DUDE FINALLY! Not hating on Gacha life 2 but it’s kinda hard to use with all of the poses and half of the backgrounds removed. Gacha club was a great game and to see it just get a downgrade like that is just sad 😢
Okay so I saw this tutorial for the problem with the characters never saving and it works (at least for me) and I think you might benefit from it go to options and press force keyboard before you leave the app everything should save! (I don’t remember if this works the same for characters in studio mode but it should)
Man I love Gacha life 2 aswell but I need static poses, I can’t use Gacha club anymore because of all of those reasons, but I’m getting more used to Gacha 2 because I have to except the fact that Gacha club prob won’t get fixed
As a person with a T-Mobile phone, I can agree it is very unsettling- For me, I don't have any of these bugs causing but there's this problem.. It's ofc the progress. It randomly goes back to the pervious ones you were working on after you left it.. Luni still needs to fix the problem..
For everyone struggling with saving progress, go to settings after you create whatever characters you want, and then you will see a force keyboard button, press it, and refresh Gacha club (not just press the home button, you’ll have to do the swipe thing and refresh Gacha club because you need that force keyboard option back again next time you open Gacha club) That’s all you need to do
I agree with everything on here!! This is very much true! I recently uploaded a video with Gacha Club, deciding to at least try and use it like I normally would, and in the video I introduced new characters that I had recently made. When I finished the video, closed Gacha Club, and went back THEY WERE GONE. ALL MY HARD WORK!! And as someone who’s father always talks about business and the business mindset, I think Luni did this on purpose to force people to flock to GL2. As much as I don’t want to believe it, it just makes the most sense to me. There were no new updates or features, there were a lot of new problems with the app, and now he won’t fix it. It’s because he knows the majority of his fans grew up with GC and would most likely use it more than his new game so he wanted to force them to have to use it. Like I said before, I don’t want to believe it’s true but it makes the most sense.
Honestly when I heard about gacha life 2 then heard luni was going to update the two apps. I had a feeling that was the case. So I only updated gacha life.
Well I heard that there is actually a way to save progress so I'll just say it here When you want to save your progress, play a mini game in GC. When ur done, swipe off the app and it won't be there anymore. Then when u wanna get back on GC, it will save progress! Trust me, it works cuz I have iOS and tested it. But you are gonna have to do that everytime you get off GC. But you'll get used to it. Hope this helped! :)
Thank goodness someone’s talking about this issue! I agree with Wise fox. Even though gl2 is cool and all, there are people out there who are still using GC. The creator of the game needs to fix the problem I don’t know if he purposely did it or not, but I felt like he did it on purpose so that we all can use gl2 ONLY (which of course sounds a bit stupid, but hey, it’s my opinion anyways)

As an IOS user AND GC user, it upsets me that i can’t use GC anymore. It was like the inbetween of gl and gl2 for me, and it seemed detailed but easier to use, i could get body sheets more easily and i had planned to us GC only for a VA series i was planning. All of those good ideas were thrown out the window as i now us gl2, which is amazing ofc, but i still miss cuz i cant user it anymore 🤧
A way to get it so save on IOS is when you’re done with your character you go and play one of the mini games and close the app once you’ve finished the game. Then go back in and it should be saved
I found a way to fix the glitch when your characters don’t save. After your done you need to watch an ad, and then swipe the app off. Then you can go back on and they will be there! I don’t know if it works for everyone though.
What I want is for Gacha club and Gacha life 2 to combine. We can have the old poses without having to make them, We can have eyes that already have the Iris, Like gacha club, and if you want to move and iris in other directions, Then boom! A button to click, then you’re now allowed to make it move around like Gacha life 2. We can have the old poses like crouching or crawling, and even running! Im going to trust the update for gacha life 2 for now. But in the meantime, Ill suffer taking old references from gacha club 2 to remake poses.

I thought I was the only one with the offline export issue! It hasn’t been working at all! And as someone with too many characters, having to save the offline codes in memo to have more characters, It’s very frustrating that the offline code no longer works😞

Thank goodness someone brought this problem up. Literally all my videos used to be gacha club sonic themed, but when the updown came I couldn’t upload anymore because all the characters I would make would POOF when I left, and I couldn’t handle all the ads, im grateful that Luni made GL2 because honestly it’s a great app, but i miss the old gacha club, and the fact Luni made GL2 for iOS users only is just sad for the Android kids, i really hope Luni updates GC.

With the Gacha club not saving, I like to use ads. When ads pop up I immediately get out and get back in, which saves my stuff. So I just use ads as my way to save my progress.
I’ve had a problem with my ocs not saving for soo long, every time I made an oc I would have screenshot every color and asset on the character. I hope Luna fixes it
The line on Gacha life 2 too 😭 I’ve been working for it know but it’s annoying when the background dark and that line there You made it seem like luni wanted to get rid of static poses in the beginning lol
So I actually have some tips to like avoid loosing your progress on gacha club as I use the game to make videos 😭 I suggest staying a while on the app, after an ad comes on wait for the add to finish then close the game. That’s what worked for me. If you just close the game immediately it will restart everything. I suggest taking screenshots of what your characters look like just in case!

This has happened to me too! I couldn't exit the app and my progress would always go back to how it was before I updated gacha club. However, I kinda didn't use it for awhile and the not saving progress problem went away? I'm not sure how it happened, and I don't know if it'll work for everyone. Luni does need to add a better fix than the one I accidentally stumbled into though.

Hopefully one day it can be fixed. I didn’t realize that importing is broken for some. I can import but not export which can be very annoying when needing to share ocs or special holiday outfits… 😔
Yeahhh, i'm an android user, and recently my friends asked me for one of my gacha club Oc's, i got the codes and everything and already 4 people told me it didn't work. I also tried copying more but nothing. I hope this issue will be fixed, tho Luni and the entire Lunime have been working very hard
Fr! But I found out a hack to save ur OCs. Go on battle mode and die 2 times then swipe off and it should work! (It saves for me, sorry if it doesn't work)
The thing is Luni did say that gacha club's coding was very complex and hard to give an update which is why he couldn't update it at all so maybe that's way the update it got for ios users is more of a downgrade instead
I’m not actually able to use Gacha life 2, as it requires a higher iOS and my phone is in obsolescence. I know a very specific way to force progress to save but it’s annoying and if I leave the app for two seconds it resets again so it’s really irritating.
Ik!! Every time I did my gacha movie it would sometimes kick me out or I would just leave and it would reset me all the way to the beginning so if you watch my movie, they always move to random places, cuz it never save my data😭
When I first downloaded gacha life 2, I was pretty excited. More excited when I found out gacha club had an update. I love the style to gacha life 2 and everything, but it just isn’t the same for editing and Stuff. You can only imagine my reaction when I opened the app and all the progress was gone.

Guys, with the losing progress bug, apparently you have to watch an add before you exit the game in order to not lose your hard work. I forgot who I learned it from but it does work.

I use GL2 for IOS now but the one thing that I wish was kept in the full version is the landscape mode with 16:9 ratio.

I’m a IOS user and I know a lot about adjustments in Gacha so using GL2 is kind of easy for me. I remember some of my characters being deleted in GC.
Well, by the time I updated GC I used it less and less.

So that’s why my gacha club wasn’t working😭 I’m trying to start a series with gacha club but I have to tween instead of doing screenshots which is something I wanted to start with until I learnt how to tween better😭

Hopefully one day it can be fixed. I didn’t realize that importing is broken for some. I can import but not export which can be very annoying when needing to share ocs or special holiday outfits… 😔

Yeahhh, i'm an android user, and recently my friends asked me for one of my gacha club Oc's, i got the codes and everything and already 4 people told me it didn't work. I also tried copying more but nothing. I hope this issue will be fixed, tho Luni and the entire Lunime have been working very hard
Fr! But I found out a hack to save ur OCs. Go on battle mode and die 2 times then swipe off and it should work!
(It saves for me, sorry if it doesn't work)
The fact I’ve made a bunch of good characters and have always kind of wondered where they go😂😂😂😢
The thing is Luni did say that gacha club's coding was very complex and hard to give an update which is why he couldn't update it at all so maybe that's way the update it got for ios users is more of a downgrade instead

I'm in the middle of my own series I'm making and now igs taking twice as long and I can't update the characters 😫
I’m not actually able to use Gacha life 2, as it requires a higher iOS and my phone is in obsolescence. I know a very specific way to force progress to save but it’s annoying and if I leave the app for two seconds it resets again so it’s really irritating.
Ik!! Every time I did my gacha movie it would sometimes kick me out or I would just leave and it would reset me all the way to the beginning so if you watch my movie, they always move to random places, cuz it never save my data😭
And ads too! Its so annoying! The no wifi thing is a life saver
The saving characters thing is the problem for me.I found a way though get your oc/character and put it in the save plot thing

When I first downloaded gacha life 2, I was pretty excited. More excited when I found out gacha club had an update. I love the style to gacha life 2 and everything, but it just isn’t the same for editing and Stuff. You can only imagine my reaction when I opened the app and all the progress was gone.
Finally someone says something about it I have been remarking my oc’s every single video I make 😭😭

Ever since the update I have been having those types of problems but mostly my progress not saving (characters disappearing)

Idk if this problem is for other people too, but my gacha club is not saving anything, like for example, I make a highly detailed oc and I close the app, when I reopen it the oc is js gone,

Guys, with the losing progress bug, apparently you have to watch an add before you exit the game in order to not lose your hard work. I forgot who I learned it from but it does work.
FINALLY SOMEONES TALKING ABOUT IT!! It’s even worse when you have an older phone, I have an iPhone 11 and NOTHING will save most of the time. It’s so annoying! Plus there’s other issues because it’s an older phone 😭
