Can I ask then, who is a trust worthy teacher? Is your job dedicated to just exposing (which in fact is good, but your channel just seems so obsessed with it). You make it seem like know church, no community, no group is theologically correct, or biblically sound. The floor I could be walking on could be installed by atheists and satanists, should I quit my job because of that? Haven’t you realized that everywhere we go, there is false teaching and sin? There is sin even in me. So what are we supposed to do with that? I simply just want to follow Christ, love my neighbor and love God, and wield the truth in my heart at all times. I’m annoyed with all this “blah blah blah EXPOSED”. I don’t me to harsh, I truly just want to ask if you what are we supposed to do if every teacher is wrong? Or every church or denomination is wrong?

Being wealthy and prosperous is not synonymous to the prosperity gospel. Having said that, I don't believe people in ministry should live lavishly but modestly. If a ministry brings in a lot of money, think about all the poor and widows they could be helping! Not saying he doesn't do that, but could be doing more by living modestly.
Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. ON THE CONTRARY, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, AS ONE SENT FROM GOD. 2 cor 2:17 From the least unto the greatest, ALL are greedy for gain, prophets and priests alike, ALL practice deceit. Jer 6:13 ALL who preach for hire are ministers of Satan who disguise themselves as ministers of righteousness. The harlot church system has buildings on nearly every corner and is warned of ALL throughout scripture once our eyes are anointed to see. There is ONE GOOD SHEPHERD, Christ IN us. The rest are deceivers. Like Christ said, ALL who come before him are thieves and robbers, but His sheep did not hear them. His sheep don't follow strangers and hirelings. The harlot houses of mystery Babylon are nothing more than fornication houses aka church buildings. We must come out of her and be separate.
My Dad was a minister. We did not have much most of the time. We did eat well though. It was not because we had plenty of money to buy what we wanted. It was because of the Church members. They were always feeding us. I remember this sweet older farmer who offered my dad a piece of his farm so he could grow food. He also made me well. We lived in rural southeast Ga. I was allergic to everything that grew. Our home was not air conditioned. Looking back, I don't know how we survived that heat. (but we did) My doctor told my parents that I needed air conditioning and the windows needed to stay closed in our home. So, hearing that, the farmer (who I loved dearly) gave us the money to put in central heat and air. Almost immediately, I got well. Everything changed. This man was just one of the members who made sure we were taken care of. We eventually moved to another town in another state, but that church was my favorite. My Dad was one who would receive a raise and tell the church board to give it to workers like the custodians instead. We did serve a fairly big church in Macon Ga, but they ended up telling my Dad to resign. Why? Because he refused to "socialize." That means he would not go to parties where they were drinking in order to gain new members. He stuck to his guns, and I really respect him for that. I will say that the happiest times in my life were when we had little. Struggles tend to bring families closer together. Both of my grandfathers were ministers as well as two of my uncles. There was no escaping it. lol
I could never be wealthy. The condition of my heart tells me to give it away as it comes in. Looks like I will never have a mansion, tennis court, pool, Jet, or other lavish things. Thank you Lord. 🙏✝️❤️😊

When a pastor is dependent upon the congregation for his salary, he becomes a salesman and an ear tickler. When a pastor is financially independent, he is in a position to teach hard truths and rebuke that which is false.
So maybe he should keep his book sale money and not take a salary from the church? Would that be acceptable? The most important question was not answered by this video: what amount is Jmac allowed to keep biblically? What kind of salaries should pastors and ministers get?
@@alstroemeria227again4 in my opinion he should not take any salary from the church if he is rich from his book sales. It is greed pure and simple. A millionaire should not be taking money from the congregants of his church. This is embarrassing from him.

While MacArthur may have done something wrong, I have no idea, making money legally isn't one of them. There is no standard for how much money a Christian is allowed to have.
Yet, John MacArthur has a sordid 10 year history of rebuking numerous people for how much money they have made. Thus John MacArthur can expose and rebuke everyone and their mothers for making millions from their ministry. However, the split second after people detail the abject Hypocrisy of John MacArthur's rich opulent lifestyle, that was created through his flagship ministry that later spawned his multiple streams of income empire. His kool aid drinking gullible shills cry foul, and rush to his defense. This video never implied or suggested that a Christian was limited in the money that they could potentially earn. This video did detail the abject hypocrisy of John MacArthur, and his disregard for tax laws.
@@metronyc1869 I don't think MacArthur dislikes other teachers for making money, but for saying that making money is validation of salvation or "doing it right." Which is what the health, wealth and prosperity guys tend to say. Not that I am an authority on the subject or know if John did something wrong or not. I have no idea.
@@investfluent4143 I beg to differ. John MacArthur stated this concerning the Prosperity teachers. "False teachers always do it for the same reason, Filthy lucre, money. That's why liars, frauds, and false teachers are in business". So why does the income and portfolio of John MacArthur look exactly like those who preach a Prosperity gospel? Yes those liars, frauds, and false teachers have accumulated the same wealth as John MacArthur. I wonder if they also used their assets to generate more than 70 million dollars a year in tax free revenue just like John MacArthur? I wonder if they also have been paid more than $12.8 million dollars from ministry and donor funds just like John MacArthur? Maybe this explains why John MacArthur removed his Grace Community Church from the Evangelical Council on Financial Accountability, after the EFCA requested GCC to release it's financial statements. I surmise that 50k interest free loan that MacArthur gave to his lead attack dog and henchman Phil Johnson, which was later written off. May have raised a few eye brows!!!

Something is seriously wrong in the church that large salaries and benefits are necessary to retain pastors. Is it true that if a church does not offer their pastor a large salary, that another church will recruit that pastor by offering a larger salary? Don't know, but worth investigating. Church boards are responsible for all of this, as the Boards make the rules.

The early Christians wrote a lot about how we should share our wealth with our brothers and sisters so I really look forward to swimming in that pool and playing tennis there.
This is one of the reasons why I don’t trust celebrity pastors, most of whom are very wealthy. Who needs three homes to live in? And what’s with rich people having swimming pools? Is there something about being rich that makes people want to swim? I understand wanting basic levels of comfort, but any excess money should be given to the poor, as Christ would undoubtedly agree.
It is SoCal, so pools are pretty common. What’s bothersome is the size of his properties. A private tennis court? Millions to his relatives? Nowhere in scripture does it say it’s ok for a church to be family run. It’s to be run by qualified people. Paul mended tents to pay for his ministry. Today’s churchmen think they are above an apostle.
@@LoneWolfRanging I think most rich people have pools because they are perceived as status symbols. Even if I lived in a tropical climate, I still wouldn’t want a large pool. I’m just not a fan of swimming. I might want a small jacuzzi, but that’s about it.
So pretty much, these John Mcarthur and his team have issues with the way prosperity theology pastors making money but have no problem with the way they make their own money
How much money is too much? Mcarthur wrote many books. Of his own accord and time. On true subjects. He didnt sell false promises of prosperity for giving to the church.. So didnt make money the same way
@@TS-ql2gl By using your platform to write the books is wrong knowing weak Christians will buy them up like their candy since they don't have a close relationship with the Lord themselves. Less than 30% of Christians read their own Bible and 82% only crack it at church listening to a "man" tell them the interpretation. Paul made it clear he wasn't gonna do that when he was saved knowing how duped people can get. The problem is if you're making money this way, you better believe God wants that sown right into his Kingdom. Take your church salary, live modestly, and feed the poor with the rest for goodness sake. My two cents anyway.
Pastor MacArthur has a problem with the spreading of the prosperity message, not the state of being prosperous. There is a difference between condemning the PREACHING of the prosperity gospel (which is indeed a damnable heresy that leads many astray) and between the state of being prosperous. The Bible condemns TRUSTING in riches (Mark 10:24), and it condemns the twisting of God's word to make it say something it doesn't (Matthew 4:5-7). Being prosperous (on its own merit) is neither a sign of wickedness nor righteousness any more than being poor is. Pastor MacArthur's prosperity might have something to do with the large amount of books he's authored and published, which include many best sellers. Best selling books have the tendency to afford their authors a decent amount of cash.
I'm sure Macarthur found a way to twist the verse Matthew 19:21 "sell your possessions and give to the poor" to mean "buy three mansions with tennis courts and don't be poor" ... oh and you can take the mark of the beast and be fine
I think you're missing why Jesus said sell your possessions and follow him. He was exposing this man's heart. He loved his riches more than he loved God. God chooses to bless some people with wealth. You see this with Job, Abraham, Jacob, Joseph, the entire nation of Israel when they left Egypt. David, Solomon. They were all wealthy and faithful followers of God.
MacArthur is a phony he lives in wealth but yet preaches Jesus is the lord. Jesus told his followers you must take your cross and follow him. Of course iam not a Christian and there is nothing wrong with wealth but how you achieve it. You cannot be a Jesus freak and serve money the writers of the Bible wrote that.
Maybe we need to do a video on that. Let’s ask John to give up a lot of his money etc to the poor and widows etc and see if he does since this man on the video knows him personally it shouldn’t be a hard video to do.
no man of God is going to accumulate 14 million while the world starves. he simply doesnt want or need it especialy if hes denying himself and folowing the cross.
Did the Apostles give tithes of $'s to the church? NO!! Did they have 1-3 beautiful mansions to live in? NO!! They ALL shared everything they had, and sold their homes, so that their community had what they all needed. They had genuine Christlike love/caring for one another.
Acts 2:43-45 "And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need."
@@555T22 they believed the Lord was going to return in their life time, not thousands of years later. If that worked, why is it not done all through time till now, oh, I forgot, its called communism now. Also note, they firstly supported other Christians, not nonbelievers.
So, Rose, are you currently living in a cardboard box after "sharing" everything you have after you dedicated over 50 years of your life to expository preaching and also having written over 200 books on the Bible? It happens in smaller churches too! I attended one that when the founding pastor died and an assistant pastor took over his whole family and friends took over. The church use to have about 1000 people when it started and is now at about 200 56 yrs later. Wow…this is way over my head! I understand that preachers, pastors, etc., need money to run the church, as my son was a youth pastor and explained what goes into the costs needed. But…and I mean but…when you look at the Jesus, who is God incarnate and owns the entire universe, said…He had no place to lay His head! And Paul, who previously was a Pharisee, who had good money or income…gave up everything to preach the gospel, and had to beg the Corinthians for money to support his ministry. And in the book of Acts , the whole point of the Christians was basically…communal..meaning help each other out, so no one was in need. Rich helped out poor and poor helped out each other and so on. The purposes of the preacher, teacher, or whatever title you want to have…was to support them because they had to survive, period. Their main purpose was to help and preach, teach the gospel, period. Money wasn’t their purpose. Their purpose was to store up treasure in Heaven, not on earth. What’s funny is John, and so many others are actually using the God inspired writings of the disciples…and both John and all the other rich preachers are receiving the royalties from God’s written Word! Even it they write a 1,000 books…great, Praise God…but give back 60% to the church people and their needs as God instructed! The Word is freely received, freely given…! When I see this, I can’t fathom how they go to sleep at night! I would be ashamed to live like this, when every Sunday I preach God’s Word to the people, get the collection, then live extravagantly, fully knowing that the people I am preaching to…may need a refrigerator, or a car repair, or lost their job, etc. Then I go home to my 3 well landscaped hypocrisy!!!! John, you are not on my favorite list….yes you have a gift (given to you from The Lord) so that was free, and you preach well, also a gift from The Lord…but I am not nor ever will be a Calvinist!!! YOUR MESSAGE IS NOT GOOD NEWS…IT SHOULD BE CALLED BAD NEWS!!! When we both leave this world…then we will know who understands the True Gospel of Grace, in Jesus alone, not by works, lest any man should boast. I am a worse sinner then you…and I repent every day. I will pray for your beliefs and all those who follow your teachings…and give your money that really is God’s, and give it back to the poor!!!!

God’s definition of a Christian is someone who is a true disciple and who lives exactly as Jesus did. A Christian is someone who has overcome sin and sickness in this earthly life since they allowed the Holy Spirit to sanctified their heart in God’s word and truth. If you are a Christian who is sanctified in truth then you can easily discern a true Christian from an unclean believer in seconds since you possess the mind of Christ and you are able to judge everyone and everything. You can no longer sin nor can you ever get sick since you are now born of God and the devil can no longer touch you with sickness or disabilities. “Then Barnabas departed for Tarsus to seek Saul. And when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. So it was that for a whole year they assembled with the church and taught a great many people. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.” Acts 11:25-26 NKJV “These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. For “who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.” I Corinthians 2:13-16 NKJV “We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.” I John 5:18 NKJV If you are a Christian then you would know without a doubt that what I am relating is truth since you are someone who went through the same purification process that I most certainly did. You understand how it took many years, endless hours of reading scripture and praying and you endured many trials that required quite a bit of faith, patience and suffering. They are very few of us who are actually Christians and that is why scripture states that only a few travel the narrow and difficult road to life. “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” Matthew 7:13-14 NKJV So if what I related does not explain you then you definitely are not a Christian. You are what God calls an unclean believer who is of the devil and you still possesses sin and sickness in your life simply because you are completely ignorant in regards to scripture. “He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” I John 3:8 NKJV “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” Hosea 4:6 NKJV This is what you are seeing all over this wicked internet. Unclean believers condemning themselves left and right by writing their delusional and misguided beliefs while trying to prove that they understand scripture better then the next person. These ignorant souls clearly have no idea that they are simply children of the devil who are doing exactly as Satan desires since they do not even realize that every time they willingly speak or write their misguided believes they risk blaspheming the Spirit and leading others into sin. These misguided believers are mostly kids who do not understand the sin that they are committing since most cannot comprehend what these following scriptures are relating to them. “Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.” Matthew 12:31-32 NKJV “Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!” Matthew 18:6-7 NKJV “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”” Matthew 12:35-37 NKJV If you are not sanctified in truth and you have not overcome sin and sickness then you are a deceived soul who is clueless in regards to scripture and you should not be offering your misguided beliefs to anyone and especially to me since all you will be relating is lies. Plus if you are foolish enough to try and prove my wisdom wrong then all you have done is blaspheme the Spirit of truth and you then condemn yourself in the process. You are condemning yourself since you are willingly speaking or writing your misguided interpretations of scripture and God will never forgive you for this since you are blaspheming His word and truth with your ignorant lies. This is when I will certainly expose you for the sin that you have done just as God instructs me to do. “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the LORD.” Isaiah 54:17 NKJV In closing, God’s word was never meant to be debated. You are either someone who is sanctified in truth and you truly understand it or you are not and it is that plain and simple. So I know that very very few will accept or believe what I am relating in this message since the majority of believers are no different then those who would not believe Jesus either. I am simply writing this message to try to get through to the few who will listen and who will repent of the sin that they have ignorantly done.
How does the fact that Jesse Duplantis is a false teacher that is growing rich off of the flock...justify what MacArthur is doing? In scripture Paul warns against aligning ourselves with certain teachers (saying “I am of Paul” or “I am not of Apollos”.) But that is exactly what MacArthur’s people are doing. And they will do all sorts of verbal calisthenics and butcher scripture as necessary...in order to prove that they’re “right”...and you’re not. This contrasts in my mind with Jacob’s statement...that people should follow ANY teacher (including himself) ONLY as far as that teacher follows Christ.
This is crushing to me. I cannot stand everywhere I go seeking my God I am met with more and more questions, concerns and confusion… I want to know my creator. I want to meet my Lord…. And all of this back and forth is devastating to my faith and hope… and I am trying so hard to hang on to them. I wish things were different. Pray for me…… PLEASE.
Hardly surprsing, the money changers that Jesus drove out of the temple keep coming back. Just proves that being a professional pastor ( a non biblical role), is a great business, and shows how evangelical/ protestant churches are just as much a part of the Babylon Church as the Catholicism they condemn.
Joseph De Zordi, your comment was impeccably laid out and absolutely biblically accurate. There are so few that see this Babylon church system for what it is. I'm glad to call you my brother.
Except that the Roman church has from the very beginning has been an apostate organization. At least the Protestant church had humble beginnings as home church gatherings. Plus as far as I know it was the Catholic Church that burned people at the stake and murdered millions that would not convert to their demonic theology.
I used to listen to John MacArthur until I heard him say you can take the mark and still he saved. Once I heard that I stopped listening to john. I was sad to know he said that because I thought he was doing so well sharing the gospel. Thank you for getting this out to everyone. Elaine
Say you one day take the mark and only realize afterwards that you took it. Say you regret falling into a false security that you see now is a lie. The whole goal of Satan is to deceive! And many will be deceived with the mark. Would u rather God abandon you even if you sincerely repent of your choice? Who's to say you might not be deceived?
@@robbiewr8451 That doesn't make sense because no one will be deceived into taking the mark. They will take it willingly because per scripture, taking the mark means you will have to pledge allegiance and worship the AC. Now explain to me how someone could possibly be deceived into doing that.. not to mention that what you said contradicts scripture. I suggest you read Revelation 14:9-11
@@vanillacreem816 There is only one unforgivable sin, says Christ, which is the blaspheming of the spirit. To know Jesus, to understand Him, and to yet turn from Him anyway, calling him Demon, or living apart from Him is a sin God will not forgive. Now, we know that many will deceive and many will be deceived, even more so in the end day. And truly, anyone who takes the mark is either totally outrightly verbally against God, or is deceived. The Bible is a book of sending a message that by faith alone we are forgiven, by no work, but by grace of God opening our eyes to truth and saving us from sin through Jesus. To say that those with the mark, can't at some point be saved during the tribulation, is even yet limiting God's power and authority, especially for the unrepentant or unbeliever who, only after having received the mark of the beast, sees the truth, acquires faith, and truly believes God. In God, all things are possible. And unless God explicitly tells us that the mark is an unforgivable sin, then we can imagine that hopefully some of those who receive it may yet still have hope of salvation if they repent and believe. The mark, will be a fleshly symbol that will be a mark, certainly, that will cast most into hell for the mark that also signifies their heart. But if the heart of a man changes after a mark on their skin is placed, what's better, salvation for the man who believes at the hour death, or the man who goes to hell forever, never turning from their sin?

McArthur did indeed say that. Any pastor or preacher that tells you that you can defile your temple and still be received in the Kingdom, is of the enemy. A wolf in the pulpit. And those seem to be all there is now .🙏

I wonder is it really had to be millions of dollar houses as a modest choice and if he did not buy millions dollar house as his cronies say than he is poverty pastor? Because this is what people are keep saying. There is nothing wrong for him to buying 3 of millions of dollars 🏘️ houses. My mind can not accept this logic there is all sort of issues on this.
Its not the one salary, its the multiple salaries, its not the home, its that its a mansion and he has 3. Its not just the pool or tennis court, its the combination. This man is wealthy and is living just as sumptuously as the rich man in Jesus' parable. And its by choice, he doesnt have to have these things regardless of what they pay him. It takes much money to even maintain these properties. Anything he says now as an excuse can be wielded by the prosperity preachers he is at war with. Its makes him a hypocrite.

David Nikao Wilcoxson series Revelation Timeline Decoded on youtube is a good historicist series. Bret Norman, Joggler66, and other historicists I know hold his series in high regard. It also gives you a good understanding of history and how the Jesuits and the Catholic church have corrupted most of the churches. Another good channel is EvenAtTheDoors, he is a seventh day adventist, but you never hear him dwell on Ellen white, and has alot of good videos about Christian history and brings up interesting subjects.
I saw his net worth two years...wasn't sure what it was based on. Thanks for posting this. I will say in being a Christian for 40 years, there is a cognitive dissonance that happens with some ministers with regard to wealth. Many of their congregants fill the need to bless pastor. I have been in churches where the salaries were over and above due to fondness. Many pastors like these , I believe have no ill intent they simply accept the gifts. But still other that I know like Charles Roesel or Leesburg, FL or Charles Lyons will strongly encourage their congregants to use their money in street outreach or in the development of needs ministry in their local communities AND more this attitude is desperately needed these days especially. I have seen the poverty in Los Angeles area. This is heart breaking, pray that he will be broken. I detect a slight snide attitude by this speaker here btw. I truly hope he desires for repentance for MacArthur. Also, it really doesn't make good sense to hold all three properties anyway. That is a lot of property taxes especially in California.
I don't think it's technically a sin to own three properties. It's between him and God ultimately. Perhaps he gave away 70% of his earnings and God wants him to have the rest. Maybe he lends the two other houses to visiting Pastors. We don't know. In Proverbs it that says a godly man leaves and inheritance to his children's children. So there's a balance to be worked out.

Friendly reminder that Warren Buffett one of the wealthiest men in the world, not a Christian, lives in the same house he has owned since the 1950s, estimated in todays dollars at $270,000.
@@ServusChristi You seem to forget that Buffet came from very humble beginnings. He persisted on to invest what would be at that time infinitesimally meager earnings and continued in that process to become one of the richest men in the world. He didn't do it through tithes, he did it with his own means. With that, he has the right to have as much as he damn well pleases and do with it what he wants, whether he chooses to give most or all of it away or to keep the same. I don't know enough about McArthur to say anything about the man but there are ministers who do not rely on gifts or tithes to sustain them. Dr. Frederick K.C. Price(a word of faith minister) is one of them as he owns property in parts of the Los Angeles area and has for many years. He's stated as much and has never solicited funds for himself from his congregation or anyone listening by media. There probably are a number of others who do sustain themselves independently, and should in my opinion, to alleviate the criticism. BTW, people aren't giving preachers money at gunpoint. But it seems no one complains about the salaries of politicians who often become millionaires on the backs of taxpayers. Most of them are the reason America's in financial trouble at this point. Nobody is forced to participate in any religion whatsoever and therefore, live their lives apart from it. But God forbid people choose to go to the polls to hold aloof, haughty greedy leaders accountable.
So because John MacArthur lives in the same house for 40 years and his property is valued higher than Warren Buffet’s, he should sell up, give everything to the poor and buy a cheap house? We all need our loving triune God the Father, the Son Jesus Christ the Savior, and the Holy Spirit for forgiveness, salvation, and His guidance through this very troubled temporary world in to eternal life with Him one day [the ONLY way to avoid eternal hell.] We need to pray and read God's word; the 66 Books of the Holy Bible. I would hate to be tempted with that kind of cash because I can see how easy it would be to get consumed by it. The New Testament warns us about money and excess, continually. Sin thrives in excess. John said, "Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same." Even worldly people find rich pastors offensive. Speaking of all rich shepherds, I, a believer, find it appalling. Unless the sheep are all well and fed, the shepherd has no right to get fat on the pennies of followers. ALL teachers will be held to account and anyone caught lacking will be held to account. Thus why the Bible WARNS about these things. Do not take them lightly or defend the ravaging of the flock. I have to agree. I never believed in “Millionaire Pastors”. Tell me where in the Bible has it shown that Pastors of any kind very wealthy. If you have a secular job that makes you money, that’s one thing as long it is legal, morally ethical... BUT when your wealth comes from the backs of your parishioners, that is wrong. By the way 1 Timothy 5:18 does not justify millionaire pastors.
Tell me where in Scripture that it says a pastor is not to earn a living. Paul says in 1Timothy the pastors should be paid appropriately nor does it say that pastors cannot be wealthy. Money is NOT the root of all evil, only the love of money. My guess is Justin is just covetous. I’m done with him as he lies about G-d’s word.
Like you all know. The Bible says that the LOVE of money is the root of all evil. Key word is LOVE. So I don’t see the problem with John MacArthur having prosperity in his life. King Salomon was the richest man in the world and it’s because God blessed him with so much. And if God wants to bless John I just don’t see the problem with that. When John criticizes the prosperity gospel teachers is because that’s all they teach.

I’ve dealt with McArthurs minions before. It is or borders on idolatry. They will justify anything he says or does. They need to follow Christ. Not JM
Justin Peters once told me that he believes John MacArthur has done more for Christianity than any other single human who has ever lived. That is a near verbatim citation from him. The internet and churches are filled with billions of ignorant souls who believe that they are Christians. Many are starting their own channels or ministries since they are claiming they are hearing from God or that God has given them a prophetic dream. Some are even on the streets claiming that they were sent by God in order to lead people to Jesus. Most are eagerly speaking or writing their misguided beliefs all over the place and they are constantly trying to prove each other wrong in regards to their understanding of scripture. Well guess what? They are all wrong and they are all simply misguided souls who are being led astray by the devil.
So what is it that over 95% of believers are missing? Well the majority of people who claim to be Christian are nothing more then misguided believers who follow the devil’s lies and suggestions. That’s right, they are following the devil’s lies since they possess very little knowledge in regards to God and scripture.
This world’s definition of a Christian is someone who believes in Christianity and that is incorrect.
And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.”
Acts 11:25-26 NKJV
“These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. For “who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.”
I Corinthians 2:13-16 NKJV
“We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.”
I John 5:18 NKJV
If you are a Christian then you would know without a doubt that what I am relating is truth since you are someone who went through the same purification process that I most certainly did.
Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”
Matthew 7:13-14 NKJV
So if what I related does not explain you then you definitely are not a Christian. You are what God calls an unclean believer who is of the devil and you still possesses sin and sickness in your life simply because you are completely ignorant in regards to scripture.
“He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.”
I John 3:8 NKJV
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”
Hosea 4:6 NKJV
This is what you are seeing all over this wicked internet.
Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.”
Matthew 12:31-32 NKJV
“Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!”
Matthew 18:6-7 NKJV
“A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.””
Matthew 12:35-37 NKJV
If you are not sanctified in truth and you have not overcome sin and sickness then you are a deceived soul who is clueless in regards to scripture and you should not be offering your misguided beliefs to anyone and especially to me since all you will be relating is lies.
This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the LORD.”
Isaiah 54:17 NKJV
In closing, God’s word was never meant to be debated.

@@robbiewr8451 That doesn't make sense because no one will be deceived into taking the mark.

David Nikao Wilcoxson series Revelation Timeline Decoded on youtube is a good historicist series. Bret Norman, Joggler66, and other historicists I know hold his series in high regard.
Really, IF they are their brothers keepers, give those gifts to those in their churches, community, who really would need it!

Ouch.... Leave it to Rick Warren the heretic and Warren Buffet the heathen to outshine John MacArthur in financial matters.
@@ServusChristi
You seem to forget that Buffet came from very humble beginnings.
I don’t know his stance on religion, but his son has done a lot of work helping third world countries learn to farm and providing fresh water.
So because John MacArthur lives in the same house for 40 years and his property is valued higher than Warren Buffet’s, he should sell up, give everything to the poor and buy a cheap house? I’m not sure of your point but I don’t see the relevance to compare.

20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

Were you there when the wrong was committed? Do you have tangible/visual evidence that you can provide? Was there a verdict reached in a court of law?

Everyone who follows John McArthur, has his John McArthur Bible, and follows John McArthur instead of Jesus Christ.
Ted, Do you also think you can except the Mark of the beast and still go to heaven? What does the Bible say about that?
People defend MacArthur by saying “you don’t know how he spends his money...”. Neither do you. What we do know is he makes a ton of money, and refuses to open his books to the public.
If that’s not suspicious to you, you might be rather ... dull

Dear brother , if Christian men were to emulate Jesus's lifestyle in everything , no Christian man would be married and still be struggling with useless lusts and no Christian man would have a roof over his head !
When he put his name on a BIBLE, that shows UNBELIEVABLE ARROGANCE!!!!
I have thought the same thing myself.
@@Fedproman what do y’all mean?
@@bether7472 true, people defer their own discernment and put all their trust in a man to interpret the Bible for them. This is what the Jehovah's Witnesses do!!!
I hate when people put men's names on bibles, even after they have passed away. But to put your OWN name on a bible yourself while you're still alive is just going too far!
When i was a kid my parents got me a bible with my name engraved on it on the bottom
Josh your channel has really helped me not to idolize ministries/man. Thank you. And John still says true things...but the cronyism and nepotism are too much to handle.
