Vocal Associates: Getaran Jiwa with Juliette Lai

Selamat Hari Raya Haji! Vocal Associates Festival Chorus presents to you Juliette Lai’s 8-part acapella arrangement of P. Ramlee’s Getaran Jiwa. An extremely popular romantic Malay song, Getaran Jiwa is widely regarded as Ramlee's greatest composition, and was the theme song for his 1960 film, Antara Dua D’arjat (Between Two Classes). You are listening to VAFC’s 2016 performance of this song at the Esplanade Concert Hall, before we brought it to Carnegie Hall, NYC in the same year.
