This is the finest string quartet ever written and this is a great performance. We have influences from Haydn, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, a fugue ( 5:42 )Bach might envy, and that's just in the first movement.
Really splendid performance of a quartet that is seriously underrated. Exquisite ensemble and tuning, especially for such a young quartet!
