As a gamer, I'm pretty sure they despawn. When people that don't understand games quite as much, they'll do things that can surprise you, and they think way differently. Someone did a video on it, it's pretty interesting really.
The next time someone says I'm too old to play video games, I'm going to show them this video. That aside, this is the most wholesome thing I've ever seen. I've had New Leaf for longer than this woman has (I got it in 2013), but somehow she has managed to put in more time and dedication into her town than I did. It just goes to prove that, with patience and hard work, anything is possible, whether it's a beautiful Animal Crossing town such as this, or a university degree. I got New Horizons in May, and I was somehow lucky enough to get Audie as my first mystery-island villager. She is so sweet and I love her so much. Like I stated earlier, this video also proves that nobody is too old for video games. Any game is for anyone. I hope you are doing well, Audrey. Keep playing Animal Crossing ❤

I started playing animal crossing new leaf 5 years ago, and the only thing I accomplished was that my house wasn’t a tent anymore
Fine lol yes, I started playing when I was 8 so I didn’t understand much of the game, the only thing I new was that if you sell fruit you get money to pay your bills, that’s it
My sister got her switch a few days ago now she has a house, a hamster, and a garden full of flowers. I played a couple days 24/7 of it and im decorating my tent with sticks and stones lol

That aside, this is the most wholesome thing I've ever seen. I've had New Leaf for longer than this woman has (I got it in 2013), but somehow she has managed to put in more time and dedication into her town than I did. It just goes to prove that, with patience and hard work, anything is possible, whether it's a beautiful Animal Crossing town such as this, or a university degree.
I got New Horizons in May, and I was somehow lucky enough to get Audie as my first mystery-island villager. She is so sweet and I love her so much.
Like I stated earlier, this video also proves that nobody is too old for video games. Any game is for anyone.
