I use the Dolphin Premier. Yes, it's corded. That wasn't a deal breaker for me. It offers a filter option, (the bleated one) that gets the fine dirt. The bag filter option is great for fall leaves. The last one is worthless to me. Fine dirt will pass thru that one, as well as the cordless model top filter.
@handydadtv I take them out and hose them off after it's done running. I've had this unit for probably 6 years or so. I've had no issues yet with it. Our pool was never this clean when we used a Polaris with a boost pump.
Also, I bought the caddy that's for the robot. There's a cord holder to keep the cord from tangling. The caddy is on wheels to make it easy to move it around for storage.
Good morning. I just purchased a new home with a built in pool and am looking at multiple videos with everyone testing all different models of cordless pool cleaners. If you had to pick one and money wasn't an issue, which one would you pick? I am asking the same question to multiple youtubers. Thx. Paul.
I can’t answer without bias. The Beatbot is cool but I’ve only used it a short time. I have the most experience with the Dolphin Triton and think it’s really good value. ua-cam.com/video/l3Gzn8gnk-s/v-deo.html
STAY AWAY FROM POLARIS. AFTER LESS THAN A YEAR my $1600 investment just crapped the bed. EVEN BEFORE THAT, it was a POS that I tried returning to Leslie Pool after less than a week. Constantly complains about errors. Pull it up to clean out the basket to get it running again, oh weird, NOTHING IN THE BASKET, don't know why it's throwing a "Full Basket" error. REALLY COOL. Also the "Tangle Free CORD" even after stretching it out to its full like 20+FT, coiling it carefully, still tangled. Oh and it doesn't like surfacing. Even if you push the button on the control base. SUPER COOL.

How do you clean the pleated filters? Have you had to replace them?

@George-fb7fj How is the cord holding up? I have a 5-year-old Dolphin Triton and the rubber on the cord is funky.
@handydadtv it seems to be ok, for now. I put it in our salt pool once a week. Then store it in a plastic shed. For more context, I live in TX.
That's a beautiful pool and relaxation area dad!
Thanks 😊

have had both types--cordless all the way. The filter screen is very fine and gets all the dirt. Would never go back to corded.
Thanks for the advice.
