Maybe a year ago we bought an adapter for copy TrueTone on 12 series to our V1S programmer. It’s just doesn’t worked. I emailed to JC support but they did not answer to me. I did not found answer on internet and thought it’s just not working with v1s so bought a v1se with all available board at that time. Same. After months they released an new board and found out the old board working just with 3th party display but for original you need this other board. Since this happened to me I always waiting seeing working in video if JC come out with some new thing.

I ordered one a couple weeks ago, it is getting regular updates every couple of days so they are at least working on it, but they've definitely fucked up releasing it too early before its actually ready. I'm just hoping they put things right
First of all I want to say, I really think JC has dropped the ball here, out of all the products on the market with this solution JC has probably the worst quality software experience. I have the V1SE Wifi model, and That was plug and play with this board for me. The option in the software with the activation button was there. But I have the NEWEST model of V1SE, and i have yet to try my older models. The first time I tried the JC flex, the dot failed and burned out the chip so I could not re-activate it or, even use the tag on flex because it couldn't see the dot. I was very disapointed, I then had to go and use the chip method for that device. However the second one worked. I went back to using the AY until I go through all of those flexs before I will try again. Not game enough. Great review as always ben!

Never liked, never used JC ID product and I hope I never will! Except P13 even tho I don’t use it all the products are just boring, expensive and need an update and stuff like that. I use AY for new face method, used i2c for regular face id and battery fixing and Mijint P12 for NAND programming and I’m always happy and never disappointed from these tools! Jc need to be connected to servers and other stuff while with P12 you program nand within 10-15 second. Thanks for honest review.

Expensive jc at it again....always doing the wrong thing at the right time... last year was upgrading jv1s to reject their face id flex cable.... this year, jv1s Pro with promise and failed feature.. now with a failed tag on flex cable....ever once I switched to i2c.... I have no issues at all... face id repair perfect....flex, fa02 chip and tag on flex method working fine and affordable 👌 💪 👍 😍 😄 👏

I still use the JC chip method for Face ID repairs, however my programmer V1se Wi-Fi worked fine for a couple of weeks, but now it reads Abnormal all dot projectors even if they are fully working. Vendor does not get back to me on this issue. I still use it to read and write data on new ic, but it’s frustrating I can’t use it to test…

The price of these tag on flex cables really are ridiculous for what they are which is the cheapest tag on cable system, if im gonna ditch my jcid progrmers and use different eco system.
@@techman6829 Well i have an V1SE too and they fixed it few days after this video. So probably there is some problem on your side. I have done about 5 dot matrix repairs this way already. So check if you have latest JC assistant, new and correct dot matrix board and connected to external power 20W PD fast charger USB-C. The only issue was the V1.0 tag on FPC flex which had to be cut to work properly. Now that is fixed too. Maybe you should try to watch operation video on JCID channel
I love the old JC products but what came within the last year was a mess. Started with selling Face ID flexes which are not supported by their own programmers and then scamming customers by don‘t take them back. Sad thing.

You didnt burned info from cloud backup to the new flex after cutting. Just be honest bro. JC have great products. What about I2C you need 2 programmers to fix face id issue without soldering.
You are wrong. For JC you need the dot matrix activation board which is more expensive than the i2c activation device. So first think, then write bro 👊

When I saw from your another video that you need 3 cables and 2 I2C programmers to fix this issue I think its easier to use old method than this. If I can't fix face id issue with only one programmer then what is the point. Sure Im not paid to promote JC or any other brand but I think JC made mistake to start selling programmer that doesnt work and on another hand they do great work. Just next time be more honest. There is an activation button in the software. I tested it the 13th of March on my 11 and It seems to work... Activation button: Connect the frontcamera to the V1S, push 'detect' and then there will be an activation button. (JC repair software Version 7.72) UPDATE: JC have posted a 'notice' in the JC repair software. Quality problems with Version 1.1 Face ID tag-on sold before the 10th of March. The V1S Pro for design and haptic is an amazing thing and definitely the best on the market. BUT: it’s beta stadium.

The issue still remains the same! I can see the activate option in the v1SE screen but it says please connect to Jc face id read and write board!

I think the board is no the problem. It’s some of the flexes. Before a release the product should be ready for the market.
