Ever since I was a kid, thinking about the tiny planets and asteroids quietly orbiting in the dark out at the far reaches of the solar system gave me such a strange creepy vibe. This soundtrack fits it perfectly.
Correction, a torus Earth would be incredibly beautiful to live on. Because, every torus has an outer and inner shank, and if we are located at the inner shank, then we would be able to see the opposite side of the Earth stretched across the sky. But, thanks to physics, a torus Earth is impossible.
He did saw dwarf planet, classifications are so picky. An asteroid can become a planet if it has a consistent orbit around a star, but that’s usually pretty unlikely to happen due to their size and shape. But in this case it can happen. And I wouldn’t be surprised if it had some assistance from Pluto to create its orbit
It's an dwarf planet, it's egg shaped due to its spinning speed, example Jupiter's shape is slightly more egg shaped cause each day on Jupiter is only 9 hours which is much faster than 24 hours.
Another reason why Planets are round because of the process of planetary differentiation . Planets are formed from different materials that have different densities and compositions. Over time, heat and pressure from the planet's formation cause the heavier materials to sink to the center and the lighter materials to rise to the surface. This makes the planet's shape symmetrical and round, because the materials want to spread out evenly in all directions.
I was always fascinated by the concept of walking around on a small celestial body like that. It’s big enough where you can stand on it but potential small enough to jump off it
