The season in Silver Leaves is Winter when the protagonist dies, then it transitions into Spring at the end, renewing the cycle again. Also the same season as When Time Fades Away.
That Roman coming back turns heel joins Paul Heyman makes a dominant group of his family the bloodline remember the Hart foundation of 1997 it's like that but more longer
I genuinely don't understand what made the bloodline so great initially because there have been many heel turns who create a faction and becomes champion for awhile. I don't get why people put bloodline on such a high pedestal. (initial phase 2020-2021 ish) What made it "cinema" when we have seen this forever?
I would say Bayley did too. Ppl kinda forget that her heel turn was kind of a flop when it happened, but she and Sasha were the MVPs of the pandemic Era, and I'm talking EARLY pandemic Era, before they got to the Thunderdown. Her character and mic skills improved greatly in those fanless shows.
@richardmbanaso2422 I think it's the little things. Like Danielson says, it's Theatre vs Cinema. Theatre is all grand gestures and implicit imagery, Cinema is about minute details and explicit imagery. When Austin slowly faded and then passed out when he was trapped in the Sharpshooter, that's Theatre. When Reigns would grab Jey Uso by the face and pull him close to the camera, berating him about how he's the only one that can shoulder the responsibility of being champion, that's Cinema.
I feel like a promotion that did the mix perfectly was Lucha Underground. Just a shame they had no business sesne when it came to the wrestlers and just pissed everyone off.
Lucha Underground was done for by the time pandemic hit by a few years. Had they still been in business they would have set up well to film another season during the shutdowns
I agree, 100%. Lucha Underground has for me become the epitome of Pro Wrestling Entertainment. It has for real definitely reinvented the game. The way it ended was kinda sad for sure, loved the whole concept and the shows.
@jamesarnold7253but technically the figurine would be Daniel Bryan and not Bryan Danielson, so who's right really? It's a figurine of his WWE character, not him.
That's why they were able to execute on burning the fiend on that time. They're not actually live and surrounded by live fans. But it still wonders me how they execute those lightning bolts when the undertaker did his live promos.
I would give Paul Heyman most of the credit because he was the one who taught Roman how to talk quietly during the pandemic.. worked like a charm. Everything Roman did had Heyman's fingerprints all over it.
Yeah, I would agree with Bryan Danielson here. Roman Reigns really benefited from the pandemic era and changed his character for the better. He was able go deep into who his character was and create a meaningful storyline that branched off throughout years that some fans like myself can still get behind.
Looking at how Bryan has booked himself in aew for last few years it's understandable that Roman had a big league mindset and Bryan was just tired down by his indy way of producing a show.
crazy how so many wrestlers didnt get it, i remember some of them were even playing to the crowd to empty chairs before the thunderdome id be watching like who are you talking to lol, i wonder if roman was looking at how dumb they looked too and quickly adapted when he came back
Another odd thing from the pandemic era. All the guys that were on top during that time( in every co I can think wwe aew, tna) were all kind been put to the side when audiences returned. Also the pre tape segments and matches are a storytelling tool they should use even now when they arent forced.
I think his point isn't about the schedule but the difference with no crowd meant they lost the live TV feeling but there were filmography options to mix it up.
he was saying wrestling is usually like theatre, where you’re acting/playing to a crowd and their reactions. but during the pandemic there was no fans, so you had to play to the camera, like in cinema, Roman understood that and altered his style and was wrestling/talking/emoting to the camera directly because that’s where the audience was.
Roman def benefited alot during time to help build the physiology of his character
You definitely didn't mean "physiology".

The Tribal Chief(the real one, not Solo🙅🏿♂️) DEFINITELY got it☝🏿
Solo
Talking to the camera was smart

I dont think bloodline would have been successful if it started with crowds
The thing is, the change to pro wrestling that Danielson is championing is going to fail and is failing.
Roman Reigns understood the assignment

Bryan Danielson seems very intelligent!
If he ever comes back to WWE, he definitely deserves to be a producer backstage.
Danielson was trained by HBK. It's not a surprise that he understands pro wrestling psychology better than others.
@@SohamBhattacharya3105 He was more trained by like William Regal, who I think is even MORE understanding of the business.
Roman since becoming the tribal chief has been next level
Roman did thought that. He said in some interview, what the wrestlers were doing during the pandemic was missing something
What was that thing it was missing?
@richardmbanaso2422 I think it's the little things.

The only promotion that said that they was different from wwe and never became waterdown bootleg wwe.
I seen an interview with Roman were he pretty much says exactly that
Daniel Bryan, one of the best, most technical to ever do it.
I miss the cinema era. That mitb match was incredible
Hell no! There was good stuff that came out during that time but aint no way I'd ever hope for another pandemic!
No MC
Amazing analogy, I unapologetically call wrestling theater, because it just is in so many ways. Glad I’m not the only one who sees it that way
There's no need to use AI for those pictures
They couldn't just Google "theater photo"? For real
This's one of the reasons why an icon...John Cena acknowledged The Tribal Chief as the .....G.o.a.t... argue with ur grandma
"Avegners?"
As Carlito might say: "That's not cool."
I always had respect for daniel i still have a daniel bryan figure
@jamesarnold7253 because when i was still watching him he was daniel bryan. I dont watch AEW and idk why they changed his name

why are you using ai images in your shorts lmfao, you can look up perfectly good images of both a theater and a movie theater
The Thunderdome isn’t as bad as people make it out to be. A lot of things are massive shit, but others are brilliance based on the situation.
Daniel Bryan is the best catcheur pro wresling all time !! 🙏👏👏 "YES, YES, YES"
Probably shouldnt have used the AI images, huh?
Yeah Roman Reigns is the aura 🔥

Pandemic was blessing for Roman.
If it didn't happen probably he wouldn't back Drew would become the Top Guy of the company.
Wow butterfly effect.
Matt Hardy did it first
The american fucking dragon ladies and gentlemen
I stopped watching WWE around 2015 so missed Bryan's comeback.... Would love him to have one final run in the big time before he retires.
I would give Paul Heyman most of the credit because he was the one who taught Roman how to talk quietly during the pandemic.. worked like a charm. Everything Roman did had Heyman's fingerprints all over it.
Roman like "there no people to sound dumb to in the microphone, NOWS THE TIME"
It gets better every relisten. It became good to amazing, especially Silver Leaves. Album of the Year, easily.

So goood
Looking at how Bryan has booked himself in aew for last few years it's understandable that Roman had a big league mindset and Bryan was just tired down by his indy way of producing a show.
I think it really helped that he was already in acting classes before that and, tbh, really benefitting from them even before that.
