I was pregnant af a(his child) and he made me sleep on the floor because my getting up to pee would wake him and set off an abusive cycle. Thankfully I ran away to the dv shelter when my baby was a few weeks old. He’s in prison now for strangling and assaulting his newest gf. People, learn from me and just remember: abuse does not equal passion.

Halfway through we were both crying because of what I’ve been through and recognize it in your lyrics.
