I remember the video you posted when you started using the mountain acreage for raising pigs I was eager to watch the development. There's a lot of land most would consider 'waste land' but this uses the land, brilliant.
We used your tire feeder model and it did not last. Very heavy and stuck in mud. Lol. I am using the half barrels now too. Love the chain. I will try that next. I can chain to a tree. Thank you!
I’ve hard problems with our pigs chewing straps in half. Well they chew everything. The craziest one was the valve stem’s from the tires on the shade trailer.

Made one this morning. Thanks for the great idea!

I like that you are constantly fine tuning. If it were flat with no trees would you need to stake the worm down?
Hey there, Marine! Do you ever have issues with wild boars finding their way in with your sows?
Fortunately we don't have them around here.
Nice. How long of a worm for how many sows?
One barrel section per 1-2 sows.
Thanks Jordan.
Percentage feed wastage with this system?
Could you please comment?
Thanks. And regards from the R of SA.
I think that depends on the pig. Some are very tidy, others messy. Generally I see very little wastage, they clean it all up.
Thank you for the reply Jordan!
