4:50 Thank you for the whole process, but especially the "blind stitch" method. I'd forgotten how to do that (been a while since I've hand sewn anything). This is so cute, and very handy for anyone travelling a lot.

Oh nice! I was gifted a similar little vintage kit like this! The outer material has more of a book cover feel, but the shape concept is the same!

You can also pre-thread needles , pull up the thread you wand for the first needle and cut it off. the other needles stay threaded. Great for travel. Lovely - thanks

Trying to figure out where to attach a thread cutter. Perhaps a magnet to just attach to the scissors. You can get those mini snips on a chain, too. So perhaps a wee round button hole for the chain.

I’m very interested in your ideas. Maybe there’s a way you can attach the round Clover pendant thread cutter instead of the button closure? Where would you be putting the scissors or thread snips?
Oh, this is a very interesting idea. I've been searching for a perfect case for holding hand sewing kit forever. Recenty, I've been thinking perhaps Is houkd make small holder pouches for different tools, then making a big case and stuff all those pouches inside.

Love this any modification instructions for different size spools or to add a bobbin so you have it all together.
To add a bobbin make the body wider by the same thickness as the bobbin, for overall bigger just increase the circumference of the circle by 1/2 inch or larger as well as add 1/2 inch to the length and width of the body. Try using a piece of paper and tape to make a prototype before the actual piece.

So cute! 😍 I have a beautiful old Chinese silk brocade lipstick holder with a mirror that I use for my needles and it is a similar shape. Now I know how to make another one that holds a spool too. Thank you :)

Yes I think you will need to adapt, it’s a bit longer and narrower
