    Thanks for the video. As shown in 6:24, where can get the data about plasticity, and ductile damage intiation? I want to perform a simulation for Aluminum alloy 2024 T3. WHere can I get those data?

    thank you for your video, I was wondering if you can provide the material data excel sheet ? is this a validation of any paper that you can share with me? I am looking for SPCC sheet material ( a mild steel) and unfortunately I could not find any ductile damage parameter for this material till now

      However you should perform some tensile tests to extract the required data for your material. I will publish a video about method of material characterization for ductile damage ASAP.

      If you mean measuring them in tensile tests:
      Strain rate: just divide velocity of the tensile test gripper by the initial gauge length of the specimen. for precisely measuring the strain rate you should divide it by current length.
      Fracture strain is obvious in the stress-strain curve by a sudden drop at final strain.
      Stress triaxiality is known based on the shape of the initial specimen and type of loading, you can find them in literature. For example: 0 under pure shear. 1/3 under single tension.
