A _Deadbeat_ is someone who takes off and never comes back; he tells you he's going out to pick up some milk, or to the corner to buy cigarettes, and then completely disappears.
The level of detail including object physics in this show are top notch for a show which is literally a fever dream. No other cartoon show pushes high detail reflections, shadows and logical physics like books being knocked over from the shelves being bumped.
