came back to say this is by far my best build on 2k ever i be putting up 15 points and stay clutch on defense ty brother 🎉
I got the same stuff as him but he got more badges than me, whatd I do wrong
I just took this to the builder changed a few things and made it better in my opinion. Close shot 68, 80 layup, 17 finishing, same badges for the rest of the categories physicals only changed the speed to a 75. With a 80 free throw for those who play rec. 86 interior is the only thing in def I changed.
Promise an 80 free throw is not need.
I use a 40 free throw in Rec and I shoot 88% from the free throw line so you could honestly try and tweak it more
60 free throw is good enough

I built the 6’9 guard exactly how you said but I fell 3 finishing badges and 2 defensive badges short. Why is that?

Mine gets the same amount of badges (without the plus 5), but I went down to 76 interior, 88 block, 85 defense (might be Offense) rebounding, 82 offense rebounding. The reason is, 88 block has been fine for paint D for me on other builds, and 76 interior has been fine even against other bigs, tho extremely skilled post scorers might give me an issue, but it hasn’t happened yet.
Do u use ur build as a Big man or like against other big men?

@@notchidi2k160 it depends on who I’m runnin with. My buddy has a 6’9 and he lines up at PG when we run 2s. So I play big on 2s AND 3s a lot all while being a guard on O. And in Rec/proam I can run point, but I do Crash a lot and get hella boards, and play really good paint D. At the end of the day paint D is about positioning.
@@notchidi2k160 IQ is huge against post scorers too, my 6’9 has a 50 strength as well. I run post lockdown to rip them easier, and I know when and when not to pull the chair. And when guys are spamming Dropsteps, I time a Block right BEFORE they drop step so I don’t get bodied, then I recover in time to jump again and contest or even block it

If you have a shooter, Hyperdrive 100% increases off the dribble shooting % for elite ball handlers. Saying it’s worthless altogether is incorrect. But he may be correct for the tall guys so no shade but it matters for some

U can tweak it to the most of 2 other categories being 21 along with the 23 shooting badges but it would have to be everything but playmaking n your physicals take a lil hit

advice: do not make a build and determine ur badges off what you can core, for example tedious things like poster, limitless etc. First map out what you’ll have regardless of cores ❤, then see what you’ll get extra after coring
