Dr Anne-Marie Imafidon MBE is installed as Chancellor of Glasgow Caledonian University

  • Dr Anne-Marie Imafidon MBE, a trailblazer in business, mathematics and technology, was installed as the new Chancellor of Glasgow Caledonian University during the graduation ceremony on Tuesday 2 July.
    Dr Imafidon became the youngest girl to pass A-level computing at 11, and earned a Master’s from Oxford at 20. Accoladed as Young IT Professional of the Year (2013), she received an MBE in 2017 for services to women in STEM. As Stemettes co-founder, she has inspired more than 60,000 youths across UK/Europe into STEM roles. Deemed most influential UK woman in tech (2020), she advances women in technology.
    She replaces Dr Annie Lennox as the Chancellor of Glasgow Caledonian University.
