Pro digital systems generally aren't compatible across brands. It's compatible with the A20-Mini across the full frequency range, and with the A10TX in the standard UHF band. Kicking myself because I just upgraded to a pair of A20-Minis and an A10-RX...
@@sounddev Thank you! I wondered if that might be the case given the FPGA-centric design approach you've been taking lately. Obviously the RF section would need to be upgraded, but I imagine everything else is software-defined? Can you tell me what the pricing for that is?
@@patrickchase5614 You can upgrade the hardware of your A10-RX to the A20-RX for $995 USD or for a reduced price of $750 if you purchased your A10-RX within the last 12 months or an A20-Mini since June 1st!
Hi there, you will need an A20-Mini combined with an A20/10 RX to take advantage of Gainforward. They work with the MixPre line. However, you won't have trim control like with the 8-series.
@@sounddev Thanks for the link. I did that earlier and no one had pricing available yet, or even on their website. I called 2-3 vendors. I'll just wait but knowing the MSRP would be nice.
Another incredible product from the minds of Sound Devices! Great work Paul and Gary! 😁
A20-RX TA3 version is coming soon! A20-RX SuperSlot and XLR versions available now.
Nice!
The new filtering sounds promising.
Another great shirt, Paul!
what are external filters ?
My dream RX's.
Transmitters ? No mention , no show. Is this receiver compatible with and other brand of digital transmitters ?

@@patrickchase5614 You can upgrade your A10-RX to the A20-RX if you decide you want the new features!
The A20-RX is compatible with both A10-TX and A20-mini transmitters. The A20-mini transmitter is also capable of SpectraBand tuning.

Does Gainforward work with Mixpre 6-2 and the A20 RX and A10 TX?

@@sounddev a pitty that the a10 Tx doesnt support that, because i love to use it on my boom which the a20 Mini isnt suited for.
