I was also very involved in Scouts and we were always instructed to leave our camp sites better then we when arrived, thanks for carrying on the tradition, You the man...Joe
I’m retired now….retired Navy (started out at Brunswick NAS!), and retired wildlife officer. While I worked the east coast from Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, to Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Maine were my favorite patrol areas….especially Aroostook, Moosehorn, Petit Manan, Lake Umbagog, Rachel Carson NWR). I feel your pain, brother. Unfortunately, people are pigs, and while at one time I believed sportsmen - (and sportswomen, people) - were better than most - in my last few years my experience found that they were equally culpable. And while I gave more than one poor poacher trying to feed his family the benefit of the doubt when investigating…I hammered the hell out of those I caught engaged in illegal dumping and littering. I applaud you picking up that crap…”so shines a good deed in a weary world”.
Your a good man sir. Thank you for doing that. I too get really pissed off when I come across that kind of thing. It literally changes my mood, and can make a possible great time turn into a true hatred for the scumbags that don’t give a shit about there surroundings. People suck a lot of the time.
Thanks brother! It's a constant battle man. I believe there's GOOD in a lot of people, but lately...it's been rough. It seems worse than usual for sure. PEACE MAN
Went out two days ago to set some trail cams, walking down in i started seeing some trash here and there about 150 yards later i walked into an old drug camp, ripped tents everywhere, beer cans liquor bottles and a couple bongs, people just fucking suck bud
That’s awful man. I can’t believe people sink that low. It’s painful to witness. I hope you’re doing well bub. Deer season is just around the corner! 🙌
