Very nice explanation about difference between enable and triggered subsystem, and the each block properties. very good question asked by Mahesh Patekar and good answer given by the Simulink Tutorial.
what is the difference between holding or resetting of enable and ourport? At both places we can apply holding or resetting either on enable or outport or both places. Please explain what is the difference.
+Mahesh Patekar hi. I understand your question. But reset doesn't mean it should start from zero. If you go to mathworks and check this is what reset is: reset - States revert to their initial conditions if the subsystem is disabled for at least one time step. So as soon as enable is 1, the delay block executes from initial condition value which is 0, and 1 gets added to it and hence the o/p is 1. If it wasn't from initial condition then the o/p would have been delayed o/p i.e. 3 plus 1 and hence 4 which happens in case of hold.
In my opinion, its one after reset bcuz of the functionality inside. This functionality is of counter, so it STARTS counting, when enabled. So, when it is enabled second time, it STARTED counting again (from zero). If you are counting from 0, output will start from giving count 1. That's why, output is 1.
good day admin, i learnt handsome about MATLAB by watching videos on your channel. now, i want to make a control system for a subsystem to control 3-phase input power from two sources automatically, please share some helpful
yes with respect to time i want to choose between two sources, when one source is switched off, power from another is on, automatically. suppose for first 2 second, source one is on and for next two second source one is off and source two is on

Best explanation of simulink ... Well done.
your tutorial was so helpful for me. thank you so much.
good work dear your videos are very helpful for MBD beginners :)
Excellent explanation can u make a sub system seperatly Like enable, triggered,
In exactly which case I have to go for enabled or go for triggered subsystem

In the last graph with enabled block using reset, why the signal is starting from value 1 instead of value 0? It should reset the value to 0.

Hello
I was asked to develop a trigger subsystem using enabled system..? How to do that??
Please refer design shared in community tab
you r the best
how can we generate a pulse in every 10 seconds in stateflow model?? using state chart
What is the meaning of sample time inharited?

Is it like you want to choose between sources?
yes with respect to time i want to choose between two sources, when one source is switched off, power from another is on, automatically.
suppose for first 2 second, source one is on and for next two second source one is off and source two is on
Use temporal logic to switch between two sources. And give the time after which you want to switch.
i want for three phase sources please share some pictorial help or some modeled temporal logic.......please please
so painful to hear!
