Nice to see all the mechs working together, moving around. Avatar vibes. 4:03 I wonder if the left hand attachment is meant to be a big industrial magnet. I can easily see CIG offering interchangeable hand attachements, and if so, it would be great to have magnets on each hand and be able to physically pick up something like a crate. I feel like they would argue something like Ripley's loader claws would be too dev intensive, so a magnet would make sense. So interested to see what they do with this.
Think you are on the right track on the magnet and I fear it is already in use to stabilize the cargo you have in front of the mech when its pulled then free floats there. Would be great to see interchangeable parts for arms but agree claws would likey never come out. Power of these units does really shine when 2-3 of them are pitching in to quickly load or unload a large craft.
I hope this is CIG testing new tractor beam mechanics to possibly roll out for other beams. All the current tractor beams hurt my scrolling finger too much for me to do cargo for long periods.
It's basically the exact same powered suit for loading that Ripley wore in Aliens, but with the cool crushing hands replaced with a tractor beam. This isn't an alternate to Mech Warrior or Battletech. The end.
Ah, think you are onto something there. Maybe its arm is already doing something and is at least on paper there go stabilize cargo when it gets close above your head in suit?
Absolutely! For what its worth if I was in one of them suits, I would be like sure Sir I'll help defend when the robots get in... brb grabbing some cooking pans, scrap metal, and my welder lol.
This is the first mech suit, I can gurantee there will be more based on lore and using hoverbikes as an example. As for this suit specifically, it makes loading and unloading far simpler and decent bit quicker due to its advantage of click, automatic move of the cargo to suit, click again where you want it effortlessly throwing cargo across to/from cargo elevator from anywhere as long as line of sight.
The ATLS is available on PTU at hangars, on Orison that would be Augusta Dunlow in the Hangar, top of ASOP list. If you don't see it you can re copy your account to PTU for access. Enjoy it Toast!
Nailed it, feels like a powerful piece of industrial equipment and at same time feels like suit is old design worn by many haulers before. Just perfect. Cannot wait to see what combat suits will feel like when suiting up.
Unknown, but with it already in testing for 3.24.1, whenever 3.24.1 is released is latest it will be up for sale on the site page. As for in game, CIG usually adds new vehicles and craft patch or two later.
Well it depends on your gameplay loops and type of ships you use for sure, but I get where you are coming from this suit is not a must have for many backers, more nice to have. If you really insist on buying it and not using it will make a killer decoration for the hangar haha. Have a good weekend o/
I would see a "Citizen" equip his Mech Argos ALTS and ride in a MPUV Tractor to join a Hull-C Certainly a surprise "Argos ALTS" in the pack of "Goodies" of CitizenCon
It would be awesome if the suit was included in Citizencon goodies pack but I suspect it will be a unique paint for it in there for sure. Exactly ATLS suit and MPUV-1T ship are tools to make cargo less frustrating and more accessible to all backers. It's a great move by CIG, and always keep in mind few patches down the line they will be easy buy in game making their use even more common.
This is a cash grab folks.. it adds nothing to moving around on foot that I can see. Combat version might be cool if you can add miniguns or vehicle weapons... but this is dumb!!
Late to the party eh!, everything's a cash-grab, but this is useful, i don't need it as i have a Raft and only have a couple of boxes, yet others will def find it handy. The gun bit is dumb though, very vulnerable, and slow, yet this is a prototype, much like the Syulen, and like it or not, it stays so get used to it, and i'll buy one, hell, possible a pack with paints.....it'll be a def cash-grab sale. Oh! and the combat version would be not good for you...your solo

Ngl, this is very cool. This is Jax approved
Absolutely! Hope to see Jax back and him and Jimmy getting up to no good in these haha.
Atlas is the perfect name.
It holds the weight of the world on its shoulders.
I just can't believe CIG did this!!! 😂 This is beyond cool! My Aliens Power Loader dreams are coming true!🎉❤🎉
"get away from her you b$#^&" haha
I hope this is CIG testing new tractor beam mechanics to possibly roll out for other beams. All the current tractor beams hurt my scrolling finger too much for me to do cargo for long periods.
That would be great!
Yeah this are cool. Looking forward to playing with these when they are live 😊
The suit feels good to "run", just needs a faster base walking speed and some bug fixing.
Best addon for Ironclad Assault (since the Assault variant doesn't have tractors)!
Dang right!
It's basically the exact same powered suit for loading that Ripley wore in Aliens, but with the cool crushing hands replaced with a tractor beam. This isn't an alternate to Mech Warrior or Battletech. The end.
There will be combat mechs, this is much like the rollout of hoverbikes - you don't like this one sit it out and wait for the weaponized ones.
Folks saying this is dumb i bet haven't done enough hauling missions with the handhelds. =) The left arm, is that a small magnet lock plate perhaps?
Ah, think you are onto something there. Maybe its arm is already doing something and is at least on paper there go stabilize cargo when it gets close above your head in suit?
1:27 FOR ZION!!!!
But seriously, they have to boost the walk speed on this
Absolutely! For what its worth if I was in one of them suits, I would be like sure Sir I'll help defend when the robots get in... brb grabbing some cooking pans, scrap metal, and my welder lol.
Yes, yes. I've seen _Aliens_ ...
In all honesty, it looks good.
One of defining movies of the Horror and Sci-Fi Genres, and I'm ok this was inspired by that kind of suit.
@RedJay I'm joking. I like it.
Looking forward to the Titan suit (which will likely have _Starship_ _Troopers_ inspiration).
Cargo, combat, mining, salvage/repair, farming, exploration Titan suits please.
Heck yes!
You want Xenomorphs?!!!! This is how you get Xenomorphs!... screw that I'm out, I'm melting my reclaimer and will stick to my land based bunker!! 😅😅😂😂
Fair enough hahaha
You can spin items
I don’t know if they make sense as just tractor beam suits. 🤷♂️

Where do you pick one of these up? I tried looking on providence platform but didn't see them

@@RedJay thanks! ill give it a try

where can I BUy the ARgo altas?

So... since I got the MPUV T1, I just wait for the armed and armored ATLS? 🤔
That's a though one Ken! Think it depends on which of your ships you haul with, can it run well with the MPUV-1T?
i want one $40 sounds a good price
Think it will sell well if CIG keeps it at or under 40 USD.
The suit should fold up when not in use.
Yes!
how do you spawn it?
Any EVO can spawn it form the hangar. Check server chat to find out where some suits were spawned and ask for a party invite.
@@RedJay yeah thx it worked, i checked the pinned thread in the forums
great,, now fix cargo.. everything i put in warehouse wasn't registered at all. waste all my money trying to figure why
It doesn’t fit in the Reclaimer. I can’t believe it doesn’t fit in the Reclaimer.
Have you tried 2-hand tractor beaming it with no one inside suit? Bring it up rear elevator then hop out of suit and use 2-hand tractor to move it in.
Please don’t give CIG more combat ideas. I’m surprised it doesn’t already have guns. 😂
But... but... I want to strap weapons to mech... lol
Nice, yet have no real use for it, i'll def buy a pack with paints, we buy everything........its what we do. Kudos

That isnt a Mech. Its an Exoskeleton
Shameless rip-off.
This is kind of dumb.
I think folks who are not interested in this one will be more excited for a combat suit I am sure will eventually come out.
@@RedJay Absolutely, and these suits were in the lore for a long time as well. I am very excited to see these!

ez solution. Dont buy
Nah, this seems genuinely useful for move cargo around. Much more useful than the mule.
