It's completely okay if someone only wants to enjoy music. Sometimes music is just a vibe that doesn't need language or explanation . At the same time, yes BTS artistry most of the time is based on storytelling and lyrics. So it seems incomplete without getting what they want to tell. But no-one needs to be toxic because everyone has their own taste and choice if they are genuinely respectful to artists. ✌️
RM and suga Wrote this song about lost friends Lost loved ones And then when the tragedy happened well it happened before the song was written They applied it pretty much to mv Tragedy and they have you noticed the MV is a lot of symbols about the tragedy And like with RM the book And also that movie snowpiercer. This song is actually a queen BTS song it's still on the charts today A lot of meaning for the people of Korea And for the world Army in general
Just a suggestion. The Italian Army explanation video gives far more information. The song was written before the MV but the MV tried to focus attention on the Sewol tragedy.
As a writer and lyric lover I totally understand why people that love lyrics and the context they give wouldn’t comprehend why other people don’t value that as much in their music listening experience. Like how someone who’s obsessed with art would never get how someone like me would be bored to tears by a museum. However it’s never serious enough to send hate to others online and certain people just can’t stand someone not enjoying something the EXACT same way they do haha. When I was young I was guilty of it so I try to give them grace but the anonymity of the internet definitely makes them a bit unbearable. I hope you enjoy diving back into bts and you’re able to do it on your terms! Them along with Kendrick Lamar are right now the two (or eight?) artists that I religiously dig into lyrics and lore for. Have you watched Suga’s episode of palette or IU’s episode on his show Suchwita? Both gems!
BTS Spring Day feels like someone is comforting you and giving you a hug. Younha's powerful voice in her version feels like someone giving courage and strength. This is an amazing song, like someone holding you and walking forward with hope.
If you watch the Italian explanation it goes more into details. BTS did a wonderful job with thus song and mv, hence why after all this time, this song is STILL in the charts. Don't listen to haters. True Army support and love BTS and all those who listen to their music. UK ARMY PURPLE BTS
Thank you for taking the time to do this deep dive. I think that the reason you are seeing folks encourage you to watch more explanatory videos on the Sewol Ferry tragedy is because this video you looked at here (though my favorite in discussing the symbolism) doesn't convey the scale of the disaster. I don't know if you know the details, but it was over 300 dead, of whom 250 were kids, roughly 15-16 years old, on their field trip. And it was all preventable, and so many could have been saved but weren't due to inaction and incompetence and corruption and ass-covering. The Spring Day video is oblique and poetic because more direct expressions got their artists blacklisted, but the video is also more relatable to anyone who has felt a loss and maybe is better art for the long run.
For me, I love hearing what you feel from the music and the different aspect than just visuals or lyrics or stories. I find it hard to follow a lot of storylines as a multi-stan. I love every member of the groups I follow and I love watching people enjoy their music. Be it the sound, the instruments, the vocals, the lyrics, the story. It doesn't matter! If you enjoy it, you enjoy it in your way because that is who You are and that is why many of your following watch you. If I want to understand the story and lyrics to a T, the only way I will get that is to ask the Artist themselves, everything else is theory and partial-knowledge based on lives/behinds/etc. Thank you for your reactions, and your view on the enjoyment of the music!
I am so sorry you were slammed by the toxic people who claim to be ARMY. Thank you for coming back. Your channel is yours, and you're allowed to react as you wish to do. I enjoy your reactions, and I am glad you're trying it again.
If u want to dive more into the tragegy and how everything happened, Rotten Mango does a great storyrelleing and explanation of everything, and how it happened.
I agree, the Rotten Mango video is a really comprehensive and deep explanation of how this terrible tragedy played out and the corruption and coverup that happened as a result. But trigger warning, it is a hard watch.. have tissues ready.
Okay now watched your reaction, oh boy! you chose their deepest song to deep dive into lol. This explanation is generally the more commonly recommended and watched one. However, there is another one that goes even deeper and explains more. It's called 'What you still don't know about Spring Day MV' by Italian Army channel. She went into everything, the symbology, the tragedy, and even the political/socio aspects that embroiled South Koreans at the time. It even links back to Hillsborough Stadium which as a fellow Brit you will surely know about. Did you notice the "You'll Never Walk Alone" on the old merry go round? It's a nod to Liverpool FC. I would love you to give it a watch too whether it be on camera or off is up to you of course. it will certainly boost your respect for BTS as people and enhance your appreciation for the depth of the MV. Thank you for watching Spring Day it's a very powerful emotive song.
You know since I’ve became ARMY, what helped connect me to BTS are their lyrics. They put so much thought into them. That’s why many are drawn to them; because of their meaningful lyrics. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I’ve watched your explanation for why you’ve been absent from BTS reactions (I’m writing this comment while watching the rest of this video). My junior year of high school was the first time I was told people actually listened to lyrics in pop songs. And that’s when I found out lyric people are really hard core about lyrics. Since then I’ve tried to be more cognoscente of them, but it’s not how I enjoy music. And that is why listening to pop music not in English is so easy for me to do and appreciate. What’s funny (not funny) here is that this song was written before the incident this music video is about. You immediately knew Spring Day was about loss, which you surmised from the music and vocalizations. To understand the MV, you have to watch a second video. But to understand the song you just have to listen to the song, no lyrics required.
The Sewol sank in 2014. Spring Day dropped in 2017. It is still charting - currently on 83 on Melon. There is a reason the Queen is still charting and has broken pretty much all records in SK. For Korean this is a song that has "Han". I see all the stages of grief - inlcuding the acceptance and the moving on. 💜
BTS have said themselves if you only listen for the audio aspect it's all good too. It doesn't matter why you might appreciate them as long as you give them a chance and enjoy their music. You do you K-Ross I've never seen your reactions before now but I understand how you reached the point you did with overly demanding and toxic commenters..
Ross, I’m your big a.c.e reaction fan A.C.E is my ult group now, and although I’m relatively new to a.c.e, I had been a huge BTS fan for the last 7 yrs And let me tell you, this song is what really pulled me in to be their fan I truly loved BTS with my whole heart… to the point that they were like the air I breathed They were the first kpop group I’d ever stanned and thought would be my last group ever Even though it’s not the case now (fandom’s growing toxicity drove me away, and I got so mentally drained although I know there are still good army out there) BUT BTS is still and will always be so special to me and their lyrics hold so much meaning to me Spring day, although bts members never officially acknowledged it (political reasons), is tied to sewol ferry (as you’ve already seen it). As a Korean, this song touches our hearts beyond just the surface level You can probably guess how much impact the tragedy affected the entire nation; therefore, this song poignantly and painfully reflects what everyone felt/still feels towards the young victims who perished due to corrupted system built by adults, us Thank you for giving BTS another chance, and for this song, spring day, which is so dear to my heart, to my core
It is absolutely not okay for anyone to be nasty with you about how you choose to do your reactions. I will never be okay with toxic fans and it seems you may have attracted some. That being said, it would be fantastic if, when you would like to, you did check out BTS' lyrics. They do sing about topics that are not common in Kpop and that are very relatable and comforting. Of course it is your choice but so many of us do find comfort in their messages and honestly just want others to be able to find that too.
Also, about the really passionate ones that were trying to tell you how to enjoy, you may have come across what ARMYs call "mantis" or "manager antis". We consider them antis of BTS because they try to control everything, even BTS' career choices. If they don't like a song, it isn't because the song isn't their taste. It is because the producer that has been with BTS since debut is awful and they start demanding that BTS never work with him again. It wouldn't surprise me to see them in reactor comments trying to dictate how you react. They call themselves ARMY but the rest of us don't agree with that. They go against everything ARMY wants for BTS. One of our biggest things is we want them to have total control over their art. And mantis want to be in control of their art.
@@Indigo_gwen I completely agree. I would love for him to check out the lyrics but that is just because I wish him to be able to get the most out of the experience. This is, however, his choice. The lyrics of BTS have meant so much to so many of us which is why we are passionate about them. Any way he chooses to enjoy it is his choice. I am just happy to see him react to BTS. People should be respectful. No one HAS to do anything.
@@alird1645 Yes, that is true too. BTS is a group that attracts a lot of anti fans. Mostly from other fandoms pretending to be ARMY. Some of them been exposed.
The mention of 'the Korean guy' in the film Snowpiercer. By coincidence that's the same actor who was in the IU's Palette episode with the cast of her film 'Broker'.
Please don’t let the immature comments of people who think they need waste writing toxic comment’s about your reactions. They are not true fans. BTS would never want them spewing their negative toxic behaviors. Having said that, I watch most of their MV and not knowing immediately what their message is until after watching. BTS have so many MV’s with hidden messages. Look forward to your next reaction💜👍🏻
I just want to say that you should enjoy music the way you want since it's your channel. Being rude in the comments is not okay. I know there's some rotten apples in ARMY, but it doesn't represent the fandom as a whole. The reason why we say that not all the negativities may be from ARMY, but possibly from others pretending to be ARMY...there's times in the past when other fandoms was caught plotting ways to make BTS and ARMY look bad. One way was to disguise themselves as army and purposely make rude comments and such. Been ARMY for over 10 years and I've seen things on social media that made it stressful for BTS and ARMY due to other fandoms' actions. But anyways, I do hope you don't let the negativity discourage you. I do hope you will still enjoy BTS videos on your own time if you choose not to make reactions on it. Don't let anything stop you from listening to good music. :)
I'm sorry you felt you had to stop watching BTS because of a few toxic people. I won't call them fans because they arent. True army wouldn't behave like that. It's good to see you back and what a song to come back to. This will forever be my favourite BTS song
I would say, there are 3-5 types of BTS "fans"( depends on how you define them) 1. Genuine ARMY 2. Overly Protective ARMY 3. ARMY with Strong Bias Member 4. Toxic fans 5. Haters but pretend ARMY 1. Genuine ARMY, they watch and enjoy whatever you share with respects, sometimes they might give advices or suggestions but never "enforce" it. If you are not true to yourself, ARMY will feel it and just walk away. 2. Overly protective ARMY, well you met quite a few already, they like to push a little bit too much which might give you pressure. That I am sorry you have such experience. I may say these people might also suffer from "cancel culture", so forgive them for a bit pushy. 2. Strong Bias ARMY, might go a little extreme, they think a particular member is their whole world, well, that's their freedom, but they will try to persuade you to become the same as them. Above 3 types, I won't consider being too aggressive. Because they somehow show respects. But Toxic fans and pretend fans(haters), they are different. That these people show no respect to you at all and you can just ignore them and block them. I am glad that you watch song explained. After all, it is your channel your content, so, be yourself, love yourself. Wish you all the best.
It's your channel, you can do whatever you want with it. It's up to you if you want to check lirycks or no . As long you are respectful, Bts ARMY'S ( real ARMY'S) are happy.
If you are interested you can watch the explanation video of spring day by Italian Army as it gives more context to the actual incident with raw footage from the scene. Watch it only if you are interested and can handle it honestly. The incident is heartbreaking. I am glad BTS helped so many ppl to learn about the incident and be supportive to the parents because SK govt did them dirty!
Wow, how terrible you had to go through that. I'm sorry to hear that. I've been Army since 2021, and I have even received slap backs from my comments because they didn't agree. I just ignored them. Take care, and I hope you have a great festive season 💜
Sorry for your inconvenience with Army. Army is used to being protective of BTS. Maybe it's different from other fandoms, but Army is actually a fandom that is very happy and accepting if anyone listens to BTS music. and because most of them are songs that contain meaning, we also want you to get that experience. so, thank you for this reaction
There was a (very good) 2022 teen zombie apocalypse K-drama named 'All Of Us Are Dead' with themes and and subject matter that was directly drawn from the Sewol ferry disaster. Notably one scene where the beleaguered school kids were on the point of being rescued when the authorities abruptly departed and knowingly left them to their fate. The more recent 2024 film 'Concrete Utopia' less explicitly referenced Sewol in the shape of a natural disaster that saw no rescuers come.
I'm sorry you and others faced that. I'm convinced that these toxic ppl are not true fans and probably more likely anti bts as people go around trying to give Army a bad name. Again apologies on behalf of Army. I look forward to watching your journey. Peace and purple love from 54 yr old Army South Africa💜💜💜💜💜💜
I'm sorry you were attacked. I'm a baby-Army (6 months old). There is still so much content I haven't watched but I still enjoy watching reaction videos just to be able to watch someone else also enjoy their music. We all gravitate to music in different ways and in different degrees. I'm glad you're not letting people dictate what you do in either regard.
I am so sorry that you went through that. True ARMY'S would never say things like that. I am not saying this is what happened but sometimes haters will leave comments like that just to get people to hate them. Real ARMY'S follow what BTS has taught us with their songs and love. Please don't let the haters prevent you from enjoying BTS.
I will agree with the rest who have said it is NOT okay for ANYONE fans or not to tell you how to run your channel. It's also not ok for people to try and threaten or bully you to do what they want. Those that do get nasty in my OPINION are not true Army. BTS themselves are about music then they add the lyrics but it's the music in general and how the music makes them or anyone listening feel. That is what matters to them, that you enjoy their music they don't care if you understand their lyrics they want you to feel joy and happiness. THAT is what BTS represents being happy and loving music. I love that you have addressed your situation and have chosen to delve back in you take your channel back and "DO YOU" thank you for giving this another chance. Borahae US Army
Thanks for reacting to BTS 💜💜💜 Few BTS recommendations - Fake love On kinetic manifesto Boy with luv I need u ( original version) Not today Boy in luv Run BTS ( it doesn't have mv but dance practice) Idol Dna Butter Airplane pt 2 Dionysus There is so much more i can't list all😅 😅 And don't pay attention to hate comments, its your channel you can do whatever you want want listen with lyrics or without lyrics,we just appreciate you checking out BTS 💜💜💜
I am happy that you are watching the videos and listening to the music your way because that is what moves you. This particular song, lyrics, mv, and how SK holds it dear (it has never left their top 100 since it's release) always make me tear up when I take a moment to think on it. I remember when the ferry took place, the blacklisting of the artists that protested and how many had to move in the shadows to help the families, including BTS (which we discovered much later). For the record, I have watched your BTS reactions from the beginning and I have never heard you disrespect the members or their music. Apologies for not checking the list to revisit if you have watched Blood, Sweat and Tears (more than likely you have a while back) but it has a deep dive explanation into the symbolism that fills that VM as well. 💜
You are obviously allowed to enjoy BTS however you want, but I will probably not be a very frequent viewer of your reactions if you don't care about the lyrics as it heavily ruins the reaction for me. The fact that they have deep meanings and are such brilliant lyricists is a huge reason why I fell in love with them, and that is a HUGE part of what I am looking for the reactor to see and experience during a reaction. But I wish you the best on your BTS journey, and I am sure there are plenty of ARMY who will love and appreciate getting to follow you. And thanks for digging a little deeper with one of my favorite BTS songs!
Hello fellow Welshy 👋 firstly thankyou for your reaction to this MV and the explanation and im sorry you have endured some of the toxic side of yhe fandom. On a side note you mentioned you were into Indie Rock. Were you ever into Brit Pop/Rock like Oasis. During Jungkooks SEVEN promotion era, he came to London and did a cover of LET THERE BE LOVE on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge. The arrangement and his voice is incredible and shows just how versatile his voice is. Its definitely worth checking out especially if you were an Oasis fan at all.
I'm so glad you're back to reacting to BTS. I'm Army, but I found your channel through Mamamoo reactions. You do your reactions the way you want to. Everyone feels music their own way. I do have a couple of song recommendations for you I think you might enjoy. They're vocal lines songs. So there is no rap in them. House of Cards and The Truth Untold. I think both would be right up your alley. Welcome back! 💜 oh there are no MV but I would suggest watching the live performances.
I agree with you, some ARMY needs to tone down their possesses-ness for BTS and just enjoy the music and talents of BTS. Don't be abusive, BTS is not about that , true ARMY guide the new comers in their journey discovering our 7 Princes. I am sorry you had to deal with that.
I'm older and the first Korean musician I liked was Seo Taiji. Later on I discovered BTS and they stole my heart. At that moment I was going through a lot of difficult things/situations/changes in my life. Through BTS's songs/lyrics I dicoverd a lot of things that they discribe happened to me in a my own personal way. Their songs/lyrics/music are healing me. Knowing I'm not the only one. A lot of good ARMY helped me by just saying positive things etc. Of course BTS is one of the groups I admire and helped me. Nightwish, EPICA, Within Temptation, Louis Armstrong and many more. What I also noticed throughout the years of BTS and ARMY is that they are equally attacked by so called (infiltrated ARMY from other fandoms) that hurt both BTS and ARMY. A good example is the attack on BTS during their release of their album WINGS. A lot of fandoms gathered together and started the campaign BREAK WINGS etc. I'm also aware that there are very obsessive fans. Sadly enough that is real. One other thing that is also real very seldom real ARMY pretends to be a fan from another group etc and leave toxic comments. The majority of ARMY won't react at all to other groups. They are also trying to stay away from these kind of fans. Anyway it is your channel and if I see that you react to musicians I like, I'll watch it just because, I'm curious what you think of the musicians that I really like. To be honest a lot of music programs likes to put BTS as only K-POP but, to me personally BTS and all their solo projects are more then K-Pop but, that's just me and no one has to agree with that. To me BTS opened for Korean Musicians the door to the western industry. I'm proud of what BTS made possible. I once in a while listen to other Korean musicians but, so far it is not for me. Not saying that those muscians are bad because, that's not true but, just not my cup of tea. At the moment Seo Taiji is reuploading a lot of his old songs but, the sad thing is he didn't put any english subtitles. His songs are so meaningful. I have a friend from Korea who translates it for me so I know what the song is about. Keep on going and follow your own path. Succes and warm greetings from The Netherlands 👍💜💪🍀🤘🌷🤗🇳🇱
It makes me sad that there are so many Army gatekeepers out there and they are very vocal. Us ARMY are very passionate about this music and art but bullying is a bad look. I like other groups and well, especially IU, Mamamoo, TXT and Ateez. All these groups are wildly talented and put out great music, but man BTS is special. They have many songs in their catalog that just really grab you by the throat. I think the reason people make a stink about not checking out the lyrics is that BTS are masters at storytelling and use all mediums to tell a complete narrative. The music, lyrics, MV and live performances as well as in some instances short films as well. I guarantee if you watched the Spring Day live performance and saw how their movements mimic waves and water like fluidity and how they make the shape of the hull of a ship it would add another layer to this already rich narrative. There is another explain video by the Italian Army that others may have recommended. Her video goes a bit more in depth and she adds some other elements that I think this video missed such as in the laundry scene the washing machines resemble the portholes of a ship and when JK puts his head down and the train goes through the tunnel it signals the moment of the passing which I feel is relevant to know. There are many explain videos to BTS songs out there. The youtube channel Bookish Theories is really great and in depth with her explanations . I looked back at what you already watched and saw you watched Blood Sweat and Tears. That MV is so chock full of symbolism and storytelling that you may want to one day circle around to it. Also, an Army favorite is Baepsae which offers a scathing commentary on how society is leaving the younger generation behind. There is no MV for the song but DKDKTV does a great explain video on the lyrics.
I feel that the people that don’t like your content.. should just move along!! They don’t agree with your channel they shouldn’t be watching your channel!! It’s so weird how they keep coming back.. I don’t get it !! I myself have made comments and received weird scoldings.. me thinking what the hell!?!?! It was just my opinion and feelings. So good luck!!!!there’s a lot of insecure people in this world. They don’t feel good about themselves and (I guess) feel powerful when they get to be mean!!!
Being nasty to a reactor is not okay but as a long-term ARMY I kind of get where some of it comes from. As I say this I am not talking about you. Western ARMYs have endured a parade of BTS interviews, reactions, public media and the like who even before exposure to BTS making stereotyping judgements of the group. They have repeatedly been deemed vacuous, low talent visuals put on stage to perform as a commercial enterprise. Other boy bands have been used as equivalences. Even other K Pop enterprises which are big corporate such as Black Pink have been put up as equivalencies. In the world of K Pop, the big distinguisher between BTS and "comparables" has always been that they put out quite a few tracks which are replete with deliberate messaging, allegories and even social criticism. I get that some might want to curate how you interpret that as part of the big picture. I also get that just you engaging is nice to see regardless of whether I or anyone else feels it is up to our hopes. I will say this. UA-cam is full of reactors who react on different levels. Just as you can turn away from nasty critics by walking so can we make choices as to what we watch. Therefore, nastiness to you as a person is an unacceptable toxic choice. Sadly a few nasties will always slip through in today's highly self-indulgent society. What you choose to do is your choice. Do you. Your opening expression of yourself may feel like you were being negative, but I find it refreshing. This is because it means you are confronting both us and your own feelings. That is how things hopefully will allow you to assess a path to wherever think is appropriate.
🎄Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!🎄 A wonderful christmas song - Diana Ankudinova & Brandon Stone (piano) - What a Wonderful World (the best cover of a wonderful song by the legend Louis Armstrong). Diana Ankudinova - Queen of Goosebumps - Diana received such a title for her extraordinary unique voice. Also among Diana's best works are covers of Derniere Danse, Wicked Game, Can't Help Falling in You, OST Dune and OST James Bond (Art of Hans Zimmer) Each of these performances garnered over a thousand reactions.
Loved your very honest & emotional reaction. First time here but won’t be the last. I watched some of the solo reactions and noticed Jin is missing. I would highly recommend his new release Running Wild (video & song) and his goodbye for now solo released just before he enlisted first. Jin & Chris Martin developed a close relationship when BTS & Coldplay collabed on My Universe and he turned to Chris to help write his pre military service song. While the video is good, Jin is a unicorn in that he’s even better live. Due to that and how emotional it was the best way to reach to The Astronaut is the live performance at Coldplay’s concert in Argentina. There’s a high quality Big Hit version of the performance but for the full experience watching any of the many fan videos of Chris Martin’s heart felt introduction first completes the full experience.
I am a 54 yo ARMY since 2013. This is ridiculous. These people want others to love BTS music and the boys themselves and friggin everything that has to do with them. That is asinine and I do not consider these people worthy of even being listened to. I still dont know all the lyrics of every song because, like yourself, I enjoy the music with or without the lyrics. It upsets me that people did that and they are probably young, passionate, but ignorant. Dont let these people put you off cos there a lot more of us real ones out there. Borahae ( means "I purple you".
If you go to any BTS concert you only seem to meet the kindest loveliest people. So I cannot help wondering who these toxic people in the comments are. Are they even fans? ARMY has started calling them fake ARMY. We know at least some of them are not fans at all. We saw this with the massive very expensive funeral wreaths blanketing all along the front of the HYBE building claiming to be from Sugas fans who were disappointed in him and wanted him removed from BTS. They traced who paid for them and it was one individual, a fan of another group. This cost thousands so they caught her when she tried to raise more funds. So real ARMY will support genuine reactors. If you don't like a certain genre we will point you to others. As long as you do not say disrespectful things about BTS, minimise their hard work or legacy not liking a song is not a problem. We don't like every song, just love every member. OT7 all the way. If we did not ignore these unhappy people who come into comments ..we would live cross lives, instead we prefer to laugh live and enjoy the REAL ARMY CULTURE, which is very supportive and kind..... we just have to ignore that small vocal coterie of mean unhappy bullies. Not let them diminish our happiness.
Just about every BTS music video and or song have an explanation To it. There is also a documentary video Of the filming of most of their music videos. The BU Or the bangtan universe Fictional storyline that runs through all BTS albums and music videos That's why there's explanations for the music videos and songs! In the fictional Universe storyline each member plays a character Similar to themselves but different! Like if you watch the music video for Fake love There is references to the fictional storyline all the way through it! J. hope isn't laying in the room full of snickers candy bars just because it look cool in the fictional story line his mother abandoned him at an amusement park That's why when he was doing his rap part of the song he was in a room full of Dismantled Rides from a Carnival. End Again his mother abandoned him at a carnival or amusement park leaving him only a snickers candy bar that's why he was in the room full of snickers. Also they have dual versions of their songs and music videos At least for 5 of their albums which were recorded in the Korean language and in japanese In the japanese version Love John cook sinks into the candy bars and disappears! In the very 1st video For the song I Need you RM originally wrote the lyrics I need you friend But it didn't flow right for him so he changed it to I need you girl but the song is not about a romantic relationship with a woman! In the song V. stabs his father to death with a broken whiskey bottle because he was a alcoholic and was abusing his sister Possibly sexually Possibly Sexually and physically. Jimin Attempts to drown himself in a bathtub of water! Jin overdoses On drugs And collapses on a bridge. Part of that scene is in the video Epiphany by Jin Which is not a music video it is actually a album trailer video. In the music video for I need you Sugar Commit suicide by pouring gasoline all over his bedroom and catching it on fire On the bed. John cook actually bumps into somebody walking through an alley and 3 people beat him half to death For it Then he is ran over by a car! RM is working in a gas station and is mistreated by customers This is a throwback to over 40 years ago when you didn't pump your own gas a gas station attendant did it and checked your oil and washed your windows. Each music video I identified as part of the story line follows Accept Accept for Jin who basically time travels To different members life events to save them! In Jin's video Epiphany which is about self love. At the end Leaves the apartment carrying a book. The continuation Of that scene is from the video Highlight reel In it A girl Dropped her Notebook Jin picks it up Take it home read through it find her address phone number Call her To meet her and return it when he sees her he waves to her she starts running across the street and his hit and kill by a car! Jen is the main character in the storyline because he is the only member of BTS That in his life initially wasn't going to be a singer he was studying to be an actor! His Is bachelor and masters ° is in film and acting! While still attending college for his acting bachelor's ° he joined BTS and learned to dance and sing starting from 0! On June 12, 2024 he was discharged from the South Korean military and on the13th Which Was there 11th anniversary since debut He was the only member To have an event for army fans and actually hug 1000 armys. He then started a variety show called Run Jin Named after the variety show Run BTS for the group. Unfinished Writing composing producing release his 1st solo album In the last couple of months Titled happy! The solo projects we're watching Standing next to you Was released on jungkook's 1st solo album titled golden after his nickname. It was released Roughly October November of 2023 he joined the Korean military in December 2023 A long long with RM V and jimin Before they enlisted in the military all Members except for Jin release solo albums Buy December 2023. Butt RM I believe we I know jimin released their second albums In the last 4 months Even though there's still in the military the albums were recorded over 2 years ago To be releasing now The keep release content for army fans while they're in the military! Sugar AKA august D. Last year recorded a talk show where he interviewed members of BTS and other artists It's it's still being released monthly episodes now Even though even though he has been in Alternative civilian service instead of in the military! Enlisted members Had or have to serve 18 months in the military. However Suga has to serve 21 month alternative civilian activities In a social service office. i used to be a ARMY (i'm more of a casual listener now) and I remember how the fandom slowly became obsessed with lyrics and deeper meaning of the songs and mv and during spring day that sentiment was higher than ever but it really made me feel weirdly alienated cuz I tend to listen to the song more than think about what the lyrics are especially with a song in a language I don't understand or speak.. so I get why stopped reacting to them😔 I would suggest you try listening to them in your own time and not always for reaction cuz then you can just avoid the fans altogether (that's what I do!)
You can react anyway you want. It's your channel. Sorry to hear you got offended by some comments. It's just that BTS is known for their deep lyrics especially on the songs they themselves write. You do you.
Thank you so much for doing this reaction! I hope you will continue to react to BTS and share your thoughts and insights. It is a shame that some people feel the need to bash a perspective different than there own. I agree with you that different people experience music differently - some focused on the lyrics others more on the music itself and some to the overall package. This song as you can see is unique. Without even knowing the words the music conveys their feeling beautifully and that is good music. For good reason it has set records by remaining in the top 100 on the Korean charts for 7 consecutive years. Looking forward to your future reviews!
Real fan vs. Not a real fan? Personally, I'm tired of reading the same old story over and over again. These are just teenage battles without interest. There are toxic comments in every fandom, and it's impossible to discern if the authors are real or fake fans... it's so childish.
I’m sorry that was your experience. You don’t need to understand lyrics….i don’t and don’t watch lyric videos. I still don’t know what Louder than Bombs mean….but don’t care….it just an incredible song! And I will defend ARMY….really true ARMY, me since 2017…..will not tell you how to enjoy BTS! Just enjoy them!
So. Don’t usually reply to comments like this to be honest. First off, you checked out 7 minutes, so you definitely missed the rest of the video where I gush about the storytelling/message/quality of the song and MV. I simply cannot believe you are calling me out for calling people out who are being toxic and attacking me. Your defence is…since they are a part of your fandom it’s ABSOLUTELY FINE to do so? Please don’t tell me your message is that just because someone is a part of this fandom, it gives them free reign to treat people like absolute crap. I’m afraid you are an example of one of the people who lets down your fandom and puts people off checking out this talented group of lads.
Skip to 12:31 for the Reaction :)
BTS is exceptional in the way that each member is unique, and yet they come together beautifully.
I cried again, thank you 😵
Okay now watched your reaction, oh boy! you chose their deepest song to deep dive into lol.
Wow. Beautifully said. Thank you :)
@@K-RossReacts agree….beautifully said indeed!
The explanation video hits extremely hard every time.
Please, react to An Italian explanation for Spring Day! It´s amazing and moving and much better...
Ross, I’m your big a.c.e reaction fan A.C.E is my ult group now, and although I’m relatively new to a.c.e, I had been a huge BTS fan for the last 7 yrs And let me tell you, this song is what really pulled me in to be their fan I truly loved BTS with my whole heart… to the point that they were like the air I breathed They were the first kpop group I’d ever stanned and thought would be my last group ever Even though it’s not the case now (fandom’s growing toxicity drove me away, and I got so mentally drained although I know there are still good army out there) BUT BTS is still and will always be so special to me and their lyrics hold so much meaning to me
Spring day, although bts members never officially acknowledged it (political reasons), is tied to sewol ferry (as you’ve already seen it). As a Korean, this song touches our hearts beyond just the surface level You can probably guess how much impact the tragedy affected the entire nation; therefore, this song poignantly and painfully reflects what everyone felt/still feels towards the young victims who perished due to corrupted system built by adults, us
Thank you for giving BTS another chance, and for this song, spring day, which is so dear to my heart, to my core
Son antis que se hacen pasar por ARMYS Para alejar potenciales fans!!!
Hi Ross! Thank you for enjoying BTS... YOUR OWN WAY because that's ultimately the only way music and art can be enjoyed.
Have a nice week 💜
The stars of the chorus is a vocal line mainly V. and jin
I'm sorry you felt you had to stop watching BTS because of a few toxic people. I won't call them fans because they arent. True army wouldn't behave like that. It's good to see you back and what a song to come back to. This will forever be my favourite BTS song
I would say, there are 3-5 types of BTS "fans"( depends on how you define them)
1. Genuine ARMY
2. Overly Protective ARMY
3. ARMY with Strong Bias Member
4. Toxic fans
5. Haters but pretend ARMY
As long you are respectful,
Bts ARMY'S ( real ARMY'S)
are happy.
BTS Also donated 1/3 of their salary to the families and to fight for justice, which was not much at the time.
No one has the right to tell you how to enjoy music. Polite recommendations are one thing but that should be all.
This long reaction is good. Thank you. Simple words, but that's how I feel. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Thanks for reacting to BTS 💜💜💜
Few BTS recommendations -
Fake love
On kinetic manifesto
Boy with luv
I need u ( original version)
Not today
Boy in luv
Run BTS ( it doesn't have mv but dance practice)
Idol
Dna
Butter
Airplane pt 2
Dionysus
There is so much more i can't list all😅 😅
And don't pay attention to hate comments, its your channel you can do whatever you want want listen with lyrics or without lyrics,we just appreciate you checking out BTS 💜💜💜
Gracias por tu reacción un abrazo de una verdadera ARMY, respeto las diversas opiniones como muchas ARMYS de edad madura, gracias nuevamente 💜💜❤️
I'm sorry you experienced those toxic people. I don't know if it's immaturity or what. I'm glad you're back.
Succes and warm greetings from The Netherlands
👍💜💪🍀🤘🌷🤗🇳🇱
I liked your reaction on EPICA.
Also ONE OK ROCK.
I had the luxury to see BTS, EPICA and ONE OK ROCK live.
They are amazing!!!!
Yes.. do you!! As rap monster once rapped about one of my favorites!!!
Well said Army! Thank you! 💜
This!💯
🎄Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!🎄
A wonderful christmas song -
Diana Ankudinova & Brandon Stone (piano) - What a Wonderful World (the best cover of a wonderful song by the legend Louis Armstrong).
Diana Ankudinova - Queen of Goosebumps - Diana received such a title for her extraordinary unique voice.
Also among Diana's best works are covers of Derniere Danse, Wicked Game, Can't Help Falling in You, OST Dune and OST James Bond (Art of Hans Zimmer)
Each of these performances garnered over a thousand reactions.
Oh I almost forgot After After his discharge from the military Jin went to Paris France to carry the Olympic torch in the relay For the Olympics! This is not derogatory or mean Just my own observation you were talking about your observations By not Reading the lyrics of BTS songs you don't understand how deep their songs really are! From day 1Every song in every album in every album trilogy of 3 albums The stand-alone albums the albums Packages of 2Part of the fictional storyline or not they all have important meaning In the middle music video and lyrics!
1st 3 albums The school trilogy. 4th album Title dark and wild stand-alone album. 5th 6th and 7th album the youth trilogy1st album starting the fictional storyline. The wings2 album set Wings and you'll never walk alone Contains the song and music video spring day. The love yourself trilogy of albums. 2 albums Map of the soul Persona and map of the soul 7Containing Both Shadow and ego! The album BE: the pandemic album!
Plus there 20223 disk anthology album! Plus the rap line 5 mixtapes Plus5 japanese Versions of albums. Plus at present count 9 solo Albums of members. 15+5+5+9=34 albums+3 disk anthology album The equivalent of 3 albums Equals the equivalent 37Albums In 11 years. 11 years since debut not how long they've been together. RM the 1st member Join big hit 2009/10 The other 6 members joined between 2010 and 2012. The final lineup for BTS members was completed in 2012So that means all 7 members have been together for 12 plus years! The biggest group in the world since the Beatles. the 1st group since the Beatles to have 3 #1 albums in less than 1 year. I've given speeches at the United Nations general assembly 3 times That's 3 more speeches than the Beatles! Performed at the United Nations general assembly in 2022Something the Beatles didn't do! Why you weren't reacting to the BTS They probably did their2 collaborations with Coldplay the collaboration With benny blanco and snoop Dogg Just a 4 singers. So you reacted to So you reacted to jungkook standing next to you that would be the original Official music video Probably not the Choreography version music video remix Standing next to next to you Standing next to next to you with Usher. Is music video for the song 7Featuring lotto 3D Featuring Jack Harlow. Collaboration projects with Steve aoki about 3, Projects with Ed Sheeran 2 or 3, Collaboration with Halsey, Collaboration with Coldplay at least 2, I don't know how long it's been since you stopped Reacting to BTS But in 2021 Big hit entertainment reorganized into HYBE corporation several divisions in all areas of entertainment! Wandavision HYBE labels Now owns about 12 music labels Korea japan and the United States. Labels in the United States A few of their artists Justin Bieber Ariana grande the weekend Chainsmokers About 12 country western groups Hip hop artist rap artist rock artist Pop art artist. Justin Bieber Ariana grande the weekend Black eyed peas Demi Lovato I remember about 4 dozen Harvesting in the United States! This all because in2010The CEO of a bankrupt very small music label in Korea big hit entertainment Put put together a group called BTS Which turned that bank company into 1 of the most profitable Musical music labels in Korea! Which now owns Over 10 music labels in 3 countries and holdings globally! But still not respected as it should be by the original big 3 music labels In Korea!
i used to be a ARMY (i'm more of a casual listener now) and I remember how the fandom slowly became obsessed with lyrics and deeper meaning of the songs and mv and during spring day that sentiment was higher than ever but it really made me feel weirdly alienated cuz I tend to listen to the song more than think about what the lyrics are especially with a song in a language I don't understand or speak.. so I get why stopped reacting to them😔 I would suggest you try listening to them in your own time and not always for reaction cuz then you can just avoid the fans altogether (that's what I do!)

I want to apologise for people who was toxic ...you are a lovely man plizz concentrate on pozitive .. things 💜
Fighting!! God bless you!!!
