In the second episode of my Ibiza dirt trails adventure, I wake up early at my wild campsite and hit the trails again, determined to make the tour as complete as possible. The route of the Vuelta Ibiza mountain bike race is fenced, forcing me to reroute briefly before rejoining the course and spending the day on the dirt trails. Finding a campsite among wealthy properties proves challenging, but I manage to climb a hill and fall asleep instantly. The next morning, a quick shower catches me while I’m cooking breakfast. By the afternoon, I’m back at Ale’s place, watching him make pizza and offering a few tips to make it tastier. The day after, I head to the port to catch another ferry.

Love those postcards, Davide!
Thank you 🙏
I think when you got to Cala Serra you were doing the ruta in reverse because they come down that difficult trail to the abandoned apartments.
Probably they changed the route, I was following the route when my friend did the event a few years ago.
@@DavideTravelli the 2nd stages starts from sta eulalia finishing in san antonio, sorry but the route has never changed direction. great ride though! you met two friends of mine as you were coming down from forn d'en saig that were riding up lol
Ah okay my friends passed me a gpx file of the event he did and I was following that one, not sure why that segment was on reverse.
@@DavideTravellieither way, a very entertaining video! How much does your bike weigh fully loaded? And where do you charge your GoPro batteries and phone?
It’s defo always too heavy, not sure what’s the exact weight but I carry many things because I live on the road, I need to cover all the climates and situations.
I carry a power bank but usually it’s needed only to charge my phone. I have 5 batteries for my action cam, that last 10/13 days

Is wild camping easy in Ibiza?
Yeah, no major issues. Mallorca more complicated.
Do you have spots you can recommend? Or areas where it is difficult? Did you track and publish your route somewhere (e.g. Komoot or Strava)?
I go to Ibiza in 2 weeks, that’s why I’m curious :)
@@julianz9603 I dont publish my routes but you wont have problems, dont worry you will enjoy riding and camping there.
Also check on iOverlander, perhaps I left some breadcrumbs there or someone else did.
local people hate it
they won't say nothing but ....
the 60's are over 😂😂😂
well...they are afraid of fire and people leaving trash behind
in reality even the workers are obliged to camp because there are no affordable housing
