Hey! I just wanted to say I watch your video over and over again. There are a ton on UA-cam but yours really goes step by step and I love how you don't use citric acid! These bath bombs work do great and I give them out as gifts to my friends a lot as well as use them for a nice relaxing bath myself. I just wanted to say thanks for posting! This video is so awesome and so are you! Keep going!💙💕💜
yesterday together with my wife we made them using your recipe, they are great we were very satisfied, thank you for showing us this a specially there is no lush were we leave ;)
I have probably watched every diy video on bath bombs and this one is perfect. I'm going make make a dozen of them as gifts for my friends. Thank you so much for uploading this video!
Gurl, it's like your reading my mind!! I was looking for a recipe without citric acid and I couldn't find one, you are my hero!!! I'm a huge fan of you!! Lush has gotten so popular lately so thank you so much!!xoxo
Oh my god thank you so much for this video! It actually worked and I'm super happy with the result. I love your creativity and your videos Keep it up 💕💕
Thank you so much for this amazing video. I am going to make a buisness making bath bombs, and this video is super helpful. The cream of tartar thing is very helpful! yet again, thank you.
Mohamad Rahman Those are really the only 2 ingredients that could work for this diy. You can find cream of tarter at the grocery store though! Its generally available
Olive oil works well as a moisturizer, but coconut oil smells the best! if you look in the international section of the grocery store, you should be able to find some there!
+Alyanna Abitria youngliving.com its essential oils website they sell them and they smell really good if u get peace and calming and put it in one of your bath bombs it will help you sleep! it really helped me sleep
+Alyanna Abitria Young Living sells super high quality ones, Melaleuca sells high quality ones as well. You can find cheap ones that still sort of work at most drug stores.
+Amber Chan hi there!! You can get cream of tartar at your local grocery store in the baking aisle (or from your local bulk foods store, bc its probably cheaper there) Good luck!
I think you can use normal salt too. But if you have Epsom salt you should really use it because it has properties that help relax muscles but if you don't have just use normal salt it think
+Nalia Larimore the point of the epsom salt is because its made to help sooth muscles and help skin, salt is not the same as epsom salt. I do not recommend using regular salt
maybe a complete failure but somehow I mixed way to well and my mixture is very sticky not molding what do I do? emergency time: this is my first time making them..
The reason she uses epsom salt is bc it is a muscle relaxant. Normal salt would dry out your skin. Epsom salt can be found in most drug stores, though.
+Charlotte Hesling when I tried to make it with perfume, it dissolved in the bath and didn't really show any colors, so I recommend you use essential oils :)
Hey I just thought I'd let you know a few things about some of the ingredients you're using real quick, since I make my own natural/organic cosmetics and I don't want anyone to get hurt. What you've got in your video aren't essential oils, they're fragrance oils. There's a big difference between the two. Essential oils are derived from plants like ylang-ylang flowers, lavender, etc. Fragrance oils are usually synthetic and pretty bad for your body, all things considered. Essential oils are quite expensive, and ylang-ylang actually comes in different qualities, each being more expensive than the other. Secondly, regardless of what you're using I can guarantee that you're using too much fragrance here. The max I would ever go for a single bath bomb is 20 drops of oil total. Any more and you run the risk of sensitization, which is really not fun and basically means that your body cant process a certain plant, so brushing past lavender might make you break out in hives. I don't know why people put so much oil in their diy bombs because it wastes a lot of money. 2 teaspoons of ylang-ylang could go for 60 dollars! Yikes!
you said it was a DIY without citric acid then you put citric acid in it
I actually said that you could use either, and I used cream of tartar in it
Ll
no she said cream of tartar or citric acid she used cream of tartar
I know she said no citric acid but she used it wtf
no guys she said in the video you CAN use citric acid but you dont HAVE too, you can use cream of tartar instead
I love small youtubers who are super enthusiastic and concise! Subscribed!
These look so good and actually really close to the Lush ones! Great job! :D
Katie Tracy thanks Katie!!

I have probably watched every diy video on bath bombs and this one is perfect. I'm going make make a dozen of them as gifts for my friends. Thank you so much for uploading this video!
Kristie Ann thank you so much for watching!! I really appreciate that!
Can you put them in the fridge so they would dry faster?
Yep
Putting them in the fridge decreases the fizz that you will get from the bath bomb, Is rather just be patient instead of speeding the drying process
I’m out of constarch😕 any replacements?
Gurl, it's like your reading my mind!! I was looking for a recipe without citric acid and I couldn't find one, you are my hero!!! I'm a huge fan of you!! Lush has gotten so popular lately so thank you so much!!xoxo
julia lourden Thank you so much!! Glad I could help you!
this is the only video in all bath bomb videos that actually helped. Thanks!
Can you put it in the a very low oven for a little while to set?
+Emmeline Mead noooooo!!! That will melt it!! You can put it in the fridge or freezer to set faster though!
Can we not use corn starch or is there a substitute for it? Please answer! :)
YAS GUYS THANK YOU FOR 5K! ONLY 95K MORE UNTIL I GET MY UA-cam PLAQUE LETS GO😂

How did you cut the ornament??
Those are like identical to the Lush bath bombs. So coooool.
can you use argan oil instead of coconut oil
This has to be the easiest bath bomb ever! And I’ve been looking a lot 😂 Thank you 🙏🏻 Christmas presents gonna be nice
So helpful...substitute half the water with witch hazel to keep them from crumbling 💜
What kinds of food coloring can you use
Oh my god thank you so much for this video! It actually worked and I'm super happy with the result. I love your creativity and your videos
Keep it up 💕💕
It's best if you leave it in the mold for 4 or 5 hours so they can dry in the shape so I doesn't crumble as easily
Thanks for that tip!
For everyone saying that citric acid was an ingredient its not its a substitute for cream of tartar if you don't have it
Is it okay to use iodized salt or kosher salt?? That's all I have
The Actual Video Starts at 1:20 :)
thanx
Jesley Suarez thank you

Ye thx
thank you so much for this helpful video and i wanted to ask you if we can use a powder food color ... i hope you answer my questions 😄
+the king yes you can!
+Agent00beauty wɦicɦ iร uʀ Բɑѵɛ ɓѳɱɓ
Probably🥺
Can you use lemon juice instead of citric acid?
Yeah
Or cream of tarte
thanks!
Can you just use regular salt? We dont have espom in france
Its better not to because regular salt dries out your skin! It might also be sold under the name bath salts
Does actually breaking a ornament work?
Don't break a glass one break a plastic one
+sorryitsanna thanks
+sugar plum CRAFTS Just go to your local craft store. Michaels for example, has clear plastic ornament molds for really cheap, like a dollar or so.
I love the video, but I was wondering if I can put baking powder??????
+Tara Kirk thank you!! And no, baking powder will not fizz like cream of tartar, and youll need baking soda
oh okay thanks, ughhh don't have any baking soda ) ;
Is it okay if I do it without essential oils?
do we need to add coconut oil?
I didn't see you put the fragrance in? When do we add those?
Sierra Williams She said to add them when making the wet mixture
Can I use lemon juice instead of cream of tartar?
Yay! I love your diy videos! They are so awesome! Keep up the good work!
can I use gel food coloring?
with the epsom salts can you substitute it with something else?
Yes you can! Some common substitutes for the epsom salt are iodized salt (table salt) and sea salt! I hope this helped :)
Mettaton Ex Thankyou 😁
Can I just use regular salt
Thank you so much for this amazing video.
I am going to make a buisness making bath bombs, and this video is super helpful. The cream of tartar thing is very helpful!
yet again, thank you.
For an essential oil can i use coconut flavoring?
it depends if its natural
totally did that too. thought flavor was close enough.. smells good
Is there a substitute for corn starch?
Brightbrook Horses potato starch or any type of starch
Brightbrook Horses potato starch
Does this only make three?
Lemon juice can be used too. Make sure bomb is completely dry before use
Can you use vanilla extract instead of essential oils
+Claire Lehane well vanilla extract doesnt really have much of a scent to it, but by all means if you want to haha
+Agent00beauty thx:)
Can you do flour instead of cornstarch
Can i use regular salt?
She tested it out the one that broke?
what can I use instead of scented oil ?!
+Emy Medhat you can choose to leave it out if you want, but essential oils work best! Anything else will irritate your skin
do we need to use cream of tarter or citric acid can we use some think else
Mohamad Rahman Those are really the only 2 ingredients that could work for this diy. You can find cream of tarter at the grocery store though! Its generally available
Thx
Do you have to use critic acid and cream of tartar
No one or the other cream of tarte is a substitution for critic acid
Would vegetable oil work? Or canola oil?
Olive oil works well as a moisturizer, but coconut oil smells the best! if you look in the international section of the grocery store, you should be able to find some there!
what can u use instead of corn starch ??
+elise whitehead honestly, corn starch isn't essential to the recipe, it just helps it fizz more evenly, so don't worry!
I love you so much! you are one of my favorite UA-camrs!😀
Easter eggs work as well too right
Yes. Wanted someone to make this. Love your videos. 😘😘
Arianna G. thank you so much!!
Can I use olive oil instead of the coconut oil?
Susan Park yup!
Where did you get the essential oils from? Ive been having trouble finding them
whole foods also has them
There are some in walmart and other stores. Try asking a store associate
+Alyanna Abitria try the pharmacy of any place. I found mine at a walmart pharmacy
when I put them in the molds they don't stick to get her like the two sides don't become one. is this cause they're too dry???
yes they are to dry but some more count oil
+Hanna Alexandrea you can try adding more oil/water (just a tiny bit!) or else you just dont have enough of the powder in each side of the mould
Does the food coloring coloring In bathbombs stain your skin ?
It shouldn't, as long as you dont put like the whole bottle of food colouring in lol
Hi greeting from Malaysia ! may I ask where to buy cream of tartar or citric acid usually? I have totally no idea where to get...
+Amber Chan hi there!! You can get cream of tartar at your local grocery store in the baking aisle (or from your local bulk foods store, bc its probably cheaper there) Good luck!
Would the food color stain your bathtub?
Khyla Lach it shouldn't because the food colouring is very diluted by the water so you should be fine!
So which scent goes with which?
+Alyn Dacosta it doesn't matter use whatever scent you want but if you want precise scents go on the lush website :)
Can you use regular salt.
I hope so
no because it'll dry out your skin, but epsom salt won't. You can just make a basic recipe with everything but the epsom salt and it still should work
Ok thanks!
Ok thanks I love your channel 😄😄😄😀
what can be a substitute for cream of tartar ??
Aaliyah Castaneda you can use citric acid, but that is hard to find! Cream of tartar is available at any grocery store
Thank you omg !
Do you have to use Scented olis ? And can you use olive oil??
+Counti316 no, you don`t have to, but It`s nice to have, and yes, you definitely can!
What oil did you use
Thanks for the simpler recipe! My kids love making these and I love that they have no dangerous chemicals!
1/2 a cup of cream of tar tar?? Don't they come in small amounts?
Reagan Lewis do you have bulkbarn? they carry it the cheapest
Kyla Sweeney no I don't
do you have to use Epson salt please help ?¿?¿
I think you can use normal salt too. But if you have Epsom salt you should really use it because it has properties that help relax muscles but if you don't have just use normal salt it think
can it be regular salt or sea salt?
I made mine with sea salt and it works so yes you can
Don't do the regular salt, but sea salt is fine.
how can I store it?
What sort of powder
So cool! But hey, what can be used instead of citric acid or how to make citric acid and what can be used instead of those molds?
I used cream of tartar in the video which you can find at your grocery store! I also used a christmas ornament that I cut in half instead of a mold!
Use lemon juice instead of citric acid because that's what lemon juice is right :)
What would happen if we just don't use either the acid or tartar
+strawberryc413 Then it wont fizz up because it needs those ingredients to create a reaction
+Agent00beauty ok thx
Do you have to use cream of tartar or citric acid or can you make it without them
+Jazzy Does Covers Instead of that try baking soda :)
do u need the tart
+pieta Trinidad yes you can find it in the spices isle at a grocery stor
do you have to use that much cream of tartar
+caligirl 12345 yes, otherwise it wont fizz! Its a lot cheaper if you buy it in bulk because youll need a lot!
What do u use do record with and edit videos
+JJ Johnson I use final cut pro!
can i use vegetable or olive oil?
+Sheila Girl1661 olive oil will work just fine!
***** Thank you! I want to say that I just love your channel!!! I think its awesome!!!!
can i use regular salt
Yes you can! That's what I did
+Nalia Larimore the point of the epsom salt is because its made to help sooth muscles and help skin, salt is not the same as epsom salt. I do not recommend using regular salt
maybe a complete failure but somehow I mixed way to well and my mixture is very sticky not molding what do I do? emergency time: this is my first time making them..
if it's molding it means you added too much liquid or you added the liquid with the powder at the same time
+Ashley Donahue you probably added too much liquid or added it all at one time. Its ok! Just try it again!
what is that songs name that u used for the first bit
+Shazia Khatun Ghost by ella henderson and style by taylor swift
Can u use sea salt?
no its best to use epsom salt because sea salt dries out your skin!
How do u put pics in video
can you use normal salt ?
The reason she uses epsom salt is bc it is a muscle relaxant. Normal salt would dry out your skin. Epsom salt can be found in most drug stores, though.
Awesome. I will definitely be changing some things around in my routine of making these. thanks girl :)
What could I use if I can't find any Citric acid or Cream of Tartar?
replace the citric acid with lemon juice or orange juice and make sure its freshly squezzed out or in a bottle
Or you could use corn starch I'm pretty sure double what you would use of the citric acid for the amount of cornstarch
Wait so you take it out then you leave it out??plz answer
+Fatima Ullah you can do it either way honestly, but if you leave it in the mould then try putting it in the freezer to set faster!
can we use olive oil?
yes! olive oil is good for the skin
Mine didn't turn out, I think I put too much water.
Can u use sea salt
+Shelby M yes, you can but epsom salt is better to soothe sore muscles!
+Agent00beauty ok thank u 🙂
Could you use perfume instead of essential oils ??
No
+Charlotte Hesling when I tried to make it with perfume, it dissolved in the bath and didn't really show any colors, so I recommend you use essential oils :)
+avery thank u :D
+avery benson isn't it suppose to dissolve in the water?
Charlotte Hesling well when it did dissolve, it wasn't noticeable at all
For the bath bomb did you use cream of tar tar or citrus acid
i don't think it really matters which one she used because they both work fine :)
Does the food coloring stain your skin
It will if you use too much
can we use chckpea flour
+Yusra Abdulalim you don`t need to use flour in this recipe tho?
Ok
Do we need essential oils?
Yes to give it a scent u can choose ur oil/scent
+Aryan Sayed No u don't it's optional
+Magg Force ya but I was just saying if u want a scent
What camera do you use for your vids?
canon rebel t3i

+tpyo goddess ahh!! wow! I had no idea about the ylang ylang oil! I really thought it was the essential oil. thank you so much!
