Just comparing it with the last video you did with the A7Siii the colors look way more accurate and a lot less of that magenta cast on whites. Did you find the grading of the footage easier?
@@jeremydeihl I find the overall image better, yeah. It's not so much that the grading is easier, it's more that it starts out better to begin with, requiring less pushing to get it where you want. The A7S3 image looks smeary in comparison. The R5C looks a lot like a RED to be honest, and that's not a bad thing.
I'm not sure I understand your question. If what you are asking is about the firmware update which led to the camera being Netflix approved, that was several firmware updates ago, so as long as you're on the latest one you'll get those features.
Looks the same to me, but like you, I didn’t compare the old firmware to the new in any controlled way. I’m just out working with the thing and as far as that goes, it’s the same. 🤷♂️
your videos are so good and i want to learn from you more, recently i got a7s3 from my work in real estate, how you expose your slog3 footage and how you maintain dynamic range in low light?
Hey thanks brother. That's a conversation perhaps a bit longer than a comment can address. Basically though I set zebras on the A7Siii to 92IRE and then expose off of that. I'll address it in my next livestream.
From what it looks like the image looks cleaner can’t really tell the dynamic range since the image is so clean but what’s your thoughts would you say there’s a difference?
I need to get out to Cali and film with you. I love the simplicity and clean colors you always produce. Great work brother!
Thanks brother. Glad you enjoyed it. Any time. 👊
Those are some super clean colors man!

Very elegant video =) Your style gives it a very high production value.
Thanks brother. Glad you liked it! 🍻
How did you download this video format

Any thoughts on the new firmware? I didn't do nearly enough testing before hastily upgrading... Whoops...
Same smh

@@loudandclearmedia Thanks brother, I wait for your upcoming amazing tute about this kind of video
how do you power your R5C? do you attach a battery to the gimbal?
Yes. I have a V-lock Tilta power passthrough sled on my RS2 with a FX Lion Nano-One battery on it.

If there’s a difference, I can’t tell.
