I'm pretty sure that the term was coined by some feller at Kitsune - to describe them - they openly embraced the term until it was adopted by the mainstream. Fair enough if you like them, you like them, and if you don't, you don't - but c'mon - they don't come much more hypocritical than the NME, thats something that no one can deny...
i once read nme however i stopped when it became bullshit (about 4 years ago) sorry if i offended you. My opinion on the matter does not seem to be shared on this particular page. By any chance do you own any glowsticks. Merry xmasxx
it's not just about nme it's about this whole part of the music industry. what they do isn't what music should be about. this whole competing-each-other-charts-and-prizes shit. music should connect the people and you can't connect with competing and rivalling.
cliched scenesters? Does anybody talk like that apart from contrived middle class NME writers. Your campaign to get the Sex Pistols to number one didn't do very well did it - shows that NME has no relevance anymore on popular culture.
Don't get me wrong, i like the Klaxons. But saying they deserved to win over winehouse because they made a "Forward thinking record", in a genre that uses the word "Rave" to describe itself. C'mon wtf? They're a pack of indie chancers.
lmao @ the presenter laughing at 2:32.
Ok, Portugal. The man

When music was music
haha, i owned some
but they ran out of glow :(
I think Mr Miller may have been a bit "compromised"...
it's like the newsreaders are proud of being total squares
haha! despite being sh*t, they made me laugh by being pilled up
Not average? The Beatles.
Chillax dude, I'm entitled to my own opinions and if you don't agree then fair enough.
Tut tut. They could have at least waited until after the awards before they took MDMA.
