With abilities such as an upgrade for the super ball (ultra ball) making you throw downwards to get the speed spin in the caves, there’ll also be some sort of lantern and ship in a bottle in chapter 3 or later down the line. This is mostly and educated guess based on the leaks I’ve seen proven to be true but idk believe what you want

All I know (suspect) is that there's a ball upgrade and the next sword is Ghostwalker My reasoning for the ball upgrade is because PM64 has a jump upgrade in Ch 3, and as for Ghostwalker, well the chapter card is right there.
