- If you're planning a Carnival cruise in 2024, you might want to become familiar with the upcoming changes and additions that the cruise line is making. If you were hoping to visit Celebration Key, for instance, you'll have to wait one more year, as this port won't open until 2025.
From increasing the cost of Carnival's drink package to redeploying ships from Charleston, South Carolina to Norfolk, Virginia, here are seven big changes you can expect that will impact your cruising experience in 2024 and beyond.

They need to fix the NON-SUPERVISED kid issue!!
So true
Been on a lot of cruises and have never seen an issue with kids. My wife is a teacher so we only cruises when kids ore out of school and on ships. What I have seen is undisciplined and entitled adults on almost every cruise.
@@cjhan47 Same for me.
Go on cruise with no kids virgin has it
Correction: @0:56 Mahogany Bay is in Honduras…and i cant wait for Celebration Key. I live on the island where they’re building it and I’m so excited to watch it unfold and boost our economy 🎉
I have 4 cruises in 2024 all on Carnival. 3 on the Jubilee!! I am so excited
I'm so happy I don't drink hahah, that a lot of money for a drink package!!
I know 😮
You will enjoy Galveston. This is my home port, I hope you are coming 1 or 2 days early / late to enjoy the strand , Johnson Space Center NASA, Moody Gardens , and much more.... Welcome 1st timer, we live 22 miles from Harborside drive and enjoy breakfast @ home before we get on our next cruise!!!
Good to know the Drink Package did not change for the longer cruises.
Going on Mardi Gras October of’24…can’t wait!
I’m booked on Jubilee on March 16th. Itinerary is Mahogany Bay Roatan, Costa Maya & Cozumel. So excited to cruise on Carnival’s newest ship.
Happy new year
My wife and I will be on the Carnival Jubilee on March 2nd . However, we really looking forwarded to "behind the Fun Ultimate Tour".
I have magic, phanorama, and Firenze booked for 2024!
Sailing on Mardi Gras and Venezia!!! 2024 woo hoo !!!
Jubilee booked for April 🥳
Sailing on the Dream Jan 13-27 2024! 1st cruise in over 28 yrs.
Us too! See you aboard. 17 cruises, all but one out of Galveston. Have a Guy burger!🎉
We have Mardi Gras and Jubilee booked for 2024
You mentioned that the Carnival FIRENZE will sail out of Los Angles. Don't you mean Long Beach?
I am booked on the Panaroma in June but missed what the chang was....
Do you have any changes in MSC Seashore?
Great vlog!!!
FTTF was not worth it on out Celebration cruise this past March...
While out of Miami the employees had ZERO clue what this was, even though it was pasted all over our luggage tags, boarding papers, I had to be forceful with the pier agents who didn't care and once in the waiting area the people who were letting people on board. One gentleman even tried to get us removed from the waiting area, luckily and finally a lady heard me and told the guy to let us in!.....🙄
Then once on board our room was not ready u until 3 pm!!!....
No tenders and no reason to see guest services this was a waste of money....
Never again....
Carnival Firenze in Oct. 24!!
Cheers is $69.95 plus gratuities on short sailing pre cruise. Your information is incorrect.
Who is John Harold? It's John Heald...
How was Half Moon Cay?
Carnival ambassador is John HEALD .
Seriously!
yeah a lot of things seemed off with this vid - it says changes in 2024 but a lot of what she said is taking place in 2025 or already happened in 2023
We are booked on Carnival Conquest for the Christmas cruise. A little disappointed the cost for water has increased and...we are not allowed to bring our own bottles of water.
theyre probably too worried about if people will try to sneak in other beverages in the bottles - doubling the cost of their 12 pack is a little ridiculous
The Jubilee is stopping in Roatan, Honduras, not Belize...
I love Belize
have 10 booked until spring break 2026, all Havana Panorama cruises---wont go any other way but Havana, hell we dont even leave the area and have our food delivered. Tired of the overall atmosphere on CCL with a different kind of clientele causing trouble. You can also save money on the drink package by using discount AARP Carnival cards. The 7 day package is $990 but you can get it for 900 using AARP cards
What is Havana, if you don’t mind me asking? I agree with the trouble makers…what’s the point of having Security walking around if they don’t do anything about them??
You could be a little more obvious than just say you don't want to cruise with black people
You are the exact snob we hate cruising with
Just got off and the trouble makers was white!!! Go and figure that one out!!!
@@kateniajohnson3368 havana is a cuban(?) inspired area on the Vista class and XL class ships that only people booked in those cabins can access - it used to be after 7 pm they would let anyone else on the ship in that area but i think they may have stopped that - it is pretty nice having ur own area - we had a cabin for the first time there this past September on Horizon and will be there a couple more times on Horizon over the next year then on Panorama end of 2025 - most of the reason i booked there was because we prefer aft balconies on deck 9 or whatever is under Lido and it just happened to be in Havana - so there we went. if it fits ur budget it would probably be worth booking there at least once
Allie is cute!
Once you go on a few cruises you realize quickly not to fall for the Xtra gimmicks..
no doubt - i used to get the drink package but we tried it without this last time - the bf only drank about $250 worth and I drank about $450 so definitely saved some money - going with cash on the sail and sign from now on
@@adjustableWench same we usually spend half of what to drink package cost for drinks
did they get a new ambassador? hadnt heard of john harold
Jubilee will not visit Belize. Excel class ships don’t visit tender ports.
Honestly not sad about them not sailing out of Charleston anymore. Was our least favorite port.
I won't be doing anything related to Carnival lol :P
Just got back on Carnival Paradise. Carnival has lost me as cruiser never again
What happened to make you say that?
Mardi gras Jan 6th-13th
It's DR Inks, not Inks.
Was wondering if Carnival was going to make changes that would make me want to cruise on their line again. You know, maybe have food that is decent outside of just the specialty restaurants, not continuing to nickel and dime the hell out of you, etc. Nope, they are not. My desire to ever sail Dollar General of the Seas again is still at zero.
Exactly
Only if I habe absolutely nothing in life to do!! And i want the cheapest vacation and tons of unsupervised kids everywhere.
@@turbulance2023absolutely agree. 🤣🤙🏽
"Shaq O'Neal" is not an acceptable way to pronounce his name
I have to wonder why Faster to the Fun is even offered. Certain privileged people think they should be able to buy their way to the top without any effort or rules applied to themselves.🤨 Carnival makes Loyalty a joke and bottom line it’s extra money for the Cruiselines.🤨👎
Royal Caribbean does the same thing
@ronsteitz4535 it's max $189 for a 9 night cruise to get all those perks without spending extra 1000 or more for a suite to give those same perks. If you're platinum or higher you already get that plus some. Either way if you broke just say that 😂
Are u bitter? 😂 I definitely bought FTTF!! A lot cheaper than sailing a bunch of cruises for the same thing
Privileged? No rules? Huh? If I have the money to get FTTF, I’m still getting on after the upper tiers and it doesn’t make me above the law. Working my way up the tier ladder and one day I won’t need it. I will pay all day long to get settled quicker. Sorry you don’t feel special. 😢
@@hollysearles6159 i hear that - tbh i mostly will get it for the guest services line - i figure we will have to wait in line for everything anyway so i dont pay much attention to the other perks - and far as i know like u said im pretty sure the rules still apply to us as they do everyone else - the upper tier people included
