Amazing. The iridescents under the black are GORGEOUS. I am so happy I found your channel. Your work is in a class of its own. Thank you for sharing your art with us.
Really intriguing. Love the energetic halo affect. The cells are amazing. Can go so many ways with perspective. At first I was imaging some of the Inuit paintings of birds, ancient and powerful, and then was reminded of a sea creature riding the waves, and then yes, the northern lights.
Just beautiful! I've just begun to watch your videos and I quickly became a huge fan! I'm going to attempt a hide and reveal tomorrow on a lazy susan and I can only hope it turns out as awesome as your's always do! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and ideas with us Jessica.
Thank you so much and welcome! It's always good to do a little test first. Especially to see if your faux pillow is opaque enough. Have fun and let me know if you have any questions!
Studying all your videos. Your explanations make your intentions clear and you are such an inspiration to me. All your art is amazing. Thank you for posting these magical masterpieces❤ (as well as the ones you don’t like and why😊).
Wieder eine fantastische Farbkombinationen, Jessica❣. Echt MEGA. Die Technik ist der Wahnsinn. Was da geniales bei rauskommt 😍. Die coolen Schatten und die Zellen und die kleinen, zarten Punkte/ Sternchen. Wow. Ich bin total begeistert. MEHR davon bitte. Liebe Grüße aus Deutschland 🇩🇪
I love this technique and I've been trying to find a video from start to beginning exactly how you do it. I thought you layer your white house paint then your colors and then a black acrylic paint over it then you're swiping colors. I so love all this art you do like this it turns out so gorgeous. Wow I'm just speechless over your art. 😮😮😮😮❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
You and I had the same word come to mind. Magical. You should try this style (I have, I'm obsessed) just start out with a small one until you get comfy. I almost think Jessica's favorite part is the experimenting she did to get here (though I have no right to speak for her lol - it just seems to come through her personality.)
Sorry I didn't scroll down far enough and see your pouring medium I am the behr 8300 Splash Jo Sonja . I'm digging this technique. Every one of these videos I've watched are just breathtaking. And I grew up going to California all my life and as an adult find La Habra , brea , clear down the Menifee Temecula had family down there for so many years and fortunately they're all gone now. And I'm in Kansas , so don't think I'll be making it that way or I would love to take your courser !!!❤❤❤
Makes me think of a black swan 🦢 when it was wet the black area was shifting to so many beautiful colors I couldn't tell if they were still visible when dry or not since the black is opaque I expect they aren't very visible now only the ones you swiped and pulled out, I've been calling this the peekaboo effect lol i love this technique so much and how creative you are im so glad jodie flynn got me to watch some of your videos ❤ great work as always Hun ❤️💜💛
Wow! Obsessed with the lines and how crisp and fine they are. The watery transparent swirls of the gorgeous blues in this painting are awesome and pop against the other bright colors. That one little blue cell against the black just gives it such a joyful personality. This painting ROCKS Jessica! Have a great weekend.
Oh gosh, look at those cells, absolutely love the colours and the flow is just perfect, and that colourshift is amazing... Love it. 😍 Ps. In Denmark the paint is quite thick, and when I thin it down, it gets watery and is not stretching very well, so I'vw started to add some acrylic paint to make it more creamy. Hope I'll get it to work properly. 😊🤞
JESSICA. Omg. I wish I could have spent WAY more hours with you in Vegas!!! This piece is magical how do you get the colors to appear through the black??
Me too! It was so full with work and obligations and all I want is to hang with you guys! The colors get revealed with the swipe on top. And then the stretching thinns the layers so the colors can shine through. (I just at this second got the notification you starting to be a patreon! Thank you so much!!!!)
Right?? I took TWO of her classes in Seattle and I would take them again in a second! I learned more in those two classes with her than in the whole 6 months before.
Hi Jessica, Hoping you and your family are doing ok (8-20-23) during this tropical storm. Forgive me, I didn't know a quicker way to get in touch to let you know how much love you and your creativity. Take special care this weekend.
Beautiful, as always! I love the Northern Lights! I have a couple of questions if you don’t mind, Jessica. When you apply your colours with a spreader are you touching the canvas. It is hard to see on the videos. Also, do you do anything to prepare a canvas before reusing it? Thank you for your time.
I took the Shelly art course and I still dabble in Dutch pours only then two bag of 1 pearlescent paint actually turned out better than I expected. I'd love to know the consistency and mixture of pain she put down if they're mixed for the bloom? And then the black is how it's mixed up and the consistency and what p.m. you're using. Are all the colors mix like the recipe the behr and the Jo sonja? Is that your p.m. ? Thanks so much for sharing this video. 😮😮😮🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤😊

Thanks so much for being here, Kelli!
Love the contrasting colors. The composition has a watercolor effect.
Jessica you are onto something amazing! I love this so much and will give it a go! You’re an amazing artist! ❤❤
Those colors are magnificent. What a beauty
These colors are my jam! LOVE LOVE LOVE
Aren't they fun?! I'm slowly warming up to greens
This is absolutely gorgeous! I love it!
So glad! Thank you, Judy!
Simply astonishing. All the depth!
So pretty! Looks backlit and spacey! 💛💛💛
Mais que c’est beau! Merci de ce cadeau Jessica. Love😘

love the see thru colors
Me too! ❤️

Jessica, your work is bold! It's different! I am fascinated by the process! I lived hanging with you and some of my favorite people at Pour Con!!
Those turquoise cells blew me away 💓
Aren't they awesome?
Honestly, it's one of my favorites so far, and that's saying a lot!!
Awesome as always I really dig this one ❤

What a gorgeous painting!!
I'm loving this technique! I'm going to have to try it. It's so magical how the colours come to life and this selection of colours is beautiful 😍

Your work is so magical. I’m very very new at acrylic pouring so I’m not good enough to try your style but maybe someday. Thank you for sharing 😊
You've got this. Its hard at first but you'll get better the more you do it. And it's so much fun

Oh Jess!! These colors are gorgeous together. I love how the foggy look between them ebb and flow! Stunning
Once again an absolutely amazing artwork. Your pouring skills Jessica are definitely great👍🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😘
So luscious.
Your so talented🤗

Hi Jessica, it's Margie, I met you at the Morrobay Art in the Park. You do such beautiful Art!!!❤
Exquisite 😮

I love the tiny cells popping, too. They're the cutest. Thank you so much

WÓW❤❤❤😮!!!
While I love the entire composition, I’m always drawn to the shadows of the paints. So ethereal. I want to take a class…soon 🙂
Nice!
Thanks, Beck! Awww, I need more time with you next time!
WoW again just love these paintings
Can you use house paint for the faux cover ?
👏👏👏🌹

Oh , May I ask what size canvas you usually use ? Thanks again hun . 😘
What is the faux pillow on top made of? Acrylic paint and your medium, house paint, ect?
Yes, exactly, It's mixed like my other colors. although I started adding a squirt of fluid acrylics to darken it more without thickening it up
That piece was quite nice. The Glidden eggshell, is that a flat or semi gloss? Just curious, new to this.
It’s eggshell. You can also do satin but not shinier. The consistency seems to be different in different sheens
@@WinterStromArt Thanks, I haven't tried house paint yet. I'm never sure which to get.
I'll give that a try ; )
I bought Australian floetrol. Is it just for cells or can I add to my paints also??? I'm confused
You have to mix it with paints. Check out my recipe video, that might answer some questions

Can you’re pillow paint be in gloss or satin please
Usually the glossier the thinner the paints are. That’s why I use eggshell or satin. You’ll have to try and see…
Thanks Jessica I will give it a go!!
