August 22nd 2021: It worked when followed this way, but most important to remember is to go back to the email and VERIFY that you sent the files to your kindle. Once you have, it'll only THEN upload in your Kindle library. This is by far the most convoluted, most frustrating process I've ever experienced. Why Kindle? It's unnecessary. Just let me jump on my Kindle, plug in a USB, then transfer files directly to it. You're being ridiculous.
This doesn't work for huge size of ebook.. i have 60mb file which cannot be sent via email, and it's on my iphone. How do i transfer from iphone to kindle?
how to send it to alexa so that i could listen to the audio pls tell me sir if you have an idea..i actually wanted to put the mobi file to the book section but it is registered as docs unfortunately and it can be delivered to alexa ..
What if the book is too large? I'm trying to send through Gmail. It sends it as a link to my google drive because the file is so large. It's a cookbook. I emailed it anyway, but it still hasn't added to my kindle. Any advice on what to do?

I plugged my kindle to my laptop and dragged the pdf files into the folder of the kindle books library and that did it..

I guess splitting the pdf into a few smaller files might work. Would be a little messy but you'll get it on your kindle.
