I'm from Down Neck and I enjoy the dogs when I'm in North Newark. Try Jack's hot dogs Down Neck on Adams St at New York Av. Independence Park! Been there 40 + years !😂😊

Cream cheese and Chilli interesting never heard that combination but must try. Hey Matt I have a suggestion why not rate the food on a scale from 1-10. If the food is 1-4 its poor quality 5-7 mid 8-9 Great and 10 out of this world 🌎 you don't have to but just think about it Peace ✌🏽

And you just know that I get a chuckle at your no-napkin-having self; I don't know why I worry over you (in a comical way) forgetting them almost all the time. I mean, you're grown man and all. LOL!

Tony's is good and so is JJ's on Bloomfield Avenue but you have got to try Chris's Red Hot's on Heller Parkway at Branch Brook Park Drive. He's also got a store front in Verona on Bloomfield Avenue. Definitely a must!
He tried all three of them he did video's and talk with the owner's.
Know the owner on Heller Pkwy he is great but a rookie in comparison to JJ and Tony I know I lived on Heller Pkwy for 50 years.

I don't live in a part of the world you get Sarbrett/Nathan style hot dogs. Had them when visiting but, I like these videos but it seems most places offer the same stuff and for the dogs, mustard, kraut, bread etc they're the same products. I know some deep fry the dogs, some grill and most dirty water them but - is there much of a difference between the chilli? The onions etc? I see the comments there's always someone saying 'x is the best' but they look almost identical. Just curious if each place has something they're known for.
I think so, yes. When I had the cream cheese on a hot dog. That blew me away. That was totally different for me. Thanks @CagedPaps.
@@MattDV Yeah I guess it's the battle of the toppings. Chris' red hot, that you were recently at they have the cream cheese. I believe it's the history of the Chicago dog too, you know the tomato, celery salt, sport peppers all that jazz. It was local places fighting for the best offering and that was the winner, so now everyone there does it.
