    For all the people, what you see in this video is a small 1 percent what he knew about martial arts. What you see in this video is mostly not wing chun itself. What Dr. Kernspecht is teaching here is called, in translation, magic hands, which focuses mainly on learning fluid motions of the body and how to take advantage of it when it comes to fighting and it is not about fighting itself. Sure magic hands is used in wing chun in some cases but in this video it is not about WT. For illiterate people who typed on their keyboard that Dr. Kernspecht isnt able to fight:
    He competed in Kempo, Judo, Jiu Jitsu, Shotokan and Wado-Ryu Karate, Taekwondo and Muay Thai. His uncle introduced him to Graeco-Roman, Free Style and later, Persian wrestling. He was a part of a wrestling team that traveled across Europe. He fought quite successfully in several tournaments. And even gained a nickname Strangler Keith, because he used to finish his opponents by choking them. He was very strong when he was in his twenties and was one of first modern power-lifters in Northern Germany. His specialty were dumb bell flies with more than 150 lbs. in each hand. In the late 1970s he tought a few of the FBI agents his methods. Do some research before you type some sh*tty statements. He also died few days ago, rest his soul.

    That’s their business model.
    The only way this bullshit works is if u never get into a fight or even a sparring match.

    The problem here is that students are under pressure to avoid making the master look foolish. There were plenty of openings there that could have been exploited. The students stop trying as soon as the master starts attacking. This is OK for the purposes of demonstrating technique but it should be acknowledged that this is not how things would go down against an opponent who is genuinely fighting back.

      @Tandoori the problem is that a lot of these hits are something like slapping with the back of the hand somewhere on the torso from 10 cm distance (everything around 0:28 for example) no matter how much you train this can never be a hard it or anything that incapacitates a slightly trained opponent even mildly. Take a step back and try to land a proper punch.
      Also there is a total imbalance of movements. Yes wing-Tsun is a lot about speed, but you there has to be a slightly similar number of movements. You might take an opponent by surprise and land 2 or 3 movements while the opponent does 1, but you can't consistently demonstrate techniques that show 3 movements while the opponent barely moves. This is like showing "My opponent tries to punch me, i dodge, go around him and then punch him in the back of his head". A technique that consistently expects you to have many more movements available than your opponent has cannot work in reality.

    kernspecht ist gut, also richtig gut. aber dieses gepatsche kann ich auch schon nicht mehr sehen. wenn ich als wing chun kämpfer kontakt habe könnte es zu 90% für mich ausgehen. aber ich muss in diese distanz erst mal reinkommen. kernspecht sollte lieber man den anfang zeigen, also aus 2 m wo dann ja auch mal ein tritt kommen kann. das ist ja das schwere und nicht wenn ich schon am gegner bin. alle aus dem wt machen chi sao, was aber im kampf anders ist bzw der geringste anteil, deswegen bekommen auch so viele aus dem wt den hintern voll. ich mache seit 25 jahren wing chun und man sollte nicht so arogant wie die von der ewto sein.

      so schauts aus , habe das auch 20 jahre gemacht beim backhaus mitten im pott der das für die straße beigebracht hat weil er selbst, sagen wir einschlägigen umgang hatte. Das ganze wischi waschi von der ewto ist nur ne verkaufsmasche. als ich mit 16 den ÜL gemacht habe habe ich danach privatunterricht genommen, das war bedeutend effektiver als alles andere vorher.
      und meiner meinung nach sollte man wing tsun auch mit einer aggressiveren kampfkunstart kombinieren...und das wichtigste ist, so blöd sich das liest, es in echten kämpfen zu testen oder mal mit einem gegner in den ring zu steigen denn sonst lernt man angriffe nicht durchzuziehen und das ist nicht sinn der sache

    • @Bob19684
      @Bob19684 2 роки тому

      @@zeimenyo4420 also wing tsun mit anderen zu kombinieren braucht man nicht. ich kann wt auch richtig krass oder auch brutal machen. allerdings brauchst du dafür die trainingspartner und die findet man nicht so leicht. da es schon sehr schmerzhaft sein kann. jeder kampfsport ist nur so gut wie sein anwender. deshalb sollte man niemanden unterschätzen.

    • @mightymeatmonsta
      @mightymeatmonsta 8 років тому +1

      He could seriously hurt someone if he wanted to. In wing chun, we can make serious power in short distances, unlike other systems, that can't. They need FEET to produce the power due to the fact that they use muscular force, which is limited. Wing chun works on relaxed power and chi, which can be unlimited.

    • @mightymeatmonsta

      Evidence is in the one inch punch, which can produce power in one inch. And also, we can produce power from about a foot and others who use any boxing derivative need at least three to four feet. Yes, there is. Your body is a battery and produce energy like one. The stronger the battery (energy), the stronger the chi.

      I have been practicing Wing Chun for about 9 years in Hong Kong under WSL lineage and I can easily tell that he is truly a joke from his movements and stances and so. In addition, this guy is from Leung Ting lineage and everyone knows LT is just a business man and his technique is a joke as well. They might be able to beat a beginner or someone who won't hit them back in a demo , but not against an expert. They don't deserve to be called as "Master" or even "GM". WC is truly one of the treasures of Kung Fu, but it is often misunderstood or even made fun by many people in the Martial Art or Kung Fu field, just because there are numerous so-called "master" don't have the ability to demo WC and promote well in the West or even in the East of the world, simply because they don't learn enough (of course they think they do). I guarantee that most of the best WC sifus are in Hong Kong, for example Wan Kam Leung, Cheung Chi Ping, Kong Chi Keung, etc. There is also a good sifu in LA, USA (Gary Lam). If you wanna know deeper, welcome to shoot me a msg. No offense:)

    • @bg1616
      @bg1616 8 років тому

      What do you mean by "that's not Wing Chun". To me he was demoing the springiness of limbs, relaxing and tensing at the right times etc Creating some 'give' to dampen or redivert someone's attack so that you can follow up with a counter- attack. It's a general instinct. What is it that you don't like the look of.

      It has crappy LINEAR footwork, not the angled footwork you see in traditional. That is why you have problems with boxers. You can't stand directly in front of a boxer, it's too dangerous. You also do not rotate towards the attack, which again is dangerous since the hook goes beyond your peripheral vision and you don't see it until it is too late to stop it. By rotating towards the attack, you can see the attack coming and it also moves you away from the attack as well.

      ***** In my humble opinion, his slap fu will not get the job done. Leung Ting is a whole other story, but he was never a direct student to Yip Man, and as far as I know he never completed the system before moving on. My point is that wing chun is a direct style, a no fuzz system with linear strikes and utilizing economy of motion. A master can change his system to suit his purpose, sure, but not to the point of an unrecognizable mess.

    The problem with Kernspecht is that his feeling and instincts are so developed that he finds the path regardless of the form or prescribed action. Also, to really learn anything from him requires you be at near master level to begin with. Much of what he does would be nearly suicide for a beginner or novice. If you watch other videos, his attacks are clearly relaxed, placed and deliberate

    Do you see how he leans in to his attacks at times.....kind of ducks his head. This also causing weight on the front foot. That is not proper WT. I am a student of Leung Ting's and I know (with respect) that is not how he taught Si-Fu Kernspecht. Like Muhammad Ali vs. the conventional boxer, WT teaches to keep the head back out of range, rather than forward. Although considered just as effective; the German style of Wing Tsun is different than the true Chinese teaching. I trained some of the German way with Emen Boztepe and learned some of the difference. I would recommend the Chinese teaching to anyone who has the choice.

      Das ist das beste "angeblich"? Und es wird scheinbar so effektiv totgeschwiegen, dass ich es hier lese?
      "Angeblich springt er nachts im Bademantel auf dem Dach herum und uriniert in die Hinterhöfe!" - halte ich für weitaus interessanter. Hat ihn der Schüler finanziell in Bedrängnis gebracht oder war er so schlecht, dass es auf K. abgestrahlt hat? Ich kenne Leute die jahrelang mit ihm zu tun hatten und deren angebliche Geschichten hatten etwas mehr Tiefgang - totgeschwiegen wurde noch nie irgendetwas, sonst gäbe es diesen Begriff doch gar nicht.

      Ich meine, dass ich schon so viel Substanzielles gehört habe wie: "X hat Y in Z gedemütigt/zusammengeschlagen/hintergangen und Y äußert sich zu dem existierenden Beweis/Beleg/Video/Doument nicht, weil X darin mit gutem Grund zu handeln vermeint hat". Will sagen K.Kernspecht hat schon mit zehntausenden Personen direkten Kontakt gehabt - und das seit den 1980ern - , dass mich "angeblich" und "wird totgeschwiegen" nicht hinterm Ofen vorlocken. Ich kenne persönlich Leute (ehemalige EWTO-Sifus, darunter Rothemden), die ihn in widersprüchlichster Weise dargestellt haben und die sich damit immer nur selbst charakterisierten. Natürlich ist er kein Heiliger (und auch kein Super-Ganove) - wenn es aber um die Sache geht, dann ließe ich mir lieber von K.Kernspecht seine Kampfkunst erklären, als von Online-Koryphäen aus der Sphäre der Angeblichkeiten. Mit anderen Meinungen kann ich umgehen, die wahre Bedeutung des (alt-)griechischen Begriffes der Kritik kenne ich auch; mich nervt einfach nur, wenn sich Leute blöder stellen als sie sind.

    The so called "best master"...if he fought anyone good at grappling, I´m sure the grappler could take any of his punches
    he´s showing here, elbow, fist, or whatever...
    and then do a simple takedown, because he´s a lot stronger and faster...
    once on the ground, what´s the master supposed to do?
    The anti-grappling techniques he teaches his students are just ridiculous,
    one might think, he himself or Leung Ting
    invented them while beeing locked up in a basement for months,
    without actually testing the techniques against grapplers...
    though K.R.K. claims, he did a lot of physical research with the grapplers at the
    University in Bulgaria...I don´t believe it....
    I´m sure a good grappler, whether a wrestler or a BJJ guy, who can really take a punch, would submit this guy within seconds....so much for that....
    yes, I have a certain respect towards him,
    like I have for anyone who´s doing martial arts,
    but he´s waaaaay overrated in the martial arts community....

    It is demo but still it's horrible. He uses too much forward motion and motion on upper body when he attack sometimes. Also, why too show off and keeping no guard hand up when attacking and controlling opponent. This teaches the wrong to students, doing flashy useless shit. No wonder our alliance including broke from the EWTO, fancy jiggling around with no guard or no low elbow punches only. True Wing Tsun is about not that shit.
