He says, " I can tell you that the level of promotion, as an example, that went into the Anvil movie in comparison to any Anvil album, it dwarfed it. It's like, what albums? When did you ever put an album out? The difference is, you've got a couple guys on a telephone making phone calls to get Anvil interviews and this and that, you've got a couple people. Whatever. They work for the record company, or at the most, five people are on the case. You've got guys specifically for that area, whatever."

Mr. Lips is 100% RIGHT Anne; the 1990s were a hard &, frankly, more than crappy time for REAL Heavy Metal music, and despite such horrible circumstances for him & his band #Anvil, they have rightfully persevered & today they’re FINALLY getting the recognition they have desperately deserved, which is impressive considering the fact that after making a modest splash with their aptly titled album “Metal on Metal” & a more than memorable appearance at a huge festival back in the early 1980s they were almost never heard from again for many years 🤘 💿 🎼 🎵 🎶 🎸 🤘 👄
I'm so, so glad that Anvil is finally getting the respect they deserve, too!
