  • Aside from "brilliant," Kevin McHale cannot be pinned down-- he's a powerful, charismatic singer who helped make ‘Glee’ a smash hit, his peers said that he was the best dancer on the show, he started his own boy band called NLT, he released a solo album called ‘Boy’, he's a hilarious comedic actor with memorable appearances on ‘Zoey 101’ and ‘The Office’, and he's starring in a new spin-off series of ‘American Horror Stories’ #AHS. Versatile, memorable, and powerful is an excellent combination and Kevin McHale is all three and more. Kevin is here to talk about the experiences that helped him become the wonderful man he is today. Hayley and Kevin discuss his experience playing the iconic role of Artie Adams on "Glee", how his female castmates were the driving force in helping him identify his voice professionally, the sudden and tragic loss of his best friend Naya Rivera, and what he has learned over the past year and a half that propelled him into "Kevin 4.0".

As the character of glee known as Artie he is the most strongest person i ever watched on the show he was a inspiration to me because it taught me that its okay to step out your comfort zone but also be yourself but as Kevin he is still awesome i know that he is close to the glee cast and three of the original cast members are gone they are never to be forgotten.

The difficulty of playing this role cannot be overemphasized. Imagine sitting in a wheel chair, not being able to twitch a muscle in your legs, when every instinct your body has tells you to.

I always low key hated this guy. Ryan Murphy refused to put a straight black male on that show for the first three seasons. He attempted to hide that by always having Kevin Mchale here do the urban and R&B songs rather then cast someone who's actually black.
For God sakes. They didn't even have one single black male when they were covering the most famous black male musician in history. Michael Jackson. Otherwise I loved everything about the character Artie, and Kevin Mchale was brilliant through out the series in his portrayal of that character.
    P.S
When I said Ryan Murphy refused to put a straight black male the first three seasons. I was not counting the black male they had in season one. I didn't count him because he spoke maybe five words the whole season, never sang a solo (when it's a singing show), and was booted off the show after that first season. They decided to make Kevin Mchale the void for that. Everyone who knows the show knows I ain't lien' #FACTS

@@mikaelroldan9240 I hate that Ryan refused to cast a black male and used Artie as a hidden substitute. The actor Kevin McHale is a wonderful person from what I can tell.

@@mikaelroldan9240 and I enjoy that you only took the hate out of what I said. No notice or empathy for my root grevience. Standard reaction from any other male who is not African American.

@@SocialStudiess and p.s. I didn't care to talk about your " grievance " because that literally wasn't the point to why I opened my mouth and said anything 💀💀💀
