Can these be used for road or everyday use as well? I do both trail and cement running. Last time I had some Solomon and wore out the bottom faster then normal road shoes.

To be honest we would limit the amount of road work that the Hoka One One Speedgoat sees, the outsole material is formulated for maximum grip on the trail and could wear prematurely. What’s the difference between the regular speedgoat, the GTX, and the Evo?
Hi and thanks for watching! The GTX indicates that the shoe incorporates GoreTex, which makes them water resistance. The EVO designation means the shoe gets a durable, Kevlar-infused upper. That extra techy material comes at a premium, but it's hydrophobic so it won't absorb much water on sloppy trails and river crossings. Did one short run in these on a trail after rainfall. My first were soaked after a few puddles. Is this normal?
Sorry to hear, that's not typical unless your getting water in through the ankle area which is completely possible.
Definitely over marketed trainer grip of sole is only redeeming quality, you couldn't even give me a pair again!
