Not related to this video, but recently picked up a '96 XP and it still has the grey fuel lines. Do you still recommend getting fuel/oil/water lines from OSD Marine? Could've swore in one of the last videos you used a different place for fuel lines on a build but I have watched at least 5 videos over again and can't find it lol. Thanks for the content! Always anticipating Wet Wednesday!
yeah, osd. Wouldn't be a bad idea to get a "back to oem" carb kit while you're at it and paying shipping. the carbs will certainly need to be cleaned out and that kit will help get that done properly. Feel tank will also need to be cleaned, along with fuel filters and fuel petcock. Anything that carried fuel needs to be gone through, not just the lines.
Keep up the great work! 3 questions: Did you get the other stickers from pwc graphics? (rear seadoo, under the handlebars where the lanyard plugs in, etc.) What kind of seat cover? Looks like some of it is foam instead of vinyl. Where did you get the bumpers? Everyone will eventually have to go aftermarket. Good or new parts are getting hard to find. I have 2 96 XP's that I will probably have to put in my will!! If you haven't wave jumped them yet, you are missing out!
Honestly if the engine if badly corroded internally you can't really avoid snapping bolts. I suppose you could try to heat them but not sure how you would get that deep to the threads on things like the head bolts. I know this dont help but just know it happens to all of us, your not doing anything wrong. Good luck on your build
Thank you for all the awesome xp videos guys. Helped me from rebuilding to cleaning
Hell yeah! So glad we were able to help you. Enjoy the summer of riding and stay safe

Will hydr turf stick to the rough surface of the foot well or does it need to be smooth?
Damn that’s fire 🔥
Thanks!
How did you clean up that grab bar soo nice? Same with the hood?
Fine scotch brite pad and soft scrub with bleach. No pressure at all just a light scrub

Guys 1:24 the bumper is centred would that cause a issue over time? your other video you applied the connections points to the sides ....?
I like this way better in our opinion
What is the trick to avoiding not snapping bolts when tearing the motor down? Do you soak all the bolts first or use heat?
