Beautiful mums! After they are finished blooming you can plant them in your garden area or front yard. They will come back next year and bloom again for many many years.
Oh I would love going to this place, the food looks amazing & the people are so friendly.of course my dogs would have had to come too.Looks a lovely place for a holiday 👍🏻🇺🇸🇬🇧
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ The foods looked delicious, especially that fried blueberry pie 😋. I just brought some organic maple syrup (by Brad's) and one from Canadian Maple. Yum ! 😋 I plan to make some chocolate chip pancakes and vanilla flavored Churros with melted organic Mexican chocolate. 😋 Y'all look so wiped out. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 But had a lot of fun. Thanks for taking us along with y'all. I enjoyed watching and smiling all the way. ❤❤❤
I used to do paper crafts and sold them at arts and craft shows. I mostly did Christmas and Fall shows when it wasn't so hot. Some were indoors, which was good in case the weather changed. Like Jess said, some people thought they were overpriced, not realizing how much time was involved. Over the yesrs, I saw more and more commercial and "home sales" booths (Scentsy, water filters Egyptian cotton sheets, etc) that people were flocking to ... and, IMHO, ... overpaying for. When I hurt my back, I couldn't sit for very long at one time, so I gave it up. I'm gradually going through and getting rid of things, but I would love to get back into making some things for gifts.
Exactly 💯 Do what you love to do where you won't be worried about aches and pains and the costs to make it. I love painting. But I do it when I feel like doing it. If I were to sell it, the artwork will not be appreciated. And guess what, I don't care. The fact that I accomplished my expression with oils, and someone else interpreted my artwork and want it, I don't care the cost. I'll accept what they think it's worth. Because I love painting and drawing.i love my arts. ❤❤❤
@Lady_A.R I met ... and still keep in touch with a couple at an arts and craft show in AR (I was visiting, not selling). He did woodturning (which I had never seen before), and I was fascinated by some of his creations. I was particularly drawn to one piece, and even though I did gulp at the price, I gladly paid it after hearing him explain the process. The next year, I went back (visiting relatives) and found them again. They said they had hoped we would come back ( she and my stepmother hit it off). I always found something to buy and was gifted a few items that he was trying out. We accepted their invitation to visit them and see his workshop. I could hear the love for his work as he explained how he went about the process. That's what made them special. He had to retire, but I still cherish my collection of his work.
@@danniemcdonald7675 That in itself is absolutely worth every ounce of metals. You having that contact with the artists is a fabulous history. It's like being seated next to your great great grandparents. The stories they can tell us equates to seeing artworks by famous sculpturists and painters. Fantastic ! I know there are many out there in Arizona and New Mexico. I used to be in contact with a favorite southwestern painter. I brought a number of her lithographs. I couldn't afford her oil paintings after losing my jobs on Wall Street. But at least for a few years I kept up with her and have a few of her works and one special work by her recommendation which today is a collectible. Keep on treasuring those fantastic artworks and memories. 🤗
Hello Danno and Jess! You should go to Waynesville Ohio next weekend. Sauerkraut Festival (they have lots more than sauerkraut to eat lol.) BUT they are all crafters artists and selling things hand made. They don’t sell things like a flea market. Their little shops are open too and they’ll have live music. I suggest getting there as they open though so you can park close. We go every year and they shut the whole of Main Street down for it. Several blocks worth of wares. Have a great week!!
Thank you both for the awesome trip I miss doing those kinds of things love the Amish items and the way they dress I love the flowers and ya I make the fruit turnovers to so good with the glaze, I don't fry them because I had to cut down on my fats but baking them is still really tasty LOL Halloween foot ball kinda scary, Love the idea of the train, I do have a cotton candy maker never used oops, I will buy a lb of each meat to take home for sure, I would love the Scooby-Doo towel for the pool, also a slice of the butter bread yum! The chicken on the stick yes please thank you this was fun hi to your family to. have a good nap.
Just wanna say we need to pray for the people in Florida looking like a category four and just wanted to know if you’re gonna go to big lots to say goodbye to the store before they go out of business
I'm a quilter and people definitely don't want to even pay for the materials, let alone the skills necessary to make the quilt. Sad, so I give mine to people I care about.
Nice video. Warm Glow Candles in Centerville, IN is a favorite of mine, on the few times I have been through Indiana. Nice to see a video about something besides hurricanes/panic buying/doom. Thank you for this.
I lived in Indiana for 20 years and I never been since I moved from Cincinnati but I believe I have been one time when I was younger about 17 years old.
❤😂 I love seeing all your videos and what a beautiful day 😍 ❤️. I just wanted to let you know that yesterday on Saturday 05. My sister took me to Sam's club and our Sam's club had toilet paper and paper towels and the mane thing I wanted to get the dogs wee wee pads, the members Mark multipurpose Absorbent pads 120 count 😊 I got 6 boxes got to stock up for winter they seem to not have them in during the winter season and my dog is indoor trained. And I need all year round and this year I'm going to stock up before there gone until spring season. Thank you for all your videos. From Milwaukee Wisconsin. 👋 😊❤.
I live in Cincinnati too and have been to Canal Days several times. Funny story, the first time I went I was so dumb, I thought the canal was just a big ditch lol😂
I love the Amish! They are such hard workers! Several years ago, my husband and I went to visit some friends who live in Ohio. They took us to several shops and the merchandise was of the best quality! We also went to a winery, and we got samples of wine for 25 cents a shot! They also sell houseware items, bacon, and cheese.
We went to Metamora almost a decade ago and did the canal boat ride. We were told by the tour guide that this area was being decimated by Meth and Fentanyl. Is this still a problem there?
Very awesome relaxing video. Thank you 😊
Really enjoyed this,a nice break from the crazy in are world.💐🤗💐
That looks like a lot of fun! Thanks for taking us with you!😎
I love flea markets but am now unable to go so I’m loving this video

Thank you for saying this....we need to keep all those already dealing with Helene and future storms in prayer. So many lives already gone.
why would people live there (FL)? Comes a point I don't feel sorry for them. No place is perfect, but come on...
@@owlout1👍
Mums are perennials, plant them and they will come back every year. I have one that is 20 yrs old.
Agree with Jessica regarding crafters. Unfortunately people don't want to pay for all the time & effort that is put into crafts.
I'm a quilter and people definitely don't want to even pay for the materials, let alone the skills necessary to make the quilt. Sad, so I give mine to people I care about.
