I have found your tutorial very helpful. I’ve made my grandson a controller to top his cake. It came out so much better than I expected as I’m only a novice, only been cake making for about 8 months. Thank you so much for the helpful hints and tips 🎉🎉
Thank you so much I love your tutorials can I be cheeky and ask for your sponge cake recipe you sponge looks beautiful and yum. Thank you in advance. Love from Australia 🇦🇺
I LOVE THIS AND THE SMOOTHNESS OF THE CAKE, DO YOU HAVE A CHANNEL OR WOULD YOU SHARE YOUR TIPS ON THIS CAKE FROST? THIS FROST BEATS USING SO MUCH FONDANT...ESPECIALLY FOR A BEGINNER
I don’t quite understand how you used the stencil. Is it parchment paper? Did you trace it onto the fondant or did you trace the cutout. Whatever information you provide is appreciated. ❤
Im confused how you do the stencil for the level 13 and happy birthday, do you just push the stencil into the fondant and cut out ? and is the stencil just on regular paper?
Thank you! I got the controller stencil by googling Xbox controller outline, found a good one and traced it. As for the font, I normally use 1001fonts.com for most of the ones I use.
@@ilovebuttercream7684 thanks Girl! Its been alot of hard work, but all reward! It's amazing getting to do what I love... You'll get there too, just stick with it and learn to trust yourself ☺️
Low and slow and do not open the oven door for at least the first 20 mins... or 30 if I’m trying to bake a double barrel cake. You’ll know it’s done when a toothpick in the center comes out clean. I always bake my cakes about 10F lower than what my recipe calls for so they don’t rise too fast. It would also be a good idea to check the temperature of your oven as well to be sure it is baking at an even temperature and has no “hot spots”. Heat will make your leaveners rise too fast resulting in doming or even splitting of the cake. Hope this helps!
I use to use store bought pre made ones and squish them altogether but that proved difficult to get them to stay together, so I now use Yolanda Gampps recipe for modeling Rice Krispie treats. I basically use a half a bag of small marshmallows on a double boiler till warmed thoroughly, you can also microwave them. Them add 3 cups of Rice Krispies but crunch them up a little bit before you mix them in. This helps them compact better and I find they set better than store bought. Hope this is helpful!

How do you get your cakes so nice and thick? I can't seem to get them to rise as much as these ones 😕

I googled “Xbox controller outline” for the topper and I get most of my fonts from 1001fonts.com
Did you buy store bought ready rice crisps or homemade from scratch? Please share some tips .. new in sculpting..

Wow thanks how much would you charge for it
Depends on where you live really. Here in Canada it would be in the $120-$150 range I suppose.
