Oh i loved his saturday afternoon shows as a kid in the 80s it was a variety joke sketch and music show. They dont have radio presenters/DJs like this anymore, along with Kenny Everett and Steve Wright
Adrian Juste, when I first heard him on the Radio I thought he sounded like Kenny Everett. I thought it was annoying that Adrian would use classic comedy clips and he would chirp in and try to be funny, as if he was in the original sketch, well, he was as funny as a circus clown at a funeral on a rainy day !!
The show was broadcast at on a Saturday afternoon when a lot of people would have been out doing things other than listening to the radio so viewing figures wouldn’t have been that good whoever had Adrian’s slot. His show ran for years so it must have been enjoyed by many.
Brilliant. When I was a young teenager in the early 80s I wouldn’t miss this fella each Saturday afternoon. Hilarious.
Me too, Saturday between 1 and 2, I used to wish it was in longer. I used to tape them and I think I still have them somewhere on cassette tapes.
I loved Adrian Juste on a Saturday, brought a breath of fresh air to stodgy Saturdays, Saturday afternoon shop culture, and boring Sport On Two.
Loved Adrian Juste on a Saturday Afternoon
I use to listen to his shows religiously every Saturday afternoon. It took him a week to make a 1 hour show.
*used

No one made you listen to his shows.
Andrew's more of a Chuckle Brothers man.

Sounds a little bit like Kenny everett
How did this man work in broadcasting?
Why? Because you don't get it, no one else should have been allowed to?
Wtf is this tripe recommended to me by the algorithm? 😂
Just as crap now as then... Thank god they got rid of him
Dreadful
And yet here you are 😉
