I actually saw a short of Little Girl Gone, loved it, then learned of Ren via the comments on that short. Life is no longer the same.
If someone does not pick her up to write a movie score, I will be astounded .

I’m slowly building up my library of artist interviews. Good Things Festival this month added another 6. I may even manage to score a media pass for Knotfest in March. The more I have under my belt the more likely landing interviews becomes. I’m gonna cross my fingers.

Another #Masterful pop song from Chinchilla. The soft breathy dry-production intimate verses contrasting nicely with the powerful belt-yer-face-off chorus, the detail in the layered vocals, that super atmospheric Bond-theme-esque tremolo guitar running thru the whole thing.... & dripping attitude again. What's not to love?!
Oh, & she could 100% make her money as a writer/producer/arranger, never mind the vocal performance skills.... this sounds *SO* crisp, while retaining enough interesting choices so as to not be just "industry". She's a #SpecialTalent for sure. 💅 :)

If you listen to her three solos... Little Girl Gone, Fingers and Cut You Off it really reads like this her dv album - her processing her ex abused her and finding her feet and strength again. I could be wrong but I listened to them all in a row and that's what I walked away with.
She said she produced this herself I think. So good
