Yessss! Also I’m SO sorry I was busy editing this video I forgot to take pics of the Chanel blush swatches. I promise I’ll get those up this weekend!!!!
Yes! I agree. I love this formula. I’m a collector of nothing but have all of the moondust formulas! My review of the Star palette goes up tomorrow. I’m editing today. Spoiler- it’s so worth it!
Funny because I swatched in store yesterday and walked out without it since I thought I would prefer the glitters in the star palette. 24 hours later, I purchased online 😊.
Hey super Video… i‘ve the Space cowboy single and i love it. Since 3 weeks i have the new single glizzie shadows from too faced and they Match Perfect with a good matt Color 🙌
I was so excited to see you were reviewing this palette! I have all of the OG Moondust singles (my daughter now has custody of the Moondust palette I got last year😂) Okay…wow…when you swatched Sparkle Hour I knew I was a goner. 🤩 I mean the others are beautiful, too, but so are all the other ones I have, but I don’t have anything like Sparkle Hour! I love that they have both topper shades and shades with pigmented bases. Honestly Urban Decay can just keep churning out these Moondust palettes and I’ll keep buying them. (Please give us some new colors,too-green, purple, a black or gray-have at it Urban Decay! Take my money!!)
The camera that i am using is an old Samsung NX500 with a monitor that flips up so that when i look at myself in the monitor, i am basically maintaining eye contact with the viewer. So i can use that as a makeup mirror and appear to be looking right into the lens as i put on makeup. i use a separate audio recorder with a microphone to get a good recording of my voice. the downside is that it takes a while at the beginning of each editing session to sync the video and audio together. but the advantage of being able to look directly at the camera when putting on makeup is so large that i never would switch to a camera with a monitor that flips out to the side rather than on top.
@@lisapetrison-beautyreviews oh awesome thank you! What microphone do you use? I have a nice once but can’t get the audio to sound good so took a pause on using it
@@dearevahansen i have been using a Zoom H2N audio recorder ($150) and a RØDE Lavalier GO Professional-Grade Wearable Microphone, White, (currently $48 on Amazon). The mike has held up for more than a year, though the sponge cover did recently fall off (I guess i need to buy some superglue). i think the sound quality is pretty good. It does take a while to sync the audio and video segments (including doing an export for each one so that they are fused together for editing), but i think that recording the sound separate from the camera results in much higher quality. i noticed from taking Ali Abdaal's Part Time UA-camr class that he was using a Zoom recorder for his audio (though a pricier one), and i have found that following his example usually worked out pretty well for me too.
It’s like you knew I had this sitting in my Sephora cart! 😍 I cannot wait to see the star shaped palettes! The color story of each is stunning! 🤎
