The song Rock and Roll Heaven by Righteous Brothers is for all the amazing talents that have passed away.
The album ONE is the album Andy was supposed to joining the Bee Gees and recording it with them. It's dedicated to him. There are songs on it that were too emotional to sing in public. Great album.

The Bee Gees wrote this song for Dionne Warwick in 1982. Barry is using this song video as a tribute to his Brothers.

well, it is not correct. The video was made in 2001 after the brothers decided to make there own version of it. It went down to be their final music video. It was added with images of them performing the song, mainly during their One Night Only special event shows and a lot of other stuff.

I also much prefer their version to Dionne Warwick's. Maurice apparently said they should have kept it for themselves & he's dead right. It would have been a huge hit for them.

This was written by the Bee Gees for Dionne Warwick (icon and aunt of Whitney Houston), was released as a single in 1982, a #1 hit on many charts, a worldwide top 10, and the title song of a successful album written and produced mostly by Barry. Backstory: The Bee Gees started singing together as kids, had their first #1 in Australia in 1966, started their international career in 1967, broke up, got back together and had a couple of hits in the early 70’s, then were considered old news. So the moved to Miami and reinvented themselves. Their first album didn’t get played, so Jive Talkin was put out with a plain white lable, launching their record setting string of hits between 1975-1978. By 1980, they were considered “Disco” and 70’s and out of style. So they hired out as songwriters and producers for others.... and were extremely successful at it, proving they were more than just disco. The most famous of their works are Barbra Streisand’s GUILTY, Kenny Roger’s EYES THAT SEE IN THE DARK, Dionne Warwick’s HEARTBREAKER, and Diana Ross’s EATEN ALIVE. They also worked with their brother Andy, Robin Gibb released 3 solo albums, etc, etc, etc. In 1987, they came back with the Bee Gees hit YOU WIN AGAIN, and didn’t stop working as the Bee Gees until Maurice died, and Robin and Barry continued as solo artists. They recorded their own version of Heartbreaker in 1994 for an album called Love Songs, but it wasn’t released until 2001. Not sure when the video was released. You should react to YOU WIN AGAIN with official video. Barry would have been about 41, and the twins 38, and they were relaunching their career again. I believe they hold the record for having #1 hits in the most decades. Very inspirational story, especially if their childhood story is known.
Just a little thing; Dionne's mother, Lee, was the much older sister of Whitney’s mother, singer "Cissy" Houston, so Dionne (born 1940) & Whitney (born 1963) were 1st cousins.

@@v.j.3029 I honestly don’t think it bothers Dionne at all. When you come from big families, you get used to folks mixing up relationships. There’s 31 years between my mother’s oldest & youngest cousins. By the time the youngest was born, my mother already had 2 children. It wouldn’t have phased her at all if someone assumed her youngest cousin was her nephew or son. Perfectly reasonable mistake.

I think Barry knew at least one of them was sick (cancer) when this came out. The biggest regret Barry said he had was that he was (verbally) fighting with his brothers before they passed. He wished they could have mended the broken fences and had a better relationship.I'm talking about the song recording not the video I don't know about the video.

Some other Bee Gees songs it would be great for you to react to (that have official music videos) are 'Fanny (Be Tender With My Love)', 'For Whom The Bell Tolls', 'You Win Again', and as I mentioned earlier 'Alone'.
Also, there are a LOT of Bee Gees hits that never got official music videos, but are definitely worth reacting to if you find you're liking the Bee Gees. Additionally, although lives are great, they're not the best introductions to songs in many cases (especially considering the complexity of many Bee Gees songs which, sound-wise, are hard to replicate as well live), so the studio recordings are usually the way to go. Try 'Tragedy', 'More Then A Woman' (lyric video), and 'Love You Inside And Out' - especially if you love Barry's falsetto. :)

It is confusing. It is a song with history. Wrote for Dione Warwick, but the Bee Gees performed it, usually part of a medley and the video being a compilation. Nice to hear your review.

Love it. Dionne Warwick sang it better. I have never said this about any Beegee song. They wrote it for her. She was huge and it was a big hit for her. Great songwriting.

I love the Bee Gees and their sound for over 50 years. And yet sometimes when I hear a song I haven't heard in awhile I am amazed at the talent of the three brothers. This is one of the songs I haven't heard in awhile and it very good.
I missed the Bee Gees, to think of the music that could have happened if Mo and Robin were still around is very sad. I'm glad Barry is still with us and doing phenomenal things with their music. If you haven't heard greenfields you should make an effort to do so. It's Barry and a group of country musicians playing their rendition of some of the best Bee Gees songs.
The song itself isn't about Robin and Maurice - Barry wrote this song for Dionne Warwick back in the early 80s, and this version was recorded in 1998, while all three were still alive. However, their version never had a music video, so after their death Barry made this music video to commemorate them. It's a similar story with the music video for their song 'Alone' (as you can probably guess from the title) - which was a huge hit. And speaking of 'Alone', please react to it! I'm loving your Bee Gees reactions! :)
