Daocheng Yading, also known as Yading Nature Reserve, is called Yading Scenic Area by the locals. Located in the south of Daocheng County, Ganzi Prefecture, it is mainly composed of three mountain ranges: Xiannairi, Yangmaiyong, and Shanuoduoji, as well as surrounding rivers, lakes, and alpine meadows. There are not only majestic and sacred snow-capped mountains in the scenic area, but also vast grasslands, colorful forests, and blue and clear lakes.
