Evil Eye is almost perfect. It just needs a way to protect the equip spells in the backrow like Centurion does. So many games lost because my opponent drew into harpy Feather duster or a very specific spell removal
He doesn’t do it in the replays for some reason, but evil eye already has built in protection on Selene via Catoblepas! Usually serziel can’t be targeted or destroyed and Selene can’t be destroyed. It’s a good lock
@@eddiegomez2200the problem is catob is an ignition effect and not a quick effect. It’s almost useless. It also only protects for the turn. It’s so useless it’s maddening because it could have been a great effect for the strategy.
@@katzuma7641 I think the deck may be too annoying if it lasted until the end of the opponents next turn but would make it much more formidable and there are still many ways of getting rid of towers monsters so they could definitely add another lvl 4 or 3 that can special summon themselves and then have the protection as an ignition effect I wish it was more of the engine because they have some cool cards but this really is just handtrap.deck with armored xyz package
Why do you even care dawg, you obviously don't even play the game. Yugioh has been like this for years and most of the meta decks rn don't even need handtraps like this anymore. This is a rogue deck this is what it does to compete against decks that are much stronger than it. Also the reason a deck can run this many hand traps is because it is efficient enough to need not as many cards to do it's gameplan
Theres 2 main reason 1- This deck can pretty much do the main play with only 1 card so theres more slots to play handtraps 2- this is a fragile deck so it cannot break full boards, it needs severe handtraps to make sure the oponnent dont make full combo cuz surely it wont even break an hero board, today meta boards is out of control for these kind of decks

I personally am enjoying Evil Eye w/ Horus and the unchained package with Shavara. It’s my favorite way to play Evil Eye so far.
I used to play evil eye with Unchained in MD, a very fun synergie !
