Nick Avocado was nervous to come on because he expressed something like that. Does anyone remember the micropenis thing? Ever since then I haven't really liked him as much. David’s actions are unconscionable but in some ways, not surprising. I remember hearing similar stories. A woman’s face was completely burned when her then husband (or fiancé?) threw gasoline on the fire when camping. They broke up. Another woman’s face was completely burned when her then-boyfriend left the stove on with oil in a pan (so she mistakenly threw water on it to put out the fire). They broke up. Another woman ended up paralyzed after a friend pushed her into a pool and she suffered an injury to a spine. They were no longer on speaking terms. There must be a psychological phenomenon for why this occurs. Maybe the perpetrator feels tremendous guilt and seeing this person they’ve victimized brings back bad memories. They slowly drift away so they can “move on” quicker. Whereas staying through years/lifetime recovery process feels like the dreadful moment is never ending. The problem is that the victim doesn’t get to “just move on.” It’s cowardly. I wonder if there are studies on this.
Oh yes absolutely. My mom feels insanely guilty for what she has done to our family, she has expressed that to me, but has it let her face us for christmas? Absolutely not. She hasn't really let me help her help herself either because it seems to me thinking about it brings it back up although it's obviously what is making her feel so bad at this point that she should go through the valley because in reality she is already there but spends her life pretending she isn't, and in reality there are things she should be doing going ahead for closure and things that were not her fault. She only comes over or communicates when she admits to herself she has done terrible things and has a brief moment of wanting redemption that seems to be ever fleeting to her. It would be relatively simple to deal with these things and I have extended whatever help I can but I do not think she will ever actually do what she needs to. Still, she has done more than david.
I think in David’s case he sees it as “if I disappear from Jeff’s life, that will be the end, nobody will remember, including jeff” kind of like he’s running away or avoiding a crime . Im not sure David feels guilt like normal people do.
Very interesting. I'm going to see if there are any studies/theories on this. Your hypothesis is great and insightful. David Dubrik is very likely a sociopath, he exhibits every trait. His charisma and charm along with his recklessness and the way he speaks and laughs about the guy he paralyzed, the insane pranks he would pull, this with Jeff. When a socio/narc has nothing more to gain, its like they never knew you and they move on. And of course, blame the victim. Trisha is another example.

Like a few people have been commenting, Ethan needs to tone it down sometimes. It's like it'll be another Nikocado situation. That's proof right there that Ethan over does it. Sure they ended patching things up, but why'd they have to patch it up in the first place. I don't think Jeff will back out like Nik, but Ethan can be pretty insensitive at times. Like it is funny at first, but he always leans too into it is the problem. People find it funny once and then Ethan just runs with it for a while.
That’s my issue with Ethan too. He’ll say something SO FUNNY off the cuff but then realize someone laughed and ruin it and drag it out so long that it loses all it’s punch. He’ll also rip apart someone he barely knows or a situation he knows nothing about and again, he’ll drag it out far too long where you just feel embarrassed for him.

I love y’all so much, but hearing Ethan mocking Jeff and his friend while he’s finally revealing the truth about david was really frustrating. Ethan kept skipping some really good parts and AB was trying to tell him but he wasn’t patient enough. With peace and love, the Ukraine bit is extremely insensitive. Many of us have family and friends there. We don't know if we will ever see them again, not to mention all the people who already lost their lives. And personally, being from Israel, the air raid siren was extremely triggering. And after spending the last couple of days panicking over the lives of my family, and all Ukrainian people, this was very disheartening to see.
I know Ethan and the H3 crew are trying to provide some relief and comedy about the situation, but this is not the way, truly. I hope Ethan doesn't see this as "hate" or being "sensitive". He's shown time and time again his ability to be empathetic and learn from his mistakes, and I hope he does this time.

I agree. Been a fan of H3 for years but couldn't get into the podcast cause the pausing. Came back when he started one with trish & obviously stayed cause I noticed the pausing had stopped. He's gotten bad about it again. Sometimes it's nice cause I'm laughing along with em but exactly what you said. If it's a semi serious video the two second pausing is hard to follow along.

I actually agree with Jeff's friend - David did it on purpose, to the extent that David purposely swung much too fast and tried to cause an accident for the drama. David may not have 'purposely' tried to kill Jeff, but that's sort of irrelevant when it's obvious that David did swing extremely fast knowing it would cause an accident.
my thought process is that Karina had already tried it and David had swung her way too fast once already, and everyone could see that David purposely swung her way too fast. Karina even cursed David out and said "you always take things way too far" when she (thankfully) was able to get down unharmed from the rope after screaming at David to stop. everyone there knew David swung Karina too fast on purpose. IF it was an accident, David would have controlled speed on his second attempt with Jeff, but he didn't. He swung Jeff even faster than Karina. David definitely did it on purpose.
You can easily control speed on a digger. They're jerky when they move, but you can easily control the speed. There's a reason you don't see diggers moving extremely fast and swinging around like crazy on construction sites - because you have to actually try to get it to move that fast and be extremely irresponsible. A digger is not meant to move that quickly. In order to swing it that fast, you literally have to jam the lever as far as it will go and leave it there to build up speed. No one does that on accident at least twice, but more than likely dozens of times (since I assume David practiced using the digger before anyone got on the rope). David clearly did it on purpose, and Jeff absolutely needs to continue to snap out of it and sue. David has no friends. He does not see a single person he works with as a friend. He sees them as replaceable assets. Nothing more.

A person who could never withstand a impact like that. Even someone as muscled as Jeff took life changing damage. Karina is so incredibly thin because she's basically a model. I have Crohn's disease (an autoimmune disease with no cure), it is pretty closely related to IBS. Crohn's can affect people anywhere from their mouth to anus. It has given me the worst days of my life and a lot of times where I have contemplated whether or not I even wanted to continue. I have never been in more pain in my life and what makes it even harder to deal with was how often I felt terrible and in pain. Being barely able to sit in a chair most days due to pain and discomfort is hard. Especially when it seems like you have more days in pain then not. Being In and out of the hospital many times. I can totally empathize with Wendy.
That's not to say I don't have a laugh from time to time. Comedy is a good way to deal with problems. The borborygmi (gas and fluid noises from GI tract) are so loud that it sounds like a sewer system. However, being gassy is certainly still funny to me. I am definitely more comfortable around family, but at work borborygmi can be super embarrassing. Working from home during COVID has been one nice thing, but being more susceptible to COVID due to medication has been scary also.
If you think that Wendy's farts are loud or long you ain't heard nothing yet hah. I have farted very loudly for over 5 seconds many times. I haven't recorded or counted, but I bet I have reached 10 seconds before. I should try to record or count one time. Those times when I am going through a flare up that is subsiding and my pregnancy belly of gas starts to let loose, similar to after a colonoscopy, but much worse (they pump your intestines full of air to make sure they didn't cause any holes or damage and they wait until you pass gas to leave). It's not like gas is the only problem, only this past year have I been dealing with it at this level.
A lot of people deal with GI Issues that only have expensive treatments and no cure and it can be super debilitating (it can range from very mild to severe), has a ton of side effects, and can cause a ton of other complications. Anyway, hope this was in some way educational.

Some of y'all are'nt seeing the big picture by saying Jeff chose to get on. I agree, he is responsible for that decision, but everything after is on David. Take it from a certified collision technician who has multiple heavy machinery licenses. David lost the second he signed for the excavator. He accepted all liability when he rented it, not to mention the fact that he was the one operating it and there's video of him using ONE hand to drive at the exact moment the accident happened. There's a reason OSHA exists. I'm surprised the company he rented it from hasn't sued him (maybe because they are liable for letting someone take one whose not certified?) You're only allowed to operate it for certain conditions, none of which include putting it in a lake and swinging people around on it. Wouldn't even matter if he was licensed, which Im telling you right now there's no way he was because he'd know once you exceed maximum speed there's a fail safe set in to automatically stop it. And by paying his bills hes showing he assumed responsibility, which is why he probably stopped paying them. He's preparing for a lawsuit because he KNOWS Jeff has more than one leg to stand on.

My great grandmother was born in a beautiful village near Odesa and it was absolutely ruined during the war. She had many brothers which she never saw again, most likely they were killed. She was shipped to Germany where she had to work in some German house as a maid against her will. My grandma was born in Germany as a result of this while the war was still going on. My grandma died before I was born but for the first ten years of my life I would visit my great grandmother every couple of weeks. She would refuse to talk about her time in the war and she wouldn’t talk about her village. It breaks my heart that she saw so much destruction and death that it was too much to bear to talk about. I have no words to describe my feelings right now, it’s devastating to see this happening again and the war and destruction continue for a new generation. With peace and love, this was one of the hardest episodes to watch in a long time. From Ethan continuously repeating the same bit and making fun of Jeff's friend, to the unfunny Ukraine jokes, to the chewing video... my god lol. Ethan you gotta know when to let off dude. Ethan wouldn't be as successful as he is now on the pod if it were just him. The crew is what keeps it bearable these days. In all honesty I went from immediately clicking when an episode dropped to eventually watching, maybe. I'm having a really hard time being entertained by these pods now anymore.
Ethan immaturity is really starting to erode the show. Each week feels more and more like watching an episode of The Office but without any of the self awareness or satirical edge to make these unfortunate segments enjoyable to watch. They are just kinda disappointing.

Edit #2: It's been 4 months and I am pleasantly able to say that I was wrong. Maybe it was the stress of a new baby and a covid scare that made me write this before but more importantly, I needed to not be so parasocial. It's hard as a longtime fan of the show and of Ethan not to get so caught up into their lives but I've learned my lesson. The content has been better than ever as of late and I am so here for it. Keep it up! The hard work is paying off!
I'm not sure what's been up with Ethan lately but I think he needs to talk it through with a therapist because, whatever it is, it's leaking into the podcast. I got hit by car at 65mph while I was overdosing had slits down my wrists and just got out of jail. I’ve been admitted to the psych ward 7 different times since the age of twelve years old (I’m 20).
I’m able to make jokes about my trauma. Why can’t you all? I don’t get it. I get the shit hurts, I have epilepsy and experience severe muscle spasms daily related to my PTSD, but the only way to make it not hurt is to push through it and let yourself accept that it happened…it’s the only way. Jokes allow you to do this. I agree Ethan’s jokes suck and aren’t funny and that he definitely is a sheltered city boy.
But god stop trying to tell people what they can and can’t say.

Yeah, I feel like Ethan has recently been building a reputation that if you come on his show you will be made fun of. I kind of see why Nick Avocado was nervous to come on because he expressed something like that. Does anyone remember the micropenis thing? Ever since then I haven't really liked him as much. It was a small thing (no pun intended) but he went on and on one day on the pod about "how terrible it must be to have a micropenis" "what do you even do with your life" I was thinking damn if i had a micropenis and looked up to ethan rn i'd want to kms.... I'm very close to stop watching completely and I can't sit thru the whole pod anymore. Dude has a mean streak.

That’s why I think too. Literally whenever he does make an appearance he seems very stand offish and sarcastic but not even in a friendly or funny way, straight up sounds like he’s over him and the show I’m surprised I would barely see comments pointing that out in past videos. He could find something better with his credentials if anything so at least there’s that 🤷🏽♀️

David’s actions are unconscionable but in some ways, not surprising. I remember hearing similar stories. A woman’s face was completely burned when her then husband (or fiancé?) threw gasoline on the fire when camping. They broke up. Another woman’s face was completely burned when her then-boyfriend left the stove on with oil in a pan (so she mistakenly threw water on it to put out the fire). They broke up. Another woman ended up paralyzed after a friend pushed her into a pool and she suffered an injury to a spine. They were no longer on speaking terms. There must be a psychological phenomenon for why this occurs. Maybe the perpetrator feels tremendous guilt and seeing this person they’ve victimized brings back bad memories. They slowly drift away so they can “move on” quicker. Whereas staying through years/lifetime recovery process feels like the dreadful moment is never ending. The problem is that the victim doesn’t get to “just move on.” It’s cowardly. I wonder if there are studies on this.

My mom feels insanely guilty for what she has done to our family, she has expressed that to me, but has it let her face us for christmas? Absolutely not. She hasn't really let me help her help herself either because it seems to me thinking about it brings it back up although it's obviously what is making her feel so bad at this point that she should go through the valley because in reality she is already there but spends her life pretending she isn't, and in reality there are things she should be doing going ahead for closure and things that were not her fault.
She only comes over or communicates when she admits to herself she has done terrible things and has a brief moment of wanting redemption that seems to be ever fleeting to her.
It would be relatively simple to deal with these things and I have extended whatever help I can but I do not think she will ever actually do what she needs to. Still, she has done more than david.
I think in David’s case he sees it as “if I disappear from Jeff’s life, that will be the end, nobody will remember, including jeff” kind of like he’s running away or avoiding a crime . Im not sure David feels guilt like normal people do.

David Dubrik is very likely a sociopath, he exhibits every trait. His charisma and charm along with his recklessness and the way he speaks and laughs about the guy he paralyzed, the insane pranks he would pull, this with Jeff. When a socio/narc has nothing more to gain, its like they never knew you and they move on. And of course, blame the victim. Trisha is another example.

Imma be honest, if I was Jeff watching the segment of this podcast on his video, I would not wanna come onto the show, I would think Ethan would take everything as a joke and not give me the space to actually speak my mind, I hope I’m wrong but idk Ethan hyper focused way too much on everything but the issue. Like a few people have been commenting, Ethan needs to tone it down sometimes. It's like it'll be another Nikocado situation. That's proof right there that Ethan over does it. Sure they ended patching things up, but why'd they have to patch it up in the first place. I don't think Jeff will back out like Nik, but Ethan can be pretty insensitive at times. Like it is funny at first, but he always leans too into it is the problem. People find it funny once and then Ethan just runs with it for a while.
That’s my issue with Ethan too. He’ll say something SO FUNNY off the cuff but then realize someone laughed and ruin it and drag it out so long that it loses all it’s punch. He’ll also rip apart someone he barely knows or a situation he knows nothing about and again, he’ll drag it out far too long where you just feel embarrassed for him.
100% agree. I would love to see the interview with Jeff but Ethan's gotta take a more serious approach I think.
