This video shows the new tunnel that runs between Stavanger and Tau in Ryfylke, it opened on December 30, 2019.
It has been named Ryfulketunelen.
This and 2 other tunnels were built under the name Ryfast with construction start in 2013.
The Ryfast tunnel itself is submerged, to be exactly 291 m underwater.
Its length is 14.4 km

there are no tolls on this road for the rest of the year. there is only autopass payment after the year is over.

That's fascinating, but it scares me a little bit too. What will happen in a case of an accident? Or, when water from the fjord above breaks in. 🤔

@@MrNicetux The tunnel is built to withstand extremely strong forces. Even if tanker would crash and explode the tunnel would still stand strong.
