@BeatTheBushDIY I think what he means is the difference in length. It says longer, but a wire where the cables are twisted the internal cables are longer than the length you measured with a tape. So it might be more accurate than you think. You should test it on untwisted cables.

Which measurement function are you saying measures the 'twsts of the pairs'? The wire finder function?
