    I might try this. Never had much luck with woad.
    I saved my homemade blazer using techniques I learned on this channel. I scorched the natural cotton with a dirty iron,so I mixed up some madder dye,but didnt want it bright pink so I added some iron water which turned the dye purple. The dye came out on the fabric as a nice soft grey which hid the scorch marks.

    I love this video! Thank you for sharing. I live in Austin, Texas, and we have wild mustard growing all over the place at this time of year, so I picked some and I'm going to use it to dye something blue, believe it or not. Wish me luck!
