He didn't nailed there turbans because the greeting it was just an excuse. And he said that a man who had done such things was worth much. The rest of the Turks were dumbfounded when they saw the multitude of men on the stakes. There were infants too affixed to their mothers on the stakes, and birds had made their nests in their entrails."
He was a human, a hero and a Saint. Unfortunately, this is American opinions about him being evil. It's funny to watch foreigners talking about Vlad Țepeș and debate me because I don't know history, yet I'm a Romanian AND huge fan of Vlad. Just one of the many things foreigners got wrong about Vlad, but that's because Vlad did banish and deleted some of the small hats that were running corrupt business in Bucharest. (((they))) had to make Vlad an evil character.
I remember listening to an audiobook of Bunnicula when I was a child. Well before the cartoon existed. But the whole "crackula-whackula-Shaqula" always throws me for a loop because it doesn't feel like an ERB video but more like a 7yr old trying to rap even if they are actual references.
@@karlwalton3936 Yeah I felt the same way, but then I thought "Well Snoop Dogg raps this way, what's the difference?" And then a couple of years later, I figured out these are actual characters and references.
About damn time. I love this one. When you think about it, this one works in a weird way. Vlad inspired Dracula, so it's like he's rap-battling against himself.
When Vlad was kept prisoner in Hungary on charges of heresy, it is said that even in his cell he caught rats and small birds and impaled them on tiny sticks.
I don’t think I’ve seen such diss-empty verses from a character since Ellen vs Oprah. Dracula said practically nothing. I mean, was there really nothing he could diss about Vlad the Impaler of all people?
@creaturetransylvania8943 it means devil in Romanian too. Dragon is translated by dragon in Romanian too. Idk how this "dragon" shit was invented. In New & old Romanian dracul means the devil. Some foreigners who don't speak Romanian put it as "dragon" on Wikipedia. It means devil. It never meant anything else. Vlad's dad got this nickname and used it for his house as a sign of cruelty towards any enemy trying to occupy our country.
When he talks about the „Forrest of Corpses“ that has a real grim backstory. To deter an Ottoman invasion and scare the daylights out of them he had about 24 000 Ottoman soldiers impaled and set up outside the back gates of his empty capitol
Vlad the Impaler was a vicious dood in real life. He's up there with the likes of Ghengis Khan and Atilla The Hun. I do feel Dracula's performance was underwhelming when compared to Vlad The Impaler's so its' not even a hard one to pick for me. Good time of the year to also do Joker vs Pennywise & Stephen King vs Edgar Allen Poe
Vlad Dracula won with that one or two bars: "Your skills are like your reflection, it doesn't exist. At the end of day your a bat, and that's only half a battle." The dunking on you like I'm Shaqula bar was crazy, like Shaq in NBA!
For Vlad they used both his historical stuff & his exaggerating myths from his foes. To my knowledge the rat thing is a myth but a very widely told one while he was locked up by the Turks. He did not put woman & children on stakes but he did lure the greedy lazy & those who just lived off others into a banquet hall, locked them inside & burned the building. As if you did not work hard & helped,he didn't think you belonged in his land. The reason behind Vlad having to be so cruel in war is he needed to use fear tactics & guerrilla warfare since his forces only numbered around 20k & the Ottoman empire had a force against him numbers between 200,000-400,000. A hero & iron fist ruler to his people but a devil to his enemies.
I feel like "I rock the house once I'm invited into it" is kind of a self diss demonstrating one of the many, many weaknesses vampires have. I believe they also threw rice onto the ground there referring to how a vampire has to count the amount of rice grains spilt before they can continue. The rat bit is kind of self explanatory. Vlad is a known sadist and as his father sold both Vlad and Radu to the Ottomans for favors and guarantees (Pretty common back then) Radu took to the Ottoman life better than Vlad did and thus Vlad didn't have the same privileges among the Ottomans as Radu did and spent a good chunk of his life imprisoned. And since there's not much for a warped sadistic mind to do, he took a hobby where he could to spend the time and chose a pet rat to play with. Unfortunate for the rat, but that's how it goes. Torturing small animals as a child is one classical sign of a warped mind and you would need one to come up with all the cruelty Vlad is known for. Albeit it is not exactly known how much of that known cruelty is true and how much is fiction, but still. Then again, I do feel like you have to give some bonus points to Dracula as he is rapping against his younger self that he can recognise while this does not necessarily apply to Vlad, leaving him open to be more cruel towards his later fictitious (hopefully) self.
Dracula doesn't get beat by the sun at the beach. He gets weakened to the point that he's as easy to fight as a human, like a reverse Superman or Superman under a red sun. Also, garlic doesn't physically harm him either it just wards him off. What's Vlad gonna do, make a breadstick circle around him?
Dracula lost the moment he used lines from The Count from Sesame Street like it was a good thing. But he lost by anyways, because he's got a number of self owns and baseless insults that had no weight whatsoever. Like, besides bragging about inspiring and referencing a child friendly character like The he Count, he also brings up that he needs to be invited into people's houses despite that being a significant point against him being threatening, and both of these are serious self owns. As for his insults, he challenges the idea that Vlad can read or washes his neck. Unless there's actual historic evidence to suggest both of these were true, then that's barely any better than saying something as childish as "you're stupid".
There's an anime where Mages gather together every certain amount of years to compete for the Holy Grail (wish granting device) in a war where murder was not only allowed, but it was always the easiest way to win. In this competition, each chosen mage would summon a heroic spirit from the past, future, or fiction to help them battle the other mages. Mages generally can't choose who they summon, but they can increase the odds to get a specific spirit based on altering, or adding certain parameters to the summoning ritual. The form a Heroic Spirit takes is not based on any historical, or literary accuracy, but on the myths, and legends surrounding the Spirit. Although particularly willful spirits can enforce their "true self" regardless of the myths. One mage managed to summon the historical Vlad the Impaler, an immensely powerful warrior whenever he battled on his ancestral land (which this particular competition happened to take place in), but it came with a twist. He was the historical Vlad the Impaler, but to his utter shame, due to the myths surrounding his legend, his trump card was to transform into Count Dracula.
