However, i do believe professional chefs can also acknowledge that if you dont already carry spices like, turmeric, curry leaves, garam masala, geera, paprika, etc in your pantry, it could be expensive to buy it all just for this one dish. If you have a problem, well that's on you.

Dude that's cause that's how curry is traditionally served in Indian cuisine with Rice or Flatbread to the side. Chicken Tikka Masala is a mixture of British and Indian cuisines and is also served like that

bay leaf is something that you can't really describe but you definitely notice the difference if you cook something (like certain soups or rice) without it & you definitely miss it!
You want to drop them early to take advantage of early risers. you want that full day of viewers to increase your chance to be viewed. You want those first day nubers to get as high as possible as quick as possible.
I love the "Authentic Indian Food" that Trader Joes puts on the front of the package. It's like a multi-million dollar company somehow never realized that Tikka Masala was invented in the UK.
Trader Joes butter chicken is way better than the tikka. Their tikka has no spice, but the butter chicken does which is odd as that's usually a milder dish.
