Thanks for sharing. I'm glad to see you have your priorities straight, wi-fi first then provisioning. I don't think I have ever known two people who smile so much and seem so happy. Your videos always brighten my day. 🐢🐢🐢🐷🐷🐷🍦🍦
I have been following you since seeing you on TV buying your first RV. Your videos inspired me to buy an RV and live the nomadic life while travel nursing. I love your adventures...good and not so good. And I love your positive attributes through it all. Keep the videos coming.
I LOVE you guys. I am sitting here in cold blustery rain, watching your sailing videos. I have also been following your RV videos since the beginning. You guys are so smart and adventurous and these videos are so well done.. Anyone who is nasty to guys is just jeleous... but you guys do WORK very hard as well.
You two have gotten your sailing chops in order, and look confident out on the water. It's great to see Curiosity cruising along so gracefully. Very Well Done! The ice cream sequence was golden. Can it really get any better than that?! Thanks for showing us so much of your new life. It looks like a blast. Good Vibrations
Ice cream and sailing... the first I have seen to combine the two... You guys are indeed living the good life! Hope to see you someday out on the waters! Tis my dream too! Thanks for sharing!
You two always make me smile! You seem to be made for each other and that is a rare commodity these days. Keep those smiles coming and best luck in all your adventures.
So happy you guys are traveling around the Abacos, it's like a little trip down memory lane! And thanks for correcting the Cay to "Key" when describing the Whale Cay passage. Pet peeve of mine ;)
As much as Nikki *LOVES* her ice cream...if you ever sail down to Grenada, you have to find "Power" ice cream. I still have dreams about it. Guinness Stout ice cream with salted peanuts and swirls of chocolate. A sweet, bitter, salty, creamy, chocolaty, crunchy slice of *heaven*!
You guys are the coolest! We can't wait to get our boat (probably not till May, '17) and meet you face to face. We've seen your whole series and loved all of it. You're excellent videographers and seem like - a load of - fun sailors! Keep 'em comin'. Scott and Arlia.
You guys are paddling away from the piggies, and I'm like...waaaaaaait a minute... They have to go back and get that camera! But for a minute y'all had me!
HI Jason and Nikki! Thank you for all the videos you two put together and upload for us. I have to say that you seem to make such a team! Jason, from one guy to another, you lucked out in finding Nikki! She seems so upbeat and such an equal partner in the relationship. Nikki, same goes for you! Its obvious that Jason adores you. You guys give me hope that a couple can work together to reach common goals and dreams...without killing each other! HA HA.
It's nice to know you guys are experiencing heaven. More importantly that you're bringing that slice of heaven to me! Fantastic photos with colors of the Caribbean. I want some more please?
just starting to watch this channel and I excited I have 3+ years of content to get through. Really cool couple and I love they are starting in the Bahamas where I spent many years.
You guys seriously need to make them vids longer....we really enjoy watching and I am very envious, keep up the wonderful content you guys and take care!!!
Great to see you enjoying our favourite cruising grounds of the Bahamas! Distant ShoresTV filmed there on a number of visits and still plan to return again on our next cruise! Fair Winds Guys!
I thought about leaving since it was Rv's that lead me to you guys! I watched every video, some several times. Your RV info was fun and very informative. I have really enjoyed the "Salty" version of your travels. Great fun and will keep following you. Love the Food and Dining when you show it! Thanks for the fun videos!
Beautiful piggies guys - hey - if they were in Australia they would more than likely be targets for the 223. But so wonderful that you can be friendly with super friendly piggies =)
New subscriber here, after being recommended :) What lovely vlogs a visual delight! They spirit me away for a while from my dreary night shifts in England lol! Lots to catch up on :) I wish you all the fun in the world on your journeys. Thanks for taking us along! x
its been a long time planning, but i am working my way to this! I can't wait to leave the other world behind in my wake! hope to see you all out there and stop following you on you tube , because ill be following you on the open water in real life!
That water is incredible! I've never seen water that color. Love it!🤗 your bathing suits are so pretty and look nice on you. As my mom used to say, she has a nice little figure on that one😂💕
I love watching your videos! I found you guys when you were still in the RV and I ended up buying my own (Forest River Georgetown 328TS) after seeing how much fun you guys were having. I retired from the military last year and I spent about 5 months (and 15,000 miles) on the road (VA, NC, SC, GA, FL, TX, AZ, NM, NV) before I started my second career earlier this year. My initial retirement plan was to live aboard a sailboat, but that dream was put on the back burner, however after seeing all your latest videos, I plan on signing up for some sailing lessons once it warms back up here in the Maryland area. After I earn my ASA 101 - 108 & 110 certifications, i'll look into completing ASA 114 and 118. Ideally, I would like to be able to purchase my own boat and do a circumnavigation of the world when I retire from my second career in a few more years - of course I will be searching for opportunities to gain experience by looking for people that want crewmembers on other boats and chartering my own in the interim. Keep the excellent videos coming. Fair winds and following seas and long may your big jib draw!
Whenever I see these pigs I always want to put it on my bucket list. That is until I see them having a dump in the water as people walk through it barefoot! Lol, I suppose nothing can be perfect. It seems so long ago when you announced that you was going to stop rv'ing and take up sailing, nice one guys.
Kind of like the crowded anchorages of the Caribbean where they recommend not swimming in the water due to human waste be dumped by 100's of boats. I'd much rather swim with the pigs and maybe have 30 pigs pooping in the water that is flushed away with the current than a anchorage with very little current and 100 boats dumping human waste daily.
We did to stay overnight too. When you have to go around whale Cay, I believe, stay away from the island once in the atlantic because of very strong currents. Your gps should indicate the proper road.
Cookies AND ice cream while sailing. That is just too far. There isn't a shade of green with enough depth necessary to match our envy. I am so glad we stumble on to you guys. Your videos offer so much incentive to move forward with our plans. Piggy Island looked so cool. Did you see SV Doodles while you were there? Was that them in your video?! Keep doin' what you do. We'll see you out there soon.
Jealous... Counting down the days until I am doing what you are doing, except I'll be on the other side of the world and doing lots of scuba diving off our catamaran. Go Wynns!
Gone with the Wynns ... awesome filling special with your reply, thanks. it seems you guys are in a treasure hunt mates... kool Nassau pirate island (black sail)... lol ... good luck.
Big thums up for all your vids.. realy pure and good people you are.. but sailing is zig zagging.. hope i say it right..haha.. never a strait line... greeds from Holland... watching your vids for the second time ..forget to put thumbs up ..now i do...
Really? That sounds scary. I'm not a drinker or ever been on a boat, but I'm curious...was it easier to give up sailing than drinking? I don't mean any rudeness...just a curious soul. Cheers to you🤗
Laurie and I eat a lot of vegetables and we were wondering is it difficult for you to find first vegetables on these remote Islands? Looks like you eat very healthy foods. Thank you Jerry and Laurie Brown
Some sailing advice: you don't move the jib car forward for close haul sailing. You move the car to adjust the shape of the jib. It is a fairly complex sailing skill that you I am sure you will learn over time.

Thanks :) It is a labor of love but it's nice when people are also nice :)
You're welcome :)
You two have gotten your sailing chops in order, and look confident out on the water. It's great to see Curiosity cruising along so gracefully.
Very Well Done!
The ice cream sequence was golden. Can it really get any better than that?!

Thanks for sharing another great video. Really enjoy watching the boat out on the water, it's always my favorite part.
Ice cream and sailing... the first I have seen to combine the two... You guys are indeed living the good life! Hope to see you someday out on the waters! Tis my dream too! Thanks for sharing!
I wish we could have a video like this every day... but that would kill the expectation and would overload you guys. Keep posting!
Man, those pigs have it good! And that water looked just fantastic for SUP. Nice!
As an artist I don't think I'd ever put my sketchbook down if I was you guys. Too many beautiful things!
Excellent sailing weather, free lobster, almost free ham ... cool adventure. Stay safe and thanks for sharing.
Hey y'all. you need a ice cream churn. Happy trails: )
You two always make me smile! You seem to be made for each other and that is a rare commodity these days. Keep those smiles coming and best luck in all your adventures.

Guinness Stout ice cream with salted peanuts and swirls of chocolate. A sweet, bitter, salty, creamy, chocolaty, crunchy slice of *heaven*!
Sounds devine :)
you ever consider making your own ice cream
Roraigh Price I was just thinking that but is all dairy expensive in the Caribbean
Beautiful! I have always wanted to see the swimming piggies! What a blessed life you have! :)
Thank you ! Love watching you guys sail !!! Looks like so much FUN !!!
Nikki is literally the cutest thing ever with her love of ice cream lol.
Yea! Two videos practically back to back! You two could be models for a sailboat company. It is minus 35 here today so thanks for this! :)
oh man, minus 35 sounds really cold :) or wait :(
HI Jason and Nikki! 100% lucked out for sure. i'm so lucky to have her :)
Cool to see how far you've come from the day you took the cats for a walk and announced your decision to go sailing.
It's nice to know you guys are experiencing heaven. More importantly that you're bringing that slice of heaven to me! Fantastic photos with colors of the Caribbean. I want some more please?
If you've clicked over to our site there's lots more :)
You two make such a great team! Very much enjoy your beautiful videos, thanks. Oh, hope you found the rum!
Living the life! Great to see things like this, shows what a big and beautiful world it is out there.
Lucky you guys with the weather. I currently have a foot of snow on the ground.
And Jason - those shorts are a crime against humanity. :P
just starting to watch this channel and I excited I have 3+ years of content to get through. Really cool couple and I love they are starting in the Bahamas where I spent many years.
Your videos just get better and better! The camera really likes you both! Great Job!
Oh those piggies are so cute! Safe sailing guys :-)
You guys seriously need to make them vids longer....we really enjoy watching and I am very envious, keep up the wonderful content you guys and take care!!!
Ps will you be headed to the east coast of Canada sometime ?
Who knows where the seas will take us. We would love to head north for some PEI mussels :)
Hey! I'm from the north east. Ct. to be exact. You probably don't want to head up this way for a few months... LOL BRRRRR
Maybe I'm crazy, but you both seem more relaxed now than on your trip to Alaska. Thanks for bringing us along for the fun.
that was an awesome vid.. beautiful day, sun, piggies, and ice cream!
Such peaceful scenery. Thanks for sharing.
Love the varied camera angles while you're sailing! You two are definitely living the life. You definitely need a ice cream churn! Safe travels!
Thank you again for a great show.
Cheers from Sweden
It's cold and snowing here in UK, your videos bring a ray of ☀️ sunshine in to our grey days, keep em coming 😎
Looks like you're living the dream! Enjoying all the videos!
By the way, the girl running away from the pig was hilarious!
Yea, I cracked up every time i watched that clip.
She shared her ice cream?....What did you have to do Jason?...must have been a honey-do attached to that! lol
Great to see you enjoying our favourite cruising grounds of the Bahamas! Distant ShoresTV filmed there on a number of visits and still plan to return again on our next cruise! Fair Winds Guys!
We watched a few of your vids on the area that are available on YT, such a wonderful place to cruise.
Great! I'm sure you'll have a great cruise. We look forward to seeing your episodes!
I thought about leaving since it was Rv's that lead me to you guys! I watched every video, some several times. Your RV info was fun and very informative. "Life is so hard" haha you two make it look too easy.
One of your best video ! The only thing missing is a couple of Drone shots :) Well done
Can't remember a video where you both are chilling right out at anchor and near all day. great fun Cheers.
+derrick felix thanks man!
its been a long time planning, but i am working my way to this! I can't wait to leave the other world behind in my wake! hope to see you all out there and stop following you on you tube , because ill be following you on the open water in real life!

Thank you so much Natalie! I hope we can share a sundowner out here one day.

I second the Cuba trip. Marina Hemmingway!
well nikki, i always thought you were cute, but for some reason in this video you really are adorable. thanks for making an old man's day.
We did to stay overnight too.

Great video... I'm glad we get to come along on the journey. Where are you going to head to next ????
next video will be Marsh Harbour then Hope Town.
Gone with the Wynns
Is the Google map location thing on your website delayed at all?
Piggies, Cats, and Ice cream with cookies. Tough to beat that.
Nicely done.
Jealous... Counting down the days until I am doing what you are doing, except I'll be on the other side of the world and doing lots of scuba diving off our catamaran. Go Wynns!
awe mein.. I was hoping to see what rum you guys were looking for... I guess till next episode... keep it coming guys... =) =) ÷)
We didn't find it yet. it's called JAB and it is fantastic. We're heading to Nassau and hopefully we'll get some there.
Gone with the Wynns ... awesome filling special with your reply, thanks. it seems you guys are in a treasure hunt mates... kool Nassau pirate island (black sail)... lol ... good luck.
Great job keep the good spirit.
Great job again guys.
Big thums up for all your vids.. realy pure and good people you are.. but sailing is zig zagging.. hope i say it right..haha.. never a strait line... greeds from Holland... watching your vids for the second time ..forget to put thumbs up ..now i do...
Days like that were the reason i had to quit sailing. I would drink way too much beer and fall overboard and stuff. not fun.
Really? That sounds scary. I'm not a drinker or ever been on a boat, but I'm curious...was it easier to give up sailing than drinking? I don't mean any rudeness...just a curious soul. Cheers to you🤗
smart to be cautious of whale ! keep up the great work guys
The wind chill here this morning is -41C.......sigh.
oh man, I'm sorry. It's 70 and windy here and we're complaining, guess it puts it in perspective :)
I think RV ing is Fun and have watching you trough the transition. I myself find sailing BORING and leave Now.
Yar... Tis difficult to radio in when you're on the bottom of the ocean.
wow first one to watch. I hope ya'll are having a good time and keep up the videos. stay safe and go to Cuba!
Shannon Mcafee
Sorry I was, I put up post then realise I mist spelt something and had to come back and that's when you came on. Sorry
Great... now I want some ice cream..
Laurie and I eat a lot of vegetables and we were wondering is it difficult for you to find first vegetables on these remote Islands? Looks like you eat very healthy foods. Thank you Jerry and Laurie Brown
+Jerry Brown travels We've been able to to alright so far but sometimes you don't get exactly what you were looking for. Gotta stay flexible.
What a beautiful day.
Some sailing advice: you don't move the jib car forward for close haul sailing. You move the car to adjust the shape of the jib. It is a fairly complex sailing skill that you I am sure you will learn over time.
You rely on the map that you have in the Ipad. that is the Garmin set up? How is connected?
Thanks for your always interesting videos!!
It uses the GPS in the iPad. We link to these items at the bottom of the post on our website.
Looks like the life! I would be interested in what your daily, weekly maintenance or chores are for the boat.
There are too many to list and too many we aren't able to keep up with. We will share this info in the future as we get a realistic grasp of what we can and can't do.
Thanks for continuing the awesome videos. When you stop and anchor, is there normally a fee to stop at these different locations?
That is the beauty, it's almost always free to drop the hook.
Hope you're keeping a journal, for a future book.
We are, it's our website www.gonewiththewynns.com where we share written stories, thoughts, opinions and photographs.
Just subscribed. I have had a lot of success as a fairly young serial entrepreneur at age 33. I have come to learn negative people will arrive when success comes, but I love your positivity toward it.
Quick question: will you ever take the boat to the South Pacific? Fiji, Bora Bora etc
+ryan ford of course the South Pacific is on the must do list
Just saw a great shot of both cats so disregard the question 😂
You need to do what I did. Mount a CCTV camera to your mast that looks forward. I spot coral heads and sand bars even at night (infrared). My camera hooks up to my chart plotter. I can even add additional displays. With a 55' tall rig, I get a spectacular view.
Camera cost? -$50
What do they mean "no name"? That should be Bacon Cay...
haha :)
I have been told by several friends that catamarans, in particular, the production ones, don't sail very well. Well, your boat is sure nimble and putting those friends and that idea to shame !! I wanna ride on your boat.⛵️⚓️⛵️⚓️
NIce video guys, I enjoyed it.
Love your swimsuit, Jason! Is it J.Crew? You guys both always look great.
+caddyzig Wow - usually Nikki gets all the compliments, so thanks! I don't see a tag on it, so no idea. Buy most of my stuff from Target or H&M if that helps.
Love your videos! Nikki, where do you find all your great swimsuits??
Kristen B Thanks! You'll probably be disappointed, but we are big bargain shoppers and most everything for me comes from H&M, Target, or TJ Maxx. I think one of my suits might be from Nordstrom Rack. They are all a couple seasons old so I can't really remember - sorry!
Gone with the Wynns no problem - just wanted to know where to start looking when we're in the USA next month. Love all your suits!
Knowing you were born in Arkansas, I’m disappointed you didn’t linger on that nice “Hog Heaven” sign a little longer!! 🤣
Nikki, has anyone mentioned yet that you can make pretty good "ice cream" by freezing puréed bananas? It might be a little cheaper than buying pre made and might be easier to find
+Kimbercat SC sadly, Nikki is allergic to bananas. However, I do see making ice cream in our future. :)
Nice sailing!
hey, can you guys make a tour of your boat? i wanna see it
coming soon, very soon :)
